🙂 It is reassuring to see others finding success with these "deviant" methods... just another "bad guy" in the books. 🤔

Speaking of brute force—don't overdo it, maybe grab a larger hammer instead (😁)—this particular device has proven itself an excellent solution for me. The primary advantage is that you don't even need a computer to perform the cloning. Furthermore, it provides sufficient cooling for the drives, which is vital if you're facing a long haul while attempting to recover data that has been deleted or formatted.

Even setting that aside, it is a piece of equipment that everyone should own; it’s incredibly inexpensive, and the ability to plug drives directly into a running PC as easily as a USB stick is quite convenient.

I appreciate the information...

One of you is just narcissistically parroting my own response while blindly accepting bad sectors like a drunkard; the second is hiding behind useless jargon to lecture a kid who clearly doesn't realize his Seagate is failing; and the third would actually suggest cloning a drive that is practically dead—I'm talking physically scratched by the actuator arm.

Bravo. Truly top-tier work...

🤣 Perhaps someone should actually read what you're typing... maybe then you'd grasp the reality of the situation. But unlikely.

"A dead drive isn't necessarily useless, but when you clone it onto a new one, you aren't solving the core issue. You haven't fixed the underlying mechanical failures; you've just moved them, leaving you vulnerable to the inevitable errors that follow."
Do you follow, rookie?

This is quite a handy little device to have on hand

https://www.amazon.com/external-hard-drive-enclosure/b?node=172241511

It clones drives without needing a computer involved, and honestly, it performs significantly better than those cheap docking stations ... I've relied on mine for years now.
An essential piece of kit for any serious setup.

As has already been noted—tapping on the unit is certainly not advised. It is notoriously difficult to ensure the head is actually in its "parked position," and that "head" (which isn't really one) is merely held above the platter by an air cushion.
Though, if you want to actually hear a rattle, you’d have to hit it pretty hard 😁

I suspect my recent partial ban was triggered by this particular incident...
I shared that video alleging Zelenskyy was on cocaine. A mob of trolls—who were clearly being coddled by the moderators there—attacked me, claiming I was spreading fake news. Following that outburst, I was banned and partially restricted...

Let us examine this "fake" video ourselves...

So, is this actually a deepfake...?
I present this simply so everyone can see who is truly losing their grip on reality...

.

And honestly, it could easily be an edit. Believe me, even a complete novice could pull something like this off... much like what happened before.

Piece of cake. They probably should have just edited him holding a bottle of Putin’s vodka instead.

Greetings, descendant of hers, though I would urge you to pause and reflect for a moment... we are certainly not discussing the depths of the Mariana Trench of seed production.
Arthur Flores2 tends to embellish his artistic credentials. To be fair, some of those claims aren't particularly far from the truth.
Personalities are much the same. Facts spin around like a kaleidoscope—it is a dizzying, shifting spectacle. One should not focus on the mirror itself, but rather on the hand that turns it.

fadedorca66 said:If the laptop doesn't support BIOS, specifically booting in Legacy mode, then you're at a dead end. Even if you were to install the OS on a different laptop or desktop and then move that drive back to this machine, it won't even recognize the operating system because the boot methods are fundamentally incompatible...

simply deleting files rather than performing a full installation—they would have to be virtually identical for that to actually "work." It simply doesn't function that way. 😉

One might consider copying XP onto the disk and attempting an installation that way, since I've found that merely wiping the "original disk" isn't always a reliable solution.
I'll just format it on another computer and return it in that state.
(This is a procedure I consistently recommend whenever an OS becomes "lost.")

Given the circumstances provided, if one wishes to avoid wasting time, there are plenty of perfectly decent laptops available for $67 and the problem will be resolved.
Can't boot or install Windows XP from USB or CD in IT Support ·
Try formatting the drive on a different machine entirely—make sure it is truly "clean"—and then attempt the installation with Windows XP. Let me know exactly which error message pops up.
Though, if you want my honest opinion, it would be far more sensible to just pick up a cheap, older laptop and call it a day...

🤣

Try once, just once, to grasp the relationship between cause and effect, rather than relentlessly constructing a landfill of nonsense where an alternative should be. You possess absolutely no understanding of how an eductive post can immediately resolve a dispute, yet you persist in disregarding the subreddit rules. Most importantly... this is precisely why life remains such a struggle; useful idiots like yourself exist, though here, you are merely useless, making existence more bitter for everyone else... why won't you follow the subreddit rules? I don't consider you unintelligent, so what exactly is the issue with you 😁

User said:You're embarrassing yourself again.
Fine then, tell us—what is the direction of the Earth's magnetic field, if it even has a direction?
Don't just say from the north pole to the south pole.
Because you'll just cite field lines and end up contradicting yourself.
Have you finally learned that magnetic fields have polarities?

