And two silvers, too...
All we're missing is the gold...
I was talking specifically about this current group of guys. Up until today, bronze was the only thing they hadn't touched. Gold at the World Championships? That’s going to be out of reach for a while yet.
The Danes proved they’re a powerhouse. Hansen is playing out of his mind. Honestly, if you look at the Olympics, there are really only three teams with a shot at the podium: Denmark, America, and Spain. Everyone else is just fighting for scraps.
I wouldn't dream of writing off the Frenchman. Sure, they just suffered a total disaster, but think of it this way: sometimes a crushing defeat is exactly what a talented group needs to find their fire again. This generation still has plenty of gas left in the tank to prove people wrong.
Some people are complaining about them wearing the traditional hat 🤣
But honestly, why should we even care? They earned their success, and they should be allowed to celebrate it however they please—they’ve certainly earned the right. Personally, I just loved seeing our guys celebrating, especially that young man, I believe his name is Bičanić, who flashed the peace sign while holding up our flag right after receiving his medal.
Well, now I actually have a reason to root for Denmark! Though, if I’m being completely honest, even if teams like ours were to fall, it wouldn't really change much for us in the grand scheme of things.
To be perfectly honest, I truly don't care which side comes out on top in the championship. However, I do think it’s going to be absolutely critical that the goalkeepers for both teams stay sharp and focused. If one of them loses their concentration for even a second, it could be a total disaster for their squad.
Well, that’s that. A game we’d all rather forget, honestly. It felt like the Mexicans only had Stanić playing with any real energy; everyone else was just mediocre at best. To be fair, the Danes weren't exactly blowing anyone away either, but having Landin out there made all the difference—plus Hansen was absolutely electric. In my book, he’s the MVP of this whole tournament. Huge congrats on the title!
Honestly, I believe we can officially call this championship a success. We finally secured that one lone medal this generation has been chasing. We finally got the upper hand against the French, and at long last, Copland actually played his part. I'm feeling pretty good about it. ☕

I just realized this—and I’m basing this on maybe two, okay, three games. Meanwhile, Lazarov ended up with nothing but that top scorer title. The EHF 🙏
Now, I’m expecting to see him playing somewhere in the Asobal league in about a month. ☕
Look, I’m not saying we should just hand over the trophy, but honestly? It wouldn't hurt to finally grab that bronze medal. It's the one thing this generation of athletes is still missing from their collection.
I was actually leaning toward rooting for Dance, mostly because they seem a lot weaker than they did last year. But then you have those fanatic Mexicans coming in with their massive crowd support—they'll probably have the judges and everyone else in their corner, too, which is going to make things pretty miserable for our guys. And honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if things get ugly off the field as well.
It seems like their hooligans have made a real habit out of picking fights with fans from other National Teams. They love to swagger around later, showing off stolen flags and banners like they actually accomplished something. Honestly, gentlemen, let’s be real: when they aren't hiding behind a mob, they're weaker than a grain of sand. 🙄
There’s really nothing to complain about. Honestly, our guys are the ones at fault for letting things get to this point in the first place. But hey, it doesn't even matter; this was all just a warm-up for the ultimate goal—the Olympics ☕
