God, this whole situation is just driving me absolutely insane... I haven't slept a single wink all night. I'm just sitting here waiting for the chaos on the news cycle to die down a little bit—hoping things settle enough for me to finally catch some much-needed shut-eye...😠😠😠😠
It’s honestly driving me up the wall: 1. A fever of 104!!! 2. This incredibly annoying rash I just noticed—it’s slightly red, too 3. These swelling streaaaaaaaams on my skin that look almost inflamed 4. Total, utter chaaaaaaaaos! 5. And the insomniaaaaaaaaaa I feel like I should just check myself into a hospital somewhere... this is an absolute disaster!
I am honestly reaching my breaking point with Photobucket... I spend all this time meticulously cropping my photos—really getting the framing just right—and then when I try to upload them here, they look completely uncropped! It’s as if the site just ignores my edits entirely, even though it insists the changes were applied... it is just so incredibly frustrating. 😠

Mine has always been that way—I know she doesn't mean any harm, truly, but the constant repetition just wears you down until you're completely exhausted...
Alexander Jackson142 said:or maybe it's my mother-in-law 🤣 ever since I first found out I was pregnant, she's been telling me to massage my nipples—claiming she had terrible pain with her first baby, but with the second one, she did this from the start and everything was fine... she even told my husband I had to do it 😂I can't even begin to describe the look on his face😂
Hehe... unfortunately, my mother-in-law has already passed away... she was actually wonderful and we got along so well, but still...
Sean Long4 said:It honestly drives me up the wall when I’m working at the clinic. You get these guys coming in to pick up their lab results, and then the nurse will clearly announce, "Pregnant patients, please head to window three; everyone else, please use window two." Immediately, you’ll have two or three people who suddenly think they’re experts on queue management, stepping right in front of everyone else to cut the line at window three. It's such an unnecessary headache.
It’s the same type of people you see on the subway—those ones who refuse to move an inch even when they see someone struggling with a heavy bag or trying to squeeze through a crowded car. They see you're stuck, they see you can't get past, and yet they won't budge for anything in this world.
Oh, honey... they truly believe that shifting an inch is more taxing for them than it is for us to squeeze through a tiny gap of free space... 😂 I have to admit, I’ve completely lost my respect for the elderly since becoming pregnant—I am certainly not going out of my way to help them ever again!
Oh, I completely understand... the sheer volume of responsibilities can feel overwhelming, but honestly, everything is manageable if you approach it correctly. It reminds me so much of how my own mother used to lecture me—you know, those long, drawn-out talks about how once you get married, you won't be able to just wander around aimlessly anymore because there will be so many obligations to handle all by yourself (as if I wasn't already doing a mountain of work while living under her roof!). Now, she’s actually surprised at how I manage to stay on top of everything. It's almost laughable—to think that vacuuming, cooking, washing dishes, and cleaning the entire house constitutes such an impossible workload... I have plenty of time for it all. Some people simply lack the basic organizational skills, and then they have the nerve to complain so loudly about nothing.😁
Morgan Kern61 said:My female coworkers and friends are really starting to get on my nerves with comments like this:
"Wait, you're still working?!" — I've been at it for months now. I'm 27 weeks along, and I have a desk job; it's not like I'm out in the fields or hauling heavy sacks of potatoes...
"Why haven't you gone on maternity leave yet?" — Well, I haven't even dealt with morning sickness, so...
"You should just rest, you'll need the energy".... I suppose I should just sleep all day to build up a reserve for when the baby actually arrives.
And then there are those who already have kids and give me that "it's such a beautiful thing" nonsense. It’s exhausting.
Add to that the fact that I can barely turn over in bed at night,
and my already low tolerance for stupidity is becoming non-existent.😂
Haha... too true. The absolute worst part is definitely that "get some sleep now while you can" advice. As if I can somehow stockpile stamina for a rainy day... apparently, I should just hibernate like Sleeping Beauty until the labor starts.🙄 And let's be real—that kind of unsolicited advice usually comes from people who don't even have children themselves.
