jadecobra55 said:Out of all the mindless nonsense I deal with online, one comment really stung: "So, you've put on some weight, huh?" (As if gaining three pounds in five months is some kind of crime) 🤣 Yeah, no kidding! Of course I’ve gained weight—my stomach is literally growing. Like, what do people expect? Do they think a pregnant woman stays physically identical throughout the entire process???

😁 Ugh, tell me about it! It's like everyone thinks we should just starve ourselves to stay the same shape, except for the bump. Apparently, you're allowed to grow a stomach, just don't dare gain any actual weight anywhere else.
It’s honestly such a relief to realize that with this second pregnancy, I’m not reliving all those old traumas from the constant, repetitive questions. This time around, I'm just not letting them get to me... 😁 nor am I worrying about people
I’m strictly focused on myself—like, how much I can't wait to roll the baby around in that new Maclaren stroller while the big brother cruises along behind in his Lascal😍
Honestly, I just don't give a damn about anything else right now. It's that simple.
My mom's package just showed up at her place (it's in her name, but it's actually mine). She’s stuck in the hospital right now. How am I supposed to grab this thing if I can't deal with a power of attorney situation at the moment? Someone help, this is urgent!
There's no way they'll let me pick up her mail without her ID. 🤷
Maybe your girl is just totally burnt out from all the old-school teasing and playing around, so she’s just not feeling it anymore. Some women are just way too serious and don't get the joke. Our sense of humor just isn't on the same wavelength.
You guys have to see what this patient just sent me 🙄
I'm not even gonna get worked up over it, I'm way too hungry 😁 I've got some veggie soup and bolognese waiting for me 😬>
I’m actually losing my mind over how superstitious people can be... Apparently, you aren't allowed to prep anything for a baby shower or guests ahead of time because "you don't know if everything will go smoothly." So what? If I don't reserve my 5 lbs of premium deli meat now, it’s just going to vanish into thin air once the baby arrives. I have to order it in advance!
Ugh, I am seriously fuming right now 😠

To him, I look like a single woman because I do everything—the shopping, the chores, all of it. He’s nowhere to be found. On Sundays, he sleeps like royalty until 1 or 2 in the afternoon.
I’m going to start demanding more from him. Especially now that I’m starting to look like a retiree myself. Tonight, I’m officially booking some massages.

princess😂 😂just wait until the baby arrives, then things will get lively
He sleeps like a rock, but he'll probably just roll over while I pass out because I am such a heavy sleeper. I already told him I'm just gonna plop the baby right on his chest so she can nurse there instead.🤣🤣
The other day, he couldn't even figure out how to set up a crib canopy. He totally lost it, gave up, and went to watch a game on TV, so I just put the whole thing together in five minutes. It was hilarious watching him try to process how I nailed it so fast... guess Mom's just gonna have to make sure everything is perfect for the little one.

and I know I'm putting on weight—not just the standard pregnancy stuff, but way more than that... but whatever, everyone keeps telling me it's just an excuse and that I can eat whatever I want since I'll lose it after the baby is born. Whatever. I actually really want to get back in shape once this is over, but right now? I'm losing my mind. Between the baby and these cravings, I'm just eating everything in sight. I don't even regret the food itself, I just feel like a total loser when I catch myself raiding the pantry at 1 AM because some primal urge hit me and suddenly I need to eat 😁
It’s so annoying, I could seriously devour an entire elephant at any hour of the day or NIGHT. And not just one, maybe two! 🤣

Same here. As soon as I open my eyes, I need food immediately, and then I start panicking if there isn't anything in the kitchen. Then it hits me around 8 PM and if I don't have exactly what I'm craving, I just end up pissed off.
Sarah Johnson7 said:the same thing !!!! That double chin drives me crazy. It just started showing up in photos out of nowhere, and of course, my husband decided this was the perfect time to start taking pictures like crazy. Just what I needed—to document my absolute heaviest phase.

Then today, my esthetician totally rubbed me the wrong way. She kept making comments about how puffy and swollen I look, as if I haven't noticed! I'm not blind, lady!!!!

My mother-in-law does this to me constantly—"Your ankles are so swollen..." and "It's been three months already..." and "Wow, your belly is huge, seriously, your stomach is just massive..." When she starts up, I just completely tune her out... and then I still have to act like everything is fine when we go to family dinners.😕
Now that I've only got 11 days left, I don't want to see anyone. Everyone is just going to harp on about it—how swollen I am, how heavy I look, how much I'm struggling, asking why I don't prop my feet up, why I won't go lie down, why this and why that.
Jacob Castillo60 said:Well, I came to the realization yesterday that my belly button has completely disappeared, and my boyfriend is coming over later!🤷

And then I spent yesterday reading all these articles about how reporters are speculating whether Šuputica might be pregnant, though she’s already issued her response saying she hasn't put on any weight at all!

