Plus, if my two geniuses hadn't been busy fighting each other (Sebastian Vettel and Robert Kubica), he would've landed 6th—and there were plenty of other "brilliant" drivers out there too. All in all, great drive by Lewis Hamilton, but he got incredibly lucky. As for McLaren, their form is just unbelievably bad. Given their size, reputation, and massive budget, calling it "catastrophic" might actually be an understatement.😲

You're forgetting that they were still tweaking the car to try and catch Felipe Massa right up until the last race—most of the other teams had already moved on to designing their next car way before this. It'll all click into place eventually, maybe even sooner than the rest of them expect.👍

Even with that gap, I guess Lewis managed to scrape together a podium finish... though it was really thanks to Trulli's mistake. 😬

Haha... Lewis Hamilton really is a thorn in everyone's side—let's see if there are any other fans of that nonsense around here who actually believe Glock let Lewis slip through last year in Brazil?

It’s true—right now, the momentum is definitely sitting with McLaren.
Unfortunately—or maybe luckily, if you’re a McLaren fan—those points don't actually hide how much they struggled to find any rhythm this past weekend.

Or is it just that classic Lewis Hamilton level of talent?
Morgan Murphy7 said:Look, friends, come talk to me once Toyota manages to snatch two championship titles from them.

Give me a break.

I mean, they haven't even managed to secure a single race win yet.😍

And hey—when a team has their own dedicated tire supplier in F1, staying at the top and fighting for titles isn't exactly rocket science... just look at what happened to Renault after Michelin left... they were absolutely crushing it alongside McLaren the year before.
stormybadger8 said:Please. He hasn't a clue. Massa and Kimi are way better—they smash into barriers, rip out fuel lines, and run over mechanics. Hamilton is a total genius; he drives straight into parked cars in the pits or parks in the gravel right at the pit entry. But oh, Vettel is just "clumsy" because he's actually defending a position during a race. ☕

EDIT:

🤣 Where do you even live? Still stuck in the Michelin era or something? 😕

Everyone uses Bridgestone tires now. 😉

🙏I don't know why I even bother. Clearly, you don't follow Formula 1. 😬

I was just pointing out how some Renault fan was calling Toyota losers—but let’s be real, once their big star left, Renault basically fell off a cliff. It really shows you exactly who the real engine behind all that success was—anyone who actually keeps up with Formula 1 should be able to see that! 😉
Morgan Murphy7 said:I'm still trying to wrap my head around the whole Toyota situation

honestly, they're just total losers🤣🤣🤣🤣

still better than Renault... plus they don't even have their own tire supplier 👍
stormybadger8 said:It’s easy to play armchair expert after the fact. If you ask me, Robert Kubica is just as much to blame here—maybe even more than Sebastian Vettel. He’s sitting in a way faster car and is forcing risky moves for absolutely no reason. Meanwhile, Vettel is just fighting to hold onto second place with some pretty sketchy driving, but honestly, he doesn't have much choice since his tires are completely shot. What was he supposed to do? Just stay out of everyone's way or pull into the pits and retire immediately?🙄 A real driver always defends his position. He’s not just going to hand it over for free.🙄 Whether they bring back the old 12, 9, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 scoring system or go back to rewarding wins specifically, we’re going to see the true impact at every single race.☕

Honestly, I still prefer him and Robert Kubica. They’re both the kind of drivers who navigate a track like grandmas crossing the street—if someone looks even slightly faster behind them, they just veer off to the side and give up. It's ridiculous. Wouldn't it be nice if they actually tried to grab a single point instead of just throwing it all away? ☕

Honestly, this just makes me hate the FIA even more.👎 That penalty is absolute garbage. Zero common sense involved. It was just a racing incident, plain and simple. And honestly, what’s so dangerous about circling the track behind the Safety Car? Give me a break.🙄 Remember when Kimi was tearing it up on a blown tire? Good times. 186 milesWell, he completely fell apart in the final lap. I mean, let's be real—Rubens spent the entire first half of the race driving around with a smashed front wing and bits of carbon fiber dangling off the car.🙄 It’s not like it’s actually dangerous. 😵 And apparently, Kimi's exhaust was just as dangerous too. Honestly, their consistency when it comes to making decisions and enforcing rules is enough to give you a massive headache.🙄

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

but you could say he learned a tough lesson after hitting Webber under the safety car—it was a total mess! Still, he’s young—he'll learn 😉
stormybadger8 said:Haha, that's exactly why Kubica keeps insisting it's all Vettel's fault.🙄

Everyone knows he’s at fault, just like Sebastian Vettel. If he hadn't lashed out, people would be tearing him to shreds right now. Honestly, calling this one of the biggest blunders in F1 history is something only someone who’s actually watched a season or two would say.🙄

Messing up like that with only three laps left? That's just painfully stupid... even with the penalty, looking at the replays, it's obvious Vettel is at fault. He drove right into Kubica, who actually left plenty of room

stormybadger8 said:Not likely.☕

Given this driver lineup, it’s hardly a shock. Today was pure luck. The car is incredible, but these two drivers have zero clue. I hate myself for even saying this, but if Michael Schumacher had been in this cockpit today, he would've lapped the guy behind him by a lap or two, regardless of the SC. This Rubens guy is a total disaster. And honestly, I can't remember the last time I saw such a pathetic second-place finish. Then you've got Button, who looks terrified of his own car—it's like he was driving at half throttle.🤷 Plus, he got lucky with those new SC rules; if things were like last year, he'd be sitting around 7th or 8th.☕