Olivia Miller2 said:hell no... if it's bothering me, I'll just move.... but I shouldn't have smoke drifting into my apartment... if you're gonna smoke, just do it inside, don't smoke by the window (since there's no balcony there) and annoy the neighbors who don't even smoke in their own place... do whatever you want, honestly, I don't care, but when the smoke is forced into my place, yeah, I'm gonna lose it. btw, I'm an ex-smoker, so yeah, it bugs me, and no, I never smoked inside my place....
it's gross... straight up in your nose... and you know how bad that smoke smells in an apartment where nobody even smokes...
I completely understand—neither my husband nor I smoke. I have never been a smoker myself, and he actually managed to quit about three and a half years ago...
Olivia Miller2 said:Some jerk is smoking right outside my window, and of course, the smoke drifts straight into my apartment. I’m sitting right in the corner by the glass, so it’s hitting me full force in the face... I can't even figure out who it is no matter how much I lean out to look. I don't know if it's someone on the street or just a neighbor next door! Honestly, my stomach is getting big enough now that I could probably lean out my top-floor window and act like a total hormonal pregnant lady screaming at them through the glass. Like, who smokes like that?! It feels like they're just ignoring me, though, because this happens every single night!!! 😠😠😠
Ugh, oh man... I totally feel for you. It’s the exact same thing in my apartment in Chicago... every night around midnight, I get hit with this stench of cigarette smoke like someone is standing right in front of my window, and I'm on the 6th floor!!
It honestly drives me up the wall—this ridiculous gas roll I’m stuck using—where I simply cannot rise dough properly. I had this lovely vision of baking some homemade crescent rolls filled with Nutella or something equally indulgent...
Honestly, it really gets under my skin when my husband and his sister sit around making plans without even glancing my way—as if I’m some five-year-old child whose opinion doesn't carry any weight in this house. It’s a pattern, too; we had a similar fallout regarding the wedding arrangements, though I eventually managed to hold my ground and get my way in the end. But today? Today, I plan on making sure he actually hears me. He came to bed last night all affectionate, kissing me and acting as if nothing was wrong—which, frankly, felt a bit dismissive of the tension between us—but I’m hoping we can actually address the issue today.🙂
Haha... so, you basically have to renounce every single sacrament before you can officially declare yourself an atheist? That seems a bit much, doesn't it? 😂😂😂😂 Honestly, I’ve just reached my breaking point—I am completely done. Now, my sister-in-law is blowing up my phone with texts asking, "What was your mother's name again?" and all that. I told my husband quite clearly that since they decided to make these arrangements behind my back, they should be more than capable of handling the details themselves without my input. I even pointed out that on the official paperwork, I listed my father instead of my mother, and then gave her my mom's name just to get her off my back. As for any other questions, she can go ask her own brother—I certainly don't have the extra cash sitting in my checking account to fund a continuous text conversation. Just leave me alone. No one bothered to ask if I even agreed to this whole thing, yet now I’m expecting a barrage of calls every few minutes. Just tell me what happened when you hear... I really couldn't care less at this point. 😠😠
My blood pressure is absolutely skyrocketing right now... please excuse my language because I truly do try to maintain a level of decorum, but honestly—what on earth am I even doing here if my opinion doesn't matter at all!?!?! So, my husband and I had already made plans that when we head into Chicago, we’ll visit the census bureau together—since, you know, we have to register there as our official residence. But then, out of nowhere, my sister-in-law calls up claiming she’s going to handle the registration for us. Now, instead of explaining herself, my husband just keeps badgering me for my Social Security number—not even giving me a reason why! When I asked him point-blank, he just repeats, "Just give me the number..." Honestly, I couldn't care less if she fills something out wrong or if some government agency audits it later, but surely there should be some basic respect—shouldn't I be consulted if I actually consent to this?? Or am I just being unreasonable? It’s the same pattern, really. After the wedding, they decided they were going to buy all new carpets for the apartment, and they just announced it to me like an afterthought: "We're buying new carpets, you coming?" Please... I’m the one who’s going to be living in this place! Once she gets her first paycheck, she’ll pack up and move out, leaving me stuck in an apartment decorated entirely to someone else's taste!! And now, as if it weren't enough, he's actually acting angry with me because he thinks I'm getting worked up over nothing.
