So, this thread got kicked from the Parenting section over to Miscellaneous because apparently it’s just "chatting," and we can supposedly keep talking on the "old boards"... but look, this isn't just mindless small talk, it's a survival guide for exchanging real-world experience twin mom life... I mean, let's be real: I doubt some lady with just one kid is going to have any clue how to handle things like getting both babies to sleep at the exact same time, or keeping them both entertained simultaneously, or pretty much anything else involving double trouble
I honestly don't get why they're trying to shut us down like this, and I bet other twin moms out there are feeling the exact same way!
Plus, if we move to the general catch-all section, how are expectant moms even supposed to find us?

Best,
I’m seriously losing my mind here—my stomach feels like it’s been ripped wide open, and I am slathering on ointment like there's no tomorrow!!! 😢

And don't even get me started on this hip bone that's decided to seize up on me. Every single step I take sounds like a damn clicking noise. I can't even stretch properly to get that satisfying pop just to make the clicking stop, it's driving me absolutely insane!! 😠
Or just go read Teen Vogue!! 🤣

sorry, I just had to!!
Edward Rodriguez4 said:So I went to the local Red Cross clinic today for my last blood donation, and let me tell you, the woman working there absolutely butchered me... it was like she was skinning a deer or something! And honestly, how much blood do they really need? I’m telling you, they just sell it all off later—probably straight to some butcher shop to make blood sausages or whatever. Absolute scum! Plus, why does it hurt so damn much when they hit a vein?! Honestly, I’d rather have them just go straight for the jugular; at least then they might actually hit something instead of this mess... and then she has the nerve to comment, "Oh, your veins are so deep!!" Yeah, well, thanks for noticing! 🙄
Should I ask her to use a shallower needle next time???☕

Same thing happened to me... except she basically shredded my left arm first. She couldn't find a vein to save her life, then had the audacity to say, "Let's try the right arm instead. Your left vein is too deep and your skin is way too soft!" Like, excuse me?? WTF??? I ended up walking out of there looking like I’d just survived a street fight with bandages wrapped around both arms. 😠
Here’s what really gets under my skin: my husband and I have pets—specifically African crested geckos—and every single time we see someone, there’s always some busybody asking when we’re finally gonna get rid of them..
I honestly don't even know how to explain it, but I am so allergic to that kind of mindset. It’s like they think animals are just pieces of furniture you can toss out the second you get bored with them!!! 😠😠😠
But I absolutely adore them more than anything!!! 😍

And on top of that, people are constantly trying to suggest names for them. It's mostly my husband, since he’s stuck on those old-school family names that have been passed down for generations... 😠

And ETA, tell your friends to go jump in a lake or something, because I seriously cannot believe anyone would say something so insensitive to you!!
As for your husband, trust me, you are 100000000% more precious to him than any name suggestion ever could be!! 😉 😘