I still don't get that nonsense where everyone had to wait for Button just because he was technically the leader of the lap when the SC came out. He wasn't even on track; he was in the pits. But according to the stats, he was number one since Sebastian Vettel hadn't crossed the start-finish line yet. If it were Button, he probably would've ended up in 7th or 8th after exiting the pits, at least that's how it looks to me.🤷

Does anyone actually have the lap times from just before and after the first SC deployment?🤷

I'm still stuck on why they let the SC pass after Vettel had basically driven a whole lap ahead of it, only to make everyone wait for Button to take the lead.😕

Haha, keep it coming, man! It's rare to see this much jealousy and delusion in one place🙂
Morgan Murphy7 said:So, does that mean Alonso comes in fifth? 😁

Man, we really have some serious momentum here. It’s impressive how much ground we're gaining after a race like that. 👋

Man, Hamilton just pulled it off again—even with a much slower car this time around! 😉
stormybadger8 said:I’m with you. I’m not saying he isn't at fault, but Kubica shares the blame too. Why dive in like that when you've got a significantly faster car? It's not like he thought the guy would just magically vanish. Of course he was going to fight for the spot. They're both on the hook for this one.

Lol, Kubica isn't even slightly to blame... you're just judging him because you're trying to make excuses for that paid actor Vettel... you'd think he learned his lesson after that messy collision with Webber under the SC, but nope—he's still got more tricks up his sleeve.

Besides... Kubica had to make that pass early if he wanted any chance of catching Button... it wasn't just about getting ahead of Vettel. And what else was he supposed to do? Just sit there for a few more laps waiting for someone else to wreck so he could limp home in 3rd under the SC?

Come on, don't be silly—just admit it when your favorite driver pulls one of the biggest blunders in F1 history.
Haha... man, Vettel is such a clown... just pure chaos
🙂)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
stormybadger8 said:18. Lewis Hamilton, McLaren, 655
11. Heikki Kovalainen, McLaren, 690.6😲

Heikki is way faster than Hamilton even though he's carrying way more weight. It's insane, but looks like Heikki is finally actually driving somewhere.👍

5. Nico Rosberg, Williams, 657
14. Kazuki Nakajima, Williams, 612.5 😲😲 😲Who even is this kid? Looks like Nakajima is heading to the pits by lap 3.🤣How on earth is he that much slower than Rosberg? This is seriously weird.😕

Man, you really are deep in that hateful rabbit hole regarding Hamilton, aren't you?

People have already been telling you that Hamilton lost his fourth gear... and honestly, once he clocked that remaining time, he actually beat Heikki—who basically just finished his lap after crossing the line one more time.

Maybe try learning how to count, LOL
placidsurfer9 said:Haha... we've actually reached the point where Ross Brawn's opinion might finally carry some weight, so he’d probably just drop a link for us to check out...

Honestly, we don't need all these videos about former drivers... if Brawn GP wins tomorrow, that'll be all the proof we need.🙂
Finally seeing who actually deserves credit for those seven Schumacher championships! :P
Thanks, everyone... everything turned out fine... I guess I just spooked myself a little bit! :S
So, here’s what happened:

I ended up taking a nap 😢 in the kitchen area right by the gas stove—and long story short, a pot of water boiled over around 4 AM and just kept going until there was nothing left but a glowing hot pot sitting on the burner. My girlfriend rushed in, killed the flame and the gas, but man, that smell had already drifted into the next room. I woke up feeling totally fine, but honestly, I was pretty spooked about what might have happened, so I headed down to the ER just to be safe. They ran some blood work to check for gas exposure and everything came back perfectly normal. One of the staff members mentioned that the smell wasn't actually gas, but more like the scent of overheated metal and the mineral buildup from the boiling water. The doctor told me to keep an eye out for dizziness, nausea, or trouble breathing and come back if anything pops up. Do you guys think I have any reason to worry, or am I officially in the clear? I've read online that some people don't show symptoms for a day or two, so I'm a little on edge.

Thanks for any insight!

rustystag7 said:Look, man—I'm gonna be straight with you and ask you to look at this realistically, just not through a fan's lens...

Lewis Hamilton was robbed of that win because he didn't have the guts to just wait for things to play out fairly....

And right there—your credibility just hits zero. You actually have the nerve to tell others they're being biased?

Felipe Massa can only be considered a legitimate champion if he’s got a 7-point lead over Lewis Hamilton—or maybe a 6-point gap plus two extra wins. Anything else is just another championship rigged by the FIA.

honestly, even the tiniest little thing gets under my skin these days—it's exhausting 🙏

And man, he was so adamant about Lewis Hamilton getting rightfully penalized at Spa—now he's acting like it's fine since they've clarified the rules on it, and suddenly he's winning the race!

Wait, wasn't that when he illegally grabbed the spot by cutting the chicane?

He climbed 19 spots without even making a single overtake!

Pure driving masterclass—seriously, wow.

He still has the nerve to claim he deserved the win, even though just a few weeks ago he was attacking Hamilton, saying he only won because of luck.

If clearing 19 drivers out of the way isn't pure luck, then I honestly don't know what is.
