I don't know—I can't say I agree with that approach—but if you take a look at some of his recent posts, you'll see exactly what I mean... either I'm totally off base here, or the guy is just straight-up racist.

Look, I get that people love to joke about him—and hey, I'm all for a little fun—but we're talking about a guy who missed out on the Formula 1 championship by just a single point...
And let's be honest, that point came from Glock under some pretty questionable circumstances at Spa...
Regardless of what anyone else says or thinks...

Sure, Massa had his fair share of brain farts—I’ll give you that—but he had way more brilliant moments. Seriously, this is a guy with an incredible win count, and he just finished 3rd in yesterday's race, yet nobody even mentioned it in your posts! Plus, he was dealing with one of the toughest cars on track—I think Nelson Piquet's setup was maybe 5-7 kg heavier than his...

So, save all that talk about being "objective" or "unbiased" for someone else. 😉

Good grief, the clowns in this thread are out of control... One point? Are you kidding me? For it to actually feel like a fair fight, Massa should have won by at least 6 or 7 points. Does anyone even remember the robbery at Spa back in 2008?

On top of that, Massa ended up spinning off the track right during the safety car period...😁

rustystag7 said:It’s actually pretty easy to crunch the numbers—you can see exactly how many laps Lewis Hamilton pulled compared to Felipe Massa before that engine failure hit.

I mean, let's be real—yesterday's race was an absolute disaster.

Honestly, I’d give him a penalty for that move—he was just playing around cutting into the racing line when there was zero room to do it. It was way too tight right after the corner, and he almost sent us all into a ditch!

Watching him dive into the track so recklessly—with half the field having to swerve just to avoid a massive collision—it totally flashed back to that disaster where Zanardi completely wrecked things. 👎

Check out my other post where I was looking for that same info on Trulli at Spa last year—if you can't find it, then you're just being a hypocrite and a total Lewis Hamilton hater.

Thank goodness someone finally spoke some sense—actually being objective for once! ☕

LOL, nice one 🙂

Look, once someone pulls a lead of over 68 seconds in the rain, then we can talk... until then, it's all just noise.

Honestly, Felipe Massa was miles ahead today—☕just count how many times Lewis Hamilton spun off or lost control compared to how steady Massine was driving. ☕

Whether Massine had an engine issue or a gearbox failure 😕has absolutely nothing to do with his skill level in the rain. ☕

As for Hamilton's drive today and how he walked away with those points? It was easily some of the luckiest racing I've ever seen in the history of Formula 1. ☕

Seriously, people arguing about luck again... give me a break.

This is actually great news for the championship—it keeps Brawn from pulling even further ahead... gives Ferrari or McLaren a fighting chance to catch up once the circuit heads back to the States... obviously, it’ll be a massive uphill battle, but hey, that’s just F1 for you 😉

darkmarlin16 said:Look, I’m not some Ferrari hater or anything—I just really feel for Sutil. Honestly, I'd love to see him land a seat at Renault.

Hamilton just keeps spinning out and ending up in 6th place.🤮

Now that's what I call class... honestly, you guys are pathetic with all that bitter jealousy, basically rooting for someone to crash.
China Trip - Shanghai (April 19, 2009) in Formula 1 ·
Are you honestly trying to say he only started rooting for him once it was already obvious—like, blindingly obvious—that the kid had enough talent to be a champion if he just had a decent car?

😁

stormybadger8 said:Honestly, watching him pull up with a full tank and just blow past Buton on the track—and doing it while Buton had to dive into the pits on the next lap—was incredible. 🤣That’s how you tell the difference between a mere driver and a true LEGEND 🙏 🙏 🙏All that waiting and nonsense aside, he just floored it and showed everyone who the real master is. 🙏 🙏 🙏 👍

So true... props to Newey... I mean, how else do you explain Webber being left in the dust like that without anyone even being able to touch him?
China Trip - Shanghai (April 19, 2009) in Formula 1 ·
It’s nice to dream big... though let’s be real—the actual season doesn't really kick off until we hit those European races anyway—but Red Bull has Newey, and he's clearly the mastermind behind all this success

Once that happens, it’s game over for everyone else—no matter how you look at it. After China, it looks like we're headed straight into a period of total dominance from Red Bull and Vettel. ☕

hehe... maybe... though, if he can't even finish a shortened race, I'm not so sure we'll be seeing much of a dynasty anytime soon. 🤣

Bradley Nelson2 said:It’s not even weird—neither for Lewis Hamilton nor for the McLaren crew. They just continue with this casual, exhibition-style vibe. Honestly, I can't wait to hear the excuses from the pundits 🤣

Oh, please! If Fernando Alonso could lie about having zero clue about Ferrari's intellectual property—all while swapping emails about it with Pedro de la Rosa—or if Michael Schumacher could pull that dirty stunt of swerving right in the middle of the Monaco street circuit at 9.3 miles/h, pretending he just lost control 🤣 then sure, Lewis Hamilton can have a little criticism too, right?
Edward Howard2 said:I honestly think we provided more than enough proof last year that Glock let Hamilton through, so there's really no point in dragging out the debate again this season.🤣

slynomad32 said:Look, I’m a die-hard Ferrari supporter through and through, but I can't deny Hamilton's talent or his technical grasp of the sport. That being said, you couldn't convince me—not even if God Himself stepped in—that he just happens to have all the luck or that things always somehow fall perfectly into place for him. Take that situation in Monaco last year, for instance... when he punctured a tire and suddenly the safety car comes out right when he needs it to change tires and still stay in the hunt, and so on and so forth... plus, last year's McLaren was incredibly fast, so why all this talk about espionage and whatnot...

I feel like it’s a bit rich for Ferrari to be pointing fingers about spying, especially considering their own engineers used to sneak into garages just to get a visual on rival cars in the past.🤣
fadedpanther4 said:I don't really get why you're picking on me then. 😛

Yesterday was honestly nothing more than pure luck and a lucky break. I guess I'm not disputing Hamilton's driving skill or his overall value.

You call it luck, but I'd call it a lack of skill—basically, Sebastian Vettel and Jarno Trulli just couldn't figure out how to handle the situation...

Haha... Lewis really is an eyesore. Let's see if there are any other defenders of this nonsense here who actually believe Glock let Lewis off the hook in Brazil last year?

What are you even talking about? 🙄

I'm just putting all those people—you know, the ones who call every single one of Lewis Hamilton's wins "just luck"—exactly where they belong. 😉
Jose Taylor17 said:I don't think so... McLaren is completely screwed.☕

Exactly... BMW fans are just crossing their fingers hoping they can finally pull something off—especially since they basically pivoted to next year's car halfway through this season and left Robert Kubica out in the cold. Only time will tell if that was enough decision-making😉

As for McLaren... they’ve got a top-tier engine, a stellar driver, and those rules about whatever speeds up the car—which aren't even fully set yet. Honestly, I think having that clarity is going to be a prerequisite for a better future, not a worse one😁
