Exactly! And if he doesn't manage to lose any weight, he'll be out there driving basically the same car—just making a mess of things right in front of the home crowd, who all scrambled out of the stands like total cowards before the race even finished...
But honestly, nothing new here. I remember being at Monaco back when Schumacher crashed—half the Ferrari fans cleared out of the grandstands immediately, even though Rubens was still right in the thick of it...
The worst part is, half those people are probably pissed off now because Kimi didn't dive down the inside of Lewis...
stormytiger4 said:Also, something pretty wild—Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg used to be tight back in the junior leagues, but they don't even talk anymore.
stormytiger4 said:But look, Lewis doesn't even speak to him at this point.
So come on, just tell us one more time—are Rosberg and Hamilton actually on speaking terms?
darkmarlin16 said:With the way Kimi is driving this year—if Ferrari had actually treated him like their number one driver right out of the gate, they'd be leading the championship by now.
I've said it before, but honestly? He’d have at least 20 points on Lewis.
Richard Ross11 said:I used that ignore tool—don't mind me—maybe a year ago... honestly, it was just one person I had to block... and I don't regret it one bit! 🙂
To be fair, I blocked someone too—what a jerk, haha—but everyone else is totally fine, if you ask me. 🙂
stormytiger4 said:But honestly, it’s all pretty vague... Now they're trying to act like everything is totally equal. I mean, tomorrow—once Kimi overtakes him, which is just business as usual when you've got one driver fighting for the title—Hamilton fans will probably start whining that Kimi is playing wingman.
I'm definitely rooting for Kimi, though. For sure. 👋
Are you new here? Ferrari has been pulling this exact same stunt for twenty years—so if it looks weird to you, you must be new to the scene...
Jason Campbell70 said:During both those fast Q3 laps, the geniuses are basically sending out driver number one just to pull driver number two along. Especially when driver number one is fighting for the championship, while driver number two doesn't have any real reason to care about points—other than helping driver number one clinch the title. At Indianapolis.
Well, I guess I've seen it all now. GG WP.
I honestly think they were just trying to get Kimi Räikkönen ahead of Lewis Hamilton, assuming they'd swap positions later... they clearly didn't account for Bottas smashing into Vettel at the start and throwing the whole race into chaos...
crimsonhawk23 said:I wanted to circle back to what you mentioned yesterday regarding "If Kimi had the pace to win, he’d already be doing it" and how "the team strategy doesn't really factor into that" 🙂
It’s honestly a stretch to compare Kimi’s standing at Ferrari to how Bottas is positioned over at Mercedes...