haha maybe she is actually pregnant because I saw her out shopping for maternity clothes with a friend who's expecting. Honestly, you know how it goes—once one friend gets pregnant, the other one is usually right on their heels. It's just how it works.
Kenneth Gray10 said:Ha, ha, ha... there goes the neighborhood. I mean, my belly button has always been prominent, and yet, here I am, carrying my third girl... so much for those old wives' tales!! On a side note, I find it incredibly grating when people start asking me about my due date or—even worse—unceremoniously patting my stomach as if I’ve been sitting around waiting for the physical contact. And don't even get me started on the elderly ladies at the grocery store; they’re the type who wouldn't dream of letting a pregnant woman cut in line, yet for some reason, they let me skip ahead without a second thought. Honestly, kudos to the younger moms and even the dads for being respectful enough to let us go first!

I literally tell them I know tons of women carrying girls who have popped belly buttons too, but they never believe me. Like, what am I even making up? 😵
But they're all smiles after that....

Right now I look like a total whale, just swollen everywhere—my face, my nose, my lips... ugh, and a double chin in every single photo. I've never had one in my life.
honestly those babies are hilarious—just like walking ultrasound machines
you should’ve just opened a sportsbook and cashed in on all those guesses 😁

I’m honestly driving myself crazy. I have a mountain of stuff to do for the nursery, but I can’t get anything done without taking like a hundred breaks. I need to step outside for air, I can’t even bend over without feeling it... everything is just exhausting and my energy is
Basically, by the time I’m five months along with the next one, everything will be ready. This pregnancy is a total slog, and then my husband has the nerve to ask when I’m finally going to finish cleaning, while I’m sitting here losing my mind because I can’t do it all alone
And back when I actually wanted to buy the furniture and get things organized, it was always "we don't have the cash right now," or "just wait," or "what's the rush? we still have time"😠
This sucks. I definitely didn't picture things ending up like this😢
I had to laugh watching those ladies patting each other on the back, acting like they were geniuses for "guessing" it was a boy just because of the shape of the belly button
And then they start grilling you about how much weight you dropped, right? Like, "How much more do you have to lose just to get back to where you started?"
I’ve got a bad feeling I’m gonna be hearing that exact same thing.
Yeah, everyone was busy working the fields or doing manual labor; nobody had the chance to go to college or even live in a major city... if you can believe that.
It’s just those old ladies who never actually lived in a city trying to lecture everyone else on how life works.🤣
Emily Rogers75 said:Since I live way out in the sticks, I actually have to trek into the city for stuff. Usually, I'm pretty quiet and just take whatever people throw at me... I basically just suck it up. 🙄 It drives me absolutely insane, especially now that I'm pregnant... but I can't help being this way. 🙄 🤷 🙂

I was exactly the same before I got pregnant, but honestly, living in a place like NYC makes you lose your chill. There are so many rude people out there that life basically forces you to learn how to fight back, and you end up getting a sharp tongue—just like my mom used to say.
But I’ve been a little more mellow during this pregnancy... God, I hope my sass comes back soon!
Honestly, nothing gets under my skin faster than pregnant women who act like they aren't even carrying a human being. They’re out here smoking, drinking way too much, riding motorcycles, hitting up tanning salons, and rocking massive stilettos right up until the delivery room like, "Oh, this isn't happening." Then they wait until the last second to take off their jewelry and wonder why the jeweler can't resize everything instantly, or they start making crazy plans about not taking the baby home in an Uber or whatever. It’s wild because there are so many women out there struggling just to conceive, yet these ones are out here gambling with it every single day!!
Ugh, I just had to vent somewhere.
I can’t even go to the grocery store anymore... I always get hit with a sudden cramp and have to just freeze right there while I wait for it to pass because I physically cannot move. It’s driving me insane... the pain is brutal, and being stuck like that in public is just humiliating. Imagine if this happened to me mid-crosswalk at a busy intersection in Chicago.😕
So, I was at Target earlier today and some lady actually apologized to me for not letting me go ahead of her because she just didn't see me... honestly, I was stunned. I've never had someone be that decent before.
I guess there's still hope for civilized people out there.👍
cosmicviper21 said:Alright, I gotta brag a little bit because I just had a major win today. So, I walk into a local CVS with my little one, who was absolutely parched, and I grab just two quick things from the aisle. But when I get to the checkout line, I see 😲 this massive, never-ending line 😢 and honestly, part of me just wanted to drop everything and bail right then and there. But you know how it goes, some stubborn part of my brain wouldn't let it go. 😁 So, I end up walking straight up to the cashier and telling her, "Look, I can't wait, I've only got these two items," and she was an absolute legend—she just took them without missing a beat, and not a single person in that line even dared to say a word. 😁

Exactly! Some lady tried to block me (she didn't say anything, but I could feel her judging me hard), but then this sweet older woman who looked twice her age stepped in and let me through. It totally embarrassed her, so... I hope so!
