The ballad feels more beautiful, almost like it’s meant to be harder to play (even if it isn't—that's just how it sounds to us amateurs). It feels like something a virtuoso would perform, keeping you hooked like you're watching a movie... those little pauses can be a bit frustrating sometimes, but they really build up the suspense...

I know you meant without the tape... which is why I’m honestly surprised anyone still uses scotch tape without a dispenser, especially at work.

I know it’s a challenge, but try to stay calm if you can.
Nobody ever gave your grandma a hard time about how she squeezes a tube... meanwhile, I’m getting roasted just for using a squeeze bottle for my mayo. 🕺

Honestly, AliExpress is an addiction. I end up buying all sorts of random junk there.😁 But it's that specific kind of junk you can't find here in the States that actually turns out to be super useful.

You know what? If he’s actually a 6, I’m going to lose it. He’s out here acting like he's ugly when he's really just playing games.
Gonna go grab some fresh air and relax for a bit after all this. 😁
Drew Ross2 said:I totally misread you. It’s clearly zero, and I'm feeling pretty drained in other ways today too. 😁 plus I've been stuck outside all day, just hanging in the yard and stuff.
Well, good for you. If those dark circles under your eyes are just from being worn out, maybe some downtime, a hot bath, or something similar would do you some good. 👍
It’d be pretty interesting to see how you all stack up against the poll results. 🍿
That side topic you mentioned reminds me of that Amazon flash sale from last month. No way I'm chasing that. ☕
I only managed to catch Sylar while he was out of his usual routine. Honestly, an 8 would suit him, and he'd definitely pull off a shaved head. My only gripe is that he gives off those wild cat or puma vibes, which isn't really my thing.
It’s a heavy feeling. At first, it just sucks because you can't wrap your head around the fact that a long-time friend is walking away—and I mean a true best friend, the kind who only confides in me and goes on all those trips with me... but eventually, you just come to terms with it.
One thing I've noticed about myself lately is just how little drive I have for socializing. Honestly, I love that I don't feel pressured to grab coffee with someone every couple of weeks. 🤦
Back when I used to go out for coffee—which usually meant a long stroll through town and two to four hours of chatting—I actually enjoyed it. It wasn't like I was being a grouch or anything... it's just that now, I really don't feel like getting ready and heading out. I've genuinely thrived in my own company these last few years; I haven't missed the social scene at all.
I truly love my solo time: reading, movies, skincare, working out, good food, shopping.
On the flip side, it isn't great for my future. You need people you can lean on, and right now, I'm not even looking for a partner. 🤦
You know that feeling when a long-time, close friend decides they're done with you? You can see them pulling away for a while, sensing things just aren't the same anymore... And then, even though you both know it's over, they actually agree to grab coffee or catch a movie one last time. You don't bring up the tension during the hangout, so you just talk normally—though they’re pretty quiet. But during that final coffee, the way they look at you is just... different. It was so uncomfortable seeing that expression that I found myself wondering why they even showed up if they didn't want to be friends anymore. I didn't say anything, though. And they didn't complain about anything either.
It’s happened to me twice now. Twice with different friends. The look was identical. The first time was back in high school, and the second was maybe five or six years ago. After that last coffee, we stopped talking completely. I ran into the most recent one in town a year or two later, and there it was again. That same look. It’s a terrible feeling. Every time it happens, I wonder what that look actually means. Obviously, it's negative, but I want to know the specifics. Is it an "I can't stand looking at you" look? Or more like an "you're driving me crazy" vibe? Something else entirely?
I'm not sure if the reasons behind the fallout matter. For the high school friend, she told me after one summer that she had changed so much, and I could tell immediately how she treated me differently. She had a whole new crowd, too.
The friend in her thirties was someone I’d known my entire life. She started nitpicking my lateness—she's definitely the type who loses it over people being late. One time, I was running late for a show at the theater, and she wouldn't even talk to me when I arrived; she was absolutely livid. But that was already near the end of our friendship. I think she mostly held it against me for not grabbing coffee with her when she was going through a breakup and really needed to vent. If I had known that was the reason, I would have been there in a heartbeat.
Maybe some of you have experienced this during a breakup with a partner. Honestly, that look felt even worse than the actual breakup itself. 🤦 I tried searching online for "that look," but nothing came up. I can't quite describe it perfectly, but since two different people gave me the exact same "final look," I assume it's a universal thing and you'll know exactly what I mean. Edit: I’d say it’s similar to the look of pure contempt.
So, what I really want to ask is: Have you ever dealt with this? And what is the person thinking when they look at you like that? I assume they're thinking, "I don't want to be around you anymore, but here we are."

The issue is that it isn't quite as effective if you start taking it before the allergy symptoms hit; it's different if you wait until the more severe symptoms have already developed.

I also think Vedrana Pribičević is overweight, but that's not the whole story. It doesn't define her, and honestly, weight isn't the deciding factor in whether you want to hang out with someone or how much you respect them.
Same goes for Butković and Bag.
Personally, I'd be happy to grab a drink with any of them, though I'm a bit worried they might not want me in their circle.🤣
wanderingcanyon61 said:That’s easy enough 🙂 But honestly, how beautiful do you think you are? That’s the real poll right there. 🙂🤣
haha
Seriously though, these polls are great—perfect for us low-key analytical types. 😁
The world belongs to the youth, so let them handle the "rate my looks from 1 to 10" stuff. Once I hit 40, I'm done playing those games. 🥳 Truth be told, I never really knew what my number was anyway. 😁
