That final point actually brought me to tears. It felt as if I had written it myself 🙂 absolutely beautifully!
Ethan Hughes39 said:I didn't quite follow you, Kate Phillips47... regarding the illness, yeah, it's probably gonorrhea, but what am I supposed to do while waiting for the tests? I have no idea how an ER can help me right now.

Not to mention I don't have supplemental insurance, so this is likely going to be incredibly expensive. 🤦

Do you think even just taking some ibuprofen would help with the pain? And how long does this discharge last... it's honestly disgusting, I know. 🙂

I'm not sure what there is to misunderstand here. 🙂 You go to the ER, tell them your genitals are hurting and it burns when you pee, and ask for an exam and some pain relief. You don't need extra insurance for that.
You probably could have managed the pain already if you had just gone to the emergency room.

If you had a toothache in the middle of the night, I assume you'd remember to head to an urgent care dental clinic. Is genital pain and discharge somehow too unthinkable for the ER?
Why not head to the ER and ask them for some pain management? If you just explain what's going on, I'm sure they'll be able to help ease the discomfort.

I can vouch for that. I've mentioned it before—we picked up a cake and some pastries from Mus, and everything was gone in an instant. We barely had a pound of sweets left to bring back to the office. Everyone was raving about them; usually, I’m a skeptic when a crowd starts praising something, but this time, the evidence was undeniable. 🤣

Cienna was actually quite lovely!

Larry Howard4 said:I don't know, maybe one or two of the desserts look a little light. I think we were aiming for somewhere around half a pound per person, but honestly, my memory's a bit fuzzy on the specifics.
Since we grabbed a few extra items anyway, those cakes should end up filling out the spread just fine.

I agree. I believe we allocated about a third of a pound per guest from Musk's catering. Personally, I enjoy sampling sweets, but I rarely find myself eating more than one pastry at a wedding.😁

mus Bakery - $333 We did three tiers for 100 guests. The bottom layer was fruit, the middle was Ferrero, and the top was vanilla parfait. They used whipped cream instead of fondant, but they smoothed it out beautifully.

To be honest, I didn't even bother picking out specific varieties for the delivery. I just told them to put together a standard wedding mix and let them decide what went inside. I figured there wasn't much way to go wrong, and I was right. There was such a wide selection, and everything tasted incredible. The only thing I actually specified was the cake flavor—which left about ten slices left over for lunch the next day. Basically, everything was devoured.

We ended up driving them over to Austin ourselves since we were already passing through.

I still find myself praising Mouse whenever anyone mentions wanting that authentic, homemade taste. Their treats never had that artificial, margarine texture, and honestly, there was barely a crumb left. I'm just waiting for a good excuse to place another order 😁

I wanted to drop a quick note to praise Musk’s bakery!

The pastries were wonderful—none of that mass-produced, industrial taste you get at the grocery store; they felt truly homemade. I paid $25 per pound, plus $33 for delivery. We ordered a cake for 100 guests, which consisted of $3.25 slices: a fruit base, a Ferrero middle layer, and a vanilla parfait top.

All I can say is that the entire cake vanished, and we had maybe two pounds of pastries left the day after the wedding. Everyone was raving about them.
