I’m honestly just counting down the days until Sunday so this kid cools his jets—Lewis is going to cruise through this season just like LeBron James or Roger Federer at the US Open 2019. 🍿
No wonder you got a permanent ban from the basketball forums for posts like this; they're always so full of ego.
After seeing FP2, some kid is already handing out eight World Championships—let's just wait and see how a few actual races go first.

Look, LeBron is in his 16th season and deserves a little breather—you can't force greatness. And as for those other two champions, we're all just waiting for Nadal to make his move and for Hamilton to start dominating again.

If even one of those things happens, it'll be a solid weekend—plus, the sun is finally out! 😁

hahahaha, oh man, here we go again... Lewis grabbing his 8th WDC in just a few years...

Wow... the amount of hate Hamilton gets is unreal... I mean, what else does he have to prove out there before people stop claiming he's only winning because of luck?

James Roberts87 said:Nothing special there—if Bottas hadn't boxed Kimi, I really think Lewis Hamilton would've snagged second place.☕

Lol, if they had just called Lewis Hamilton into the pits a little sooner, he would've jumped right ahead of Kimi Räikkönen—then the whole debate would have ended even faster! Plus, let's be real, Kimi wouldn't have stood a chance on those tires anyway.

mellowtiger83 said:You’re calling it wrong! — Sebastian Vettel really should have had that Mercedes-Benz slipstream to work with at Monza, but he was sent out onto the track way too late and just couldn't close the gap.🙂

Basically, Ferrari’s strategy was actually solid—it was just executed poorly and, frankly, a bit clumsily! The whole idea was to slot Kimi ahead of the Mercedes-Benz, since they were banking on Vettel being faster by default anyway.

They really messed up for Sebastian Vettel—he should've been right in the slipstream of that Mercedes-Benz. And they did Kimi dirty too, or maybe he just blew it himself—he was hanging back about 3 seconds behind Vettel, so he wasn't getting any kind of tow at all, if he even had one!

In the end, things turned out great for Ferrari—it was just a shame they had the wrong driver on pole, because we all know how they react during the race once that happens... and then, well, Hamilton just cleaned them up!

Honestly, that might have been one of Lewis Hamilton's best drives ever—just incredible to watch!

Sebastian Vettel just isn't cut out for this kind of thing—honestly, Lewis proved once again why he’s been the absolute king of the sport over the last decade. Back when Kimi was in his prime, he was maybe the only one who could actually push him to the limit!

electriccanyon6 said:Honestly, I don't think Hamilton's car is actually that much worse right now. My gut feeling is that the Ferrari is just a tiny bit better—maybe by a single note—but they're basically identical this season. There isn't any massive gap between them; it's such a minor difference that you'd probably need someone like Michael Schumacher to even notice it.

The driver is what makes the difference this time around. Or, to put it more bluntly—Vettel just wasted way too many points on qualifying mishaps and other silly mistakes.

Well, I've been saying for ages that Vettel is just a tier below Hamilton.

Damn, seriously

Haha, can you believe we're seeing these same old glitches again... it's going to be a total self-destruct mission when Hamilton clinches a title in a slower car...

Anthony Baker84 said:It’s pretty wild that the Sky commentators were all over that—they kept hinting at a penalty, yet they never actually showed the 😬 footage.
Plus, that behavior behind the Safety Car was just plain idiotic. Why the rush to get the SC out on track when they haven't even cleared the car yet? I don't know what the hurry is with 😬

Honestly, though, you can't really blame the driver here. The team should be the ones getting penalized—maybe they ought to give the person who gave the signal a serious talking-to! If they had collided and a piece of debris ended up flying into a mechanic's throat, then everyone would be asking "why" and "how" real fast...

Brandon Evans5 said:Well, I guess it might be in Sergio Perez's best interest to grab some points for himself—especially since he can't really hold much ground against Ferrari or Mercedes at Monza. 🕺

Or maybe they should just start putting their third, fourth, fifth, and sixth drivers in Mercedes and Williams during FIA races.

I don't see how this has anything to do with Mercedes? By that logic, they should have just let Kimi Räikkönen take over from Lewis Hamilton right away since he didn't stand a chance! Sometimes you fight for a position—even against a faster car—but I guess that's all ancient history now. It's honestly pretty funny that some people actually agree with this.

There's absolutely no way they're penalizing Ferrari at Monza—those officials are clearly looking the other way.

Of course... they'll hand out a fine instead of anything serious... but hey, that's just how things go with Ferrari...

I still don't quite get why some of those cars—the ones Sebastian Vettel was catching right before the turn—didn't even try to defend, they just let him sail right past. I mean, I get it if he caught them mid-corner, but those Force India guys didn't even put up a fight... like when he overtook them, if Perez had actually tried to hold his line (or whoever it was), he probably would have slammed straight into him. That would’ve been a dream scenario for Mercedes and all the Kimi fans 😁 + maybe even a penalty for Sebastian Vettel...

That’s just not how it went down—not even close. If you look at Bottas's steering input right before they touch, it’s super obvious he’s turning straight into Max:

Plus—unlike Lewis Hamilton, who actually has a solid wingman in Valtteri Bottas (who clearly doesn't mind playing second fiddle to him)—Sebastian Vettel had to fight his own battles not just against other teams, but against Mark Webber and those annoying team orders too.

totally brutal

So basically, Ricciardo totally outclassed Vettel when they were on equal footing—and the only reason Kimi Raikkonen isn't helping Vettel out is because he’s just as fast, and Ferrari can't figure out how to manage that since Kimi obviously couldn't care less about their drama.

Brian Campbell36 said:Even Kimi messed up at the start—it wasn't like the second driver let Sebastian Vettel through and kept Lewis Hamilton behind until he could build a gap. Honestly, Arrivabene is leagues below Toto Wolff when it comes to strategy.

Toto knows exactly when to call it—like telling a water boy to hold steady—and Kimi just follows orders without any pushback. Meanwhile, Arrivabene acts more like an amateur than a pro most of the time, haha.

Well, even the Ferrari second driver, Lewis Hamilton, had to back off so Sebastian Vettel could catch up, but Lewis was just too fast and Sebastian was way too slow...

Honestly, where's the drama now? 🤣 I don't see anyone here going overboard about how Hamilton drove. If anything, Massa and Rosberg talked up that drive way more than any Hamilton fans ever did!

#freeVettel

I honestly think Ferrari overestimated themselves—they thought they were good enough to just focus on having Kimi snatch points away from Lewis... but like I said before, as long as they keep acting like Vettel is this untouchable superstar, it’s basically handing an advantage straight to Lewis and Mercedes.
