You aren't just a king; you’re an emperor. 😁But honestly, you must have done something truly egregious to get banned by Zoran... In my estimation, he’s actually a quite capable moderator, or at least he certainly attempts to be. Regardless,
It is incredibly awkward to attempt to correct those flawed perspectives one inherits from their upbringing... It is a deeply difficult task. Such things leave lasting imprints and create very easy triggers.
Larry Walker24 said:RiD - No kids here, so some mods told me there's no point in me hanging out, even though I mostly just posted in the NYC student section🤣

TV - Typical, those guys don't know the first thing about Eurovision

Music - Trash moderation

Social - Lemonzoo

Nature - Bad moderation, basically they just moderate whenever they feel like being an asshole

Alternative - Lemonzoo

Men's Corner - I commented on some random forum users in the commentary thread, they didn't like it, so Deedy banned me

D&K - Lemonzoo

Betting - The mod knows my whole history on this forum and banned me because of it (kind of like that movie Minority Report where Tom Cruise gets arrested before he even commits the crime)

Tennis - The mods don't know anything about the sport

Olympics (every 4 years)

I actually had to log out just to see what I was missing😬

It's honestly wild how easily the admins hand out bans on request, even though they should actually want people posting

dick ha🤣

To be fair, I did not demand it, though they were certainly noble. I would go so far as to say they were livid.
I agree regarding the nature section... and lemonzoo has disappointed me.

1. economics - the mod is directly complicit in this deception... I only wrote in one single thread, if you can believe it—my opponents were actually warning the mod that people were insulting me, and he did absolutely nothing.
2. nature... a jealous assistant, to put it mildly (he has some peculiar habits).
3. politics - it is the usual story of untouchable young elites; I would honestly fare better under Stalin.
4. Audio and Video Tech - 😂 Good grief, I am trying to find the login for that NYC forum... the word escapes me... regardless, I must offer praise to Tiki-ja.

But I certainly have more red flags (about 50 plates worth).

It is a shame I won't be here; otherwise, I would transfer your posts... provided the moderators remained unaware.🕺
Jeremy Johnson18 said:Your idea actually isn't half bad. To be fair, people have suggested it a few times before, but for some reason, it never gained any traction.

If I remember correctly, the Spokesperson was supposed to be someone acting as a mediator—someone to address these complaints and bridge the gap between the users and the moderators. Ideally, they'd actually look out for the users for once, just for a change of pace.
In the end, Maria Barnes just used the Spokesperson idea to troll a bit; she was like a little kid who gets a new toy and loses interest five minutes later.

He keeps insisting that things need to change, but honestly, he doesn't even like the idea because then everything wouldn't be run exactly his way anymore.

I know, 😁

Having a mediator with actual veto power would certainly be beneficial under any circumstances.
As far as I can tell, you "see quite clearly"... regardless of the inquisitorial round table held by the police or the whims of the Ministry of Truth.

The title under the username isn't just there for show—king of percentages.

How many do you actually have? 😁 I personally stopped at 4 (on the money)
Jeremy Johnson18 said:Maria Barnes doesn't love it when I get too blunt, especially if what I'm saying isn't exactly what she wants to hear, and I'm clearly not great at sugarcoating things or making them sound pretty. 😁

Look, saying someone "isn't a fool" is actually quite a high compliment—it’s a classic trope from a joke, and I suspect Nice will come to my defense regarding that... 🕺 it's an unexpectedly sharp bit of wit. I could easily write much more than this. After all, who else would volunteer their labor for free, even for the sake of glory? 🙂

But truly, judging by your temperament, you possess the qualities of an excellent arbiter; people would surely find enjoyment in the dry humor of your rulings...
However, as Madam Casey Bennett would say... "Villa," you are mistaken...
And she is indeed correct, though the issue remains that I am not Villa. 😉 It is entirely futile. It is a case of a judge being sued by his own court...
Before we get ahead of ourselves. Niceconquistadorica

It serves as both a good and a bad example of exactly what Jeremy Johnson18 wrote immediately.
I suspect that big A would have been an excellent choice for this position. He possesses the necessary precision to cut through the noise, and frankly, you wouldn't be facing any dilemmas with the moderators. If anything, he’d simply become the designated scapegoat whenever someone decided to issue a condemnation.

