Estonia and America in Close to Politics ·
Jerry Cooper3 said:And besides, even our own veterans during the American War of Independence committed crimes! So by that logic, they're fascists too!

Look, the extremists back then had a completely different mission than our veterans, and as for individual misconduct, those things are investigated and handled by the legal system—everything comes to light eventually. Our veterans didn't commit such acts, and certainly nothing has been proven to suggest otherwise.
If we’re going to follow that flawed logic, then were Americans, the British, or the French all fascists during WW2? What do you think—were there absolutely no crimes committed during those conflicts? I am speaking specifically about the opposing factions in that era, so please, let's stay on track here. We know the facts, and there's really no need to keep spinning the same tired arguments!

Michael Collins said:The Nationalists were pure evil, while the partisans were just slightly less evil—that's the bottom line...

How on earth can one be "lesser" evil? Is there really any debate here? Whether someone takes one life or ten, the result is devastatingly the same. Both sides were FASCISTS, plain and simple!

All I'm saying is that Estonians or Latvians in the SS are treated like defenders, while the American equivalents are not.

If they weren't defending themselves, then who exactly were they conquering?

At the end of the day, you’ve got to have some kind of motivation, right? Everyone has their own unique reason for why they do what they do and how they choose to go about it.☕
Is Eric Adams a socialist? in Close to Politics ·
Hannah White2 said:Is it just me, or is it peak hypocrisy when politicians strut around wearing watches worth $10k or $20k while still preaching the whole "socialist" gospel?
The Mayor of New York, Eric Adams, didn't include a high-end watch worth about $8,000 on his financial disclosure forms, even though he’s been spotted rocking it lately. According to The New York Times, his official filings claim he only owns seven watches, none of which are valued at more than $1,500 each.

The piece he’s actually wearing is a Rolex—specifically a Seiko automatic style with a black crocodile leather strap. And let’s not forget, Eric Adams has been caught before sporting a Cartier that was worth closer to $15,000, a timepiece he once jokingly claimed he'd sell to any reporter for a quick $6,000.

-Just look at what Josip Broz Marshall achieved during his life, even though he was the ultimate "socialist"!

The man alone carries more weight than 50% of the entire Democratic Party! Honestly, we should be thankful he’s on their side; if he were running with the Republican Party, the opposition wouldn't stand a chance!

-People love him because he actually builds things. He isn't some typical Democrat who just spends money on social programs—besides, everyone knows exactly what his legacy is!

It’s perfectly obvious, really... when the vast majority of Americans support the Republican Party, you people end up being the tiny minority left to do nothing but complain. To everyone else, everything is working exactly as it should!