Oh, you ignorant fool... magnetic field lines are closed loops, contained within themselves.Only those who struggle with basic concepts use the idea of magnetic poles, but unlike electrostatic fields, a magnetic field does not have polarity. You've really bungled this one, User...

One would truly have to be exceptionally dim-witted to fail to grasp this by kindergarten.

User said:Have you ever heard of the right-hand rule?
That defines the field direction, and we are talking about secondary fields resulting from current.
At least practically speaking; even then, technically, it is the direction of the field lines.

🤣 You haven't the slightest clue, User, about the right-hand rule, nor do you understand how current "flows" or the propagation of an electromagnetic wave. There is no distinction between natural or artificial magnetic fields; you are once again displaying extreme ignorance. Magnetic fields are the result of moving charges... only the Sun provides the answer for how it affects the magnetosphere. Furthermore, do not forget that besides revolution, you have the rotation of the round country to consider, lest the shape of the magnetosphere confuse you.
And then there is the best part: asking where the "magnetic poles" are... do you see how you are proving your own ignorance?

User said:And I am asking you once again: where did I ever claim that we influence the magnetic field of the round country? You haven't answered me.
You merely provided a link showing that you were the one who wrote that, not me.
Could you please provide an actual answer.
Copy my exact words and present them as a quote.>
Or perhaps you've been eating some questionable mushrooms, given how much you hallucinate while reading.

Your lack of intellect is staggering, and frankly, you're just rambling about the magnetosphere despite having absolutely no grasp of the subject.

Did I say that *you* said it? .... provide the link...

No, I did not. I asked you specifically how we influence the magnetosphere—since you seem incapable of reading with any level of comprehension. Your posts are nothing more than expressions of infantile indolence.
You are spouting nonsense regarding the magnetosphere, which is a direct result of the Earth's magnetic field, instead of discussing the coronavirus, which is evidently not a product of this planet.
What is the point of all this... other than to display your desperate need to slap the face of established facts?

Have you finally realized the sheer depth of the idiocy you are peddling?
Allow me to educate an uneducated individual: The magnetosphere is a component of the Earth's magnetic field. Period.
And it certainly won't be vanishing anytime soon, provided there is rotation and a molten core.

And then there is this...

User said:If the magnetosphere holds out for another 20 years, we can jump for joy.

😂 What kind of prophet are you... a visionary shouting from the mountaintops... you absolute clown don't see reality

* social worker

And don't even get me started on the pole reversal... 😂

User said:The magnetosphere will collapse into a zero state for a few hours or days before the poles reverse. It will essentially shut down because the poles have to flip, but the core cannot simply adjust itself without also shifting. The magnetosphere will extinguish and later reignite with opposite polarity because the laws of physics do not allow the poles to swap places through simple travel from one pole to another; for that to happen, the core would have to rotate, which is impossible due to the outer core.

You ignorant fool... only the direction of the magnetic field's action changes, shifting toward the opposite side. It is quite simple, though clearly incomprehensible to you. To think you possess such "knowledge" of physics... it is truly incredible. "I am astonished," " 😁

Best regards,

As long as they continue this charade of "saving" you, they will never actually achieve anything meaningful. At most, you can take solace in the fact that you aren't the only person lacking basic competence here.
The coronavirus alternative isn't some sanctuary for the fools who seem determined to defend it indefinitely. Try exercising some actual thought. This movement is intended to be an evolution of scientific understanding, not a refuge for ignorance.

Don't be ridiculous; you've gone and deleted that entire thread of paranoid nonsense from Mega—essentially a clone of the banned Mega1.
It was entirely unnecessary, done solely to scrub my brief observation regarding his recurring instability. Deleting his posts won't fix him; if anything, it only ensures he'll have an even harder time facing reality when it eventually hits. Stop harassing him.

And those blue posts of yours? They miss the mark completely. This isn't about you playing the madman. The simple truth is that you are fundamentally ill-equipped for the basic responsibilities of moderation.
I suggest you seek some technical assistance with fundamental concepts just so you can grasp the elementary principles of electrical engineering, which I advised you to do quite some time ago.
The coronavirus alternative isn't nonsense, but thanks to people like you and these self-appointed "mentors," it's being made to look like it is... "enough with the "intelligence" isn't it?