Casey Bennett said:Where exactly in this post did I target anyone, especially you? Just please don't tell me you're reading between the lines. Because what is written is exactly what is meant, right down to the punctuation.
Jerry Robinson56, you aren't exactly providing much of a serious conversation here. I can't stand it when people insist I meant something I didn't, particularly when they take my words and twist them into something entirely different despite there being absolutely no subtext to support it.

Over and out.

I have never written anything on a mobile device before... but honestly, why should that change the fundamental nature of the discourse? I find myself being routinely banned simply for stating the truth, yet when insults are hurled directly at me, the moderators remain conspicuously silent. I occasionally let things slide, only to eventually step in and settle the matter myself, but it always feels like a struggle against mediocrity. My bite is real, or perhaps I am merely mistaken.

If you truly believe otherwise, then I suppose we have nothing further to discuss.

How interesting... I suppose I’ll only offer my response to you after your third little insinuation. It seems cheese was the only thing that could save you. Cuka Lancelot has been exonerated. 🙂

And that brings us to the most vital point of all. The issue isn't actually the rules themselves; it’s the moderator. It is their responsibility to uphold the established guidelines, yet they constantly choose to hide behind them as an excuse for their own inconsistencies.

It feels somewhat bizarre, doesn't it? Doesn't it strike you as a bit strange?

I don't bother reading between the lines; that’s a pastime for amateurs. I prefer to analyze the actual words chosen, their specific arrangement, and the subtle weight of their accentuation. It isn't strictly paraverbal communication, but it certainly comes close.
It is a deeply unsettling experience when one's own words are eventually turned back against them.

Doesn't it strike you that things are just fundamentally designed this way?

I am reading until my eyes ache. 😉

The issue isn't that you were thinking; it’s that your reasoning was fundamentally flawed. I have no intention of engaging in whatever wordplay you're attempting to hide between the lines. (There is a missing line here.)

I am being entirely serious here, though I suppose one could argue otherwise. One should aim for the absolute pinnacle of excellence; dip the tip of the arrow in honey. Something akin to a major undertaking. A

And even then, soon enough, I won't have lasted long enough.

If you see things that clearly, then I really have to wonder why I was banned under your direct supervision. 😁 It is a relentless descent from one absurdity to the next, punctuated by a constant stream of insults. I find myself perpetually attempting to instruct them on matters they have failed to grasp over years of self-important posturing—despite their unwavering conviction in their own supposed brilliance. It is quite a spectacle, isn't it? I am presented with this concentrated essence of ignorance, only for them to turn around and start banning the few people actually making sense.

It wasn't exactly an insult, mind you; your offer was quite generous in its own right. However, there simply isn't enough intellect present here to bridge the gap between that offer and the actual result.
Casey Bennett said:There shouldn't be any ambiguity here; posting on mobile, going off-topic, or diving into politics are three entirely different things, and politics carries the strictest rules on this forum for good reason.
Furthermore, we have to remember that moderators are actual human beings, not programmed machines following a rigid script; they naturally react differently depending on the individual—whether it's a regular user who slips up once in a blue moon or someone who is a habitual offender.
That is the blunt reality of it.

edit. You tacked that last paragraph onto your post after I had already finished, so I didn't quote or address it directly, even though my response covers the substance regardless of what else you might decide to add later.😁

truly
Big A.

🙂Even A. ni Salomon couldn't have handled it better. No one is particularly happy, yet no one is miserable either... the rules were followed to the letter.
On the other hand, nobody actually asked for that, though your suggestion was perfectly reasonable.
Since the accused moderator hasn't bothered to weigh in... it's a shame. It would have been quite illuminating to hear his side of the story.
I was merely commenting on the procedure itself. As for Larry Walker24, I'm unfamiliar with his specific stance on this particular issue, but whenever I've engaged with his posts elsewhere, I've always appreciated his perspective and methodology.

lonegull16 said:So now we find out there’s even some partial overlap with the music too 🤣

I don't think he missed the mark here (yet)... just a joke, of course.

You are acting quite sanctimonious... slipping in those subliminal messages. In my actual life, I have held far greater authority than you possess in this digital space, yet I never abused it. You are measuring things according to your own yardstick, as you stated. However, one must know how to measure properly... the yardstick remains the same; the issue lies solely in the breadth of the area being measured. That is where your stance begins to falter.
This indicates that you are self-aware. You realize exactly what you might be lacking...