I was just sitting here reading over the new one-time payment amounts released by the City of Zion... $600 and get this—they’re splitting the first child benefit into just two installments throughout the year!! It is an absolute disgrace!! They keep piling new costs onto our shoulders—it feels like there's a new fee every single week—yet they keep slashing our benefits!! And then people have the nerve to claim we don't want children; it's no wonder the country is struggling under its own weight! Honestly, it feels like they're just pinching pennies when it comes to kids. Meanwhile, we're out here working ourselves to the bone, yet those politicians live like royalty—paying for luxury travel and fancy retreats while they pocket our hard-earned money to buy massive estates! It's just ridiculous...
On the day I was actually expecting my period to start, the Gravignost Duo test showed me a much fainter line compared to the control line—it was almost underwhelming, if you can believe it—but then, just a couple of days later, both lines had deepened to the exact same intensity.
Hannah Lewis2 said:Amazon???? So what, is it supposed to be Muslim or something??? Honestly, those people are out of their minds. Even if it is, who cares? If you guys actually like it, I don't see any reason why you'd bother changing it. 🤦 People allow all sorts of weird stuff these days. The name is gorgeous! Personally, I think Amazon sounds better than Franka, but both are 👍.
Una is such a lovely name... short, clear, and sweet.. I am actually dealing with a very similar headache regarding my own parents... they aren't fond of the name Matthew for my son.. apparently, they worry about how people will pronounce that 'w' at the end.. they claim it sounds silly when I call out, "Come here, Matt-hew," while I argue that it's much more sensible to just go with Peter, Mario, Dario, Philip, or any other classic choice.. so, I told them plainly—if they can't get behind it, they don't have to call him, and they have four and a half months to get used to it.. well, they called me a few days ago to say the name is actually fine after all, but then they started questioning Thomas... I mean, seriously!! 🙂
Honestly, some people are just absolute idiots... it’s become pretty obvious to me lately—and I’m only, what, 19 or so?—that if someone talked to me like that, I’d have a few choice words ready to fire right back at them. 😁 I have to vent, though, because I’ve been so incredibly on edge lately due to these sudden, sharp pains down there—you know exactly where I mean 😍—and today was the final straw. I was in the restroom, and when I wiped, there was blood on the paper... then more... it looked like I was bleeding out. On top of that, my stomach has been cramping and aching all day long. I genuinely panicked thinking something was seriously wrong with me, only to realize it was just one of those damn veins acting up again. Those freaking veins! They really had me spooked for a second...
I was honestly feeling quite frazzled by this—I had such an incredibly sore throat yesterday that I couldn't even manage a bite of food, you know? It was quite distressing. I didn't have a fever, and when my doctor listened to my lungs, everything sounded perfectly clear—no wheezing or anything that would suggest a standard common cold... but, given that I am currently pregnant, she wanted to be extra cautious. She sent me off for blood work and a urine sample, and sure enough, my white cell count and red cell count were through the roof, along with a few other markers being a bit low (I can't recall the exact specifics, to be honest). It turned out to be some sort of bacterial infection. My doctor prescribed some Augmentin, and well, after just three doses—taking one every twelve hours, after a quick and rather frantic call to my OB-GYN—I feel absolutely wonderful. The pain is gone, the inflammation has subsided, and I’m back to feeling like myself again. My doctor emphasized that if I hadn't come in immediately, things could have taken a much darker turn—she even mentioned the risk of a kidney infection. Please, seriously, go see a doctor if you feel off. I tried the whole "natural remedy" route for four days—lots of oranges, lemons, honey, garlic, and plenty of homemade chicken soup—but nothing seemed to touch it...