So, here is the situation: either stop pretending to be unhinged and actually demonstrate some competence, or don't. The choice is yours.

The final verdict on reality (subtitles)
All of them are failures; you have a fundamental issue with how you execute tasks.

🤣 honestly, have you no shame at all?

after how you handled "him" over on the coronavirus alternative thread, now you’re deleting posts just like you did previously on that Tesla discussion... it's nothing but petty insults and massive, psychotic outbursts from some incredibly rude individual. 🤣

you're scrubbing away my factual responses...

just to remind you... you're essentially a clone of that banned "Reddit user" who has a thing for strawberries... what exactly is your problem? Someone really needs to sit you down and read the community guidelines to you...
aside from being a pathetic translator, you've proven to be a desperate moderator who only acts when they see someone else doing it.
look, I am not asking you to ban him; I am simply telling you to stop deleting posts. I haven't reported him for anything truly sick or labeled him as such just yet...
if I were to write to you
"about that jerk Mark Cruz15" the way he wrote it—well, you wouldn't feel insulted any more than I would, because it wouldn't be a lie...
but with him, it's a different story. As I already told you, the man is being harassed and is merely writing about his own experience... leave him alone...

If you have an issue with me, go ahead... I won't crush you (that isn't mercy, it's just that I don't compete with nature) ... nor will I crush myself.

And let me reiterate: no friend, no foe—it's both.

When I write, there is a certain progression; I write from the hip, and my "objective is clearly visible"... it serves as a moment of self-reflection for my "opponent."
You certainly have the right to act however you see fit, exercising your dominance through your moderator status.
He is not my enemy; I don't judge based on mere style. Frankly, I couldn't care less. Everyone is entitled to their opinion; problems only arise when someone starts making definitive claims.

You can see people are enjoying themselves reading this thread... and perhaps they might even learn something... everything is interconnected with other situations in life.

To be clear, I don't view you as inferior or irresponsible, because you simply act according to your nature. You know very well how many direct, vulgar insults I've endured without you ever reacting. Yet, you were busy handing me warnings just for providing a transparent answer. That said, one can observe some progress in you.
Insults don't bother me, and I suspect they don't bother you either, given your intelligence, though perhaps you aren't quite fully developed yet... don't take that the wrong way, everything comes with time.

On the other hand, you’ll find you have much less work ahead of you (just let the "fools" entertain themselves—and yes, I am including myself in that group)...

for instance
a ridiculous barber from a small town in Ohio pops up on this thread and writes that I should send him a photo so he can show his kid what an idiot looks like,
and you immediately issue a warning for my response, which was essentially: Isn't yours enough?

Or consider this "Hawker" fellow... he’s intelligent, sure, but... he knows absolutely nothing about the subject matter. What kind of life does one lead to find it necessary to come here and blow hot air all over the topic?

Regardless... just look at cause and effect. That is how things work in my profession; at least that's how I operated. One shouldn't punish the aggressor and the victim equally... like a waitress slapping a guy because he grabbed her backside... what's the verdict there?
Both get punished...
is that not a glaringly obvious example?
A better conclusion would have been noting the risk of escalating violence... he could have actually hit her... you have no idea how these young punks wail when they finally face the consequences of justice (mind you, I'm not talking about "justice" or "the law").
You see, you won't get very far by just turning the other cheek...

Even if this is a "private" space, it is evident that you haven't upheld the forum rules. For some matters, you have discretionary power, but for others, you don't, especially since you've penalized your own members—the mods—while occasionally being surprisingly magnanimous.

In short, I am not calling for sanctions against others, nor will I protest my own warning, but do take a look at what you are deleting...
And the deletions don't phase me; I don't want anyone thinking this is a vendetta against me... I stopped caring about such things long ago.
I'm heading out again in a few days for a month or two, and the only reason I'm posting this is
so that someone intriguing—rather than someone repulsive—continues this thread, which has the potential to be a profound life lesson.

In any case, I wish you a pleasant day.

PS: I have a great deal of respect for my interlocutors; anyone with even a modicum of technical education can read between the lines of my words.... smart people never have an issue with me. 😉
PPS: Those "others"... they are the ones who truly struggle with themselves... it is quite apparent in this thread.