It is entirely understandable that moderators must endure all manner of attacks, but I have almost never attacked anyone or used foul language myself—even when faced with much more vitriolic statements from my opponents. Please, do not bring up that little 🤦 icon; I find it unappealing. I have received completely nonsensical bans that could have been justified by a wide interpretation of the rules, while much harsher insults from others were deleted without any reaction, or even left standing within your own jurisdiction. I will not dwell on the absurdity of such statements or the perceived ignorance of the moderators; if you believe otherwise, the logs still exist, and I could momentarily prove any point of contention or contradiction.

Forgive the rambling, but it is part of my interpretation of the rules... specifically regarding that "gray area" mentioned previously.
In short, one should examine where the contradictions lie, even if you aren't strictly obligated to do so. Such minor adjustments lead to progress in the real world as well. And you intend to lecture Larry Walker24, do you? I suppose that is the goal of a forum, or at least it ought to be.
Casey Bennett said:Legal counsel has never actually helped anyone, unless it came directly from other moderators in a serious capacity rather than as some sort of joke.

This part in bold regarding one solitary thread makes absolutely no sense to me. 🤔
It is impossible to partition a specific topic unless that topic functions as its own sub-forum; perhaps things operated differently in the past, but I truly wouldn't know.

Write something I don't already know...
Go ask in the politics section... Cuka knows the answer, it's possible, and a very respected "sister" confirmed it herself. Before that thread's title was changed due to shifts in the political landscape, I wasn't even able to post exclusively within it...

It seems your standards are inconsistent, when they ought to be uniform... wouldn't you agree?
Thus, I wrote it out... in a somewhat casual manner... you clearly don't want to meet my more serious side. (To clarify, please do not misinterpret my intent) We are professionals here, are we not?
It isn't a matter of personality, but rather the sheer arrogance of certain "chosen ones" who simply cannot stomach being wrong. I am not judging them; after all, they are merely human beings too...
Casey Bennett
Listen, "mod" (and I mean that in every sense of the word), please allow this discussion to proceed within this thread. We’re already touching on the subject, and frankly, I don't see how it violates any actual rules
.
I have a certain respect for staff who strictly adhere to the handbook, but the fundamental issue here is when people end up in the crosshairs because of arbitrary personal whims rather than established policy... it feels like a badger in a courtroom.

Is there any possibility for a formal review or even a "jury" process?
Casey Bennett said:It’s been proven by the example of that skeptic clinging to the pdf Eurovision file that you simply can't just open any random pdf.
The partial restriction covers the entire sub-forum, and even though we thought we could grant access to a nested sub-sub-forum for those under partial restrictions, it turns out that isn't technically possible.

That doesn't mean the mods would agree to it in this instance, even if it were doable. When you give someone a mountain of chances to evolve from a spammer into a productive member, and they just toss those opportunities into the wind while shouting, "Who cares? You can't do anything to me, your warnings and restrictions don't mean a damn thing," there comes a point where the mods realize it's just not worth the headache.

I understand, but... 😁

I have no desire to ask you whether I am considered a useful member 🕺 you know what I mean...
You possess discretionary authority in accordance with Chapter Big A to grant mercy.

Initially, I was denied access to one solitary thread on the entire NYC PDF, so I remain silent on how such inversions are possible. However, as the gentleman here suggested, perhaps a month of conditional freedom—not applied to just one single thread—would suffice. If he violates the terms, shoot him without hesitation...

And in exchange, I propose a one-month ban for myself during that period 🙂 across all threads (with the exception of the Return of the Banned section)... actually, make it two months.
Larry Walker24 said:Duh, obviously, that's 29 days.

Since I put February 1st to March 1st.

It just sounds way better to say 30 days than 29.

🙂
I remarked quite some time ago that those who are truly adept at communication often utilize "relatively" inaccurate information, which they then seamlessly pivot into an accurate reality.
Grace Wood5 said:🤣 Aaaaaaaaajebemti, you don't even know it's not a leap year!!
I'm about ready to lose my mind and just go dark!! 🤣

😁 I suspect he's merely teasing since you've already cornered him, but he did specify March 1st... and if my calculations aren't failing me, that day effectively counts as the 29th—or am I mistaken? 🤔
🤣 Self-awareness is truly an invaluable asset. One would hope you didn't actually harbor any delusions regarding my inevitable misfortune, though clearly, your expectations were elsewhere.

To put it bluntly: seek more, and you shall receive far less.

In light of this, I am formally proposing to the Administration that they issue me a ban during the period when our esteemed Larry Walker24 is enjoying his freedom. That way, the sheep can count themselves, and the wolf remains satisfied.

I consider this to be a perfectly fair proposition.

Good deeds always find their way back to you twofold.
bluecyclist64 said:Why on earth are you picking on him again?
The concept of "hope" doesn't need a linguistic deep dive. In American English, hope has a specific definition that has absolutely nothing to do with ancient Greek philosophy. Honestly, it's just one person's misery feeding off another's.

Hope is useless if you don't have any luck😁

The thing is, hope isn't just about today or tomorrow; it’s something you can actually lean on.
Larry Walker24 As stated by:
If I stop hoping, I might as well stop setting a new theme every single year. Once that last bit of hope finally dies, there's really nothing left to bother with.

Good luck, though I suspect Jeremy Johnson18 has already laid everything bare for you...

It seems we are discussing some minor supplement here. Small things often carry more weight than people care to admit, though I suspect most will overlook its significance entirely.

In truth, if one looks at the etymology of the Greek word *Elpis*, it is more accurately translated as an expectation of evil or a premonition of misfortune rather than mere hope.

One does not simply hope for a positive outcome; rather, one merely prays that evil stays at bay. 🙂 Balkija, do you remember? 😉

I cannot begin to fathom why they chose to disable her. It is a recurring pattern with these types of organizations; they would much rather silence an individual than possess the integrity to admit their own stance was fundamentally flawed.

ps I am formally submitting my recommendation that Jeremy Johnson18 be considered for a position on the moderation team.

Jerry Robinson56 and I share a bond of profound sincerity. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

These public displays of friction are nothing more than a strategic deception intended to mislead our adversaries. 🙂

They fail to perceive the intense gaze shared between a Scorpio and a Sagittarius... (this is neither a jest nor a mere game).

However, it would be prudent if someone actually addressed the initiator.
My intention was precisely that—to ensure that young Modic doesn't dwell on what is already self-evident, even if it remains a mere statistical factor.
The expression of meden is superior (perhaps consider treating him as a trendsetter, given how long ago I disappointed Cuku)
so that one of the parties involved might provide an answer to Ogi's son. That is all.

The diminutives are quite something (I still possess a mug from your Kong days)

Other moderators engage in benign trolling, while certain forum members participate actively through their commentary. As for my own stance... I will admit that I may have lured the mentor, or perhaps she lured me.
Regardless, "evening is upon us," so I wish you all the best x2 😉

Mission accomplished.

My dear... if you had actually read with any degree of comprehension, you would realize I am merely holding up a mirror. An opponent will eventually destroy themselves simply by virtue of their own style. The art of winning without ever having to fight.
You have several opportunities here to guess who he is staring at when he sees his own reflection. 🤣

I have no idea what you’re drinking, but I wouldn't mind a sip myself. 😉I find myself more curious than a cat.
To be clear: there hasn't been a single post, a single thought, or even a passing notion directed against a minor. meden pointed that out to you immediately, but perhaps you are simply too full of yourself. malac is brilliant.
Back in my day, I was a moderator on an American forum.

When you can make such errors with someone who hands you several pages of fine print filled with mistakes, imagine how much you stumble when dealing with those who offer no text at all.

Speaking of stripping down... surely you aren't in the kitchen right now? 🙂

The moderators of this PDF will likely turn a blind eye to the mood, much like how a certain German woman from "down south" once lured me into a craving for Mojito plus black Bacardi... though it takes a generous splash of cherry to cut through the medicinal taste, no matter how cold it is.

you think... x2, so that’s fine; they’ll certainly remember me by my words

but regardless, the mirror has finally reflected the truth

this entire thread has exposed the true face of moderation
A little pragmatism and some basic acting skills—just enough to prove that not everyone here is a sociopath or, God forbid, a psychopath,
as some might conclude—wouldn't hurt, even if your job isn't easy.
It’s a direct reflection of reality... and frankly, it goes even deeper than that.
