Seriously, why? 😕

I have to hit refresh a bunch of times just to get the damn thing to open. 🤷

Kimberly Scott5 said:honestly, I'm just wondering how people that "refined" even act in bed.🤷

They wait for the wedding night.

And then it goes like this:

1. A kiss on the cheek (he kisses her, then she kisses him—but first, he asks permission to kiss her).

2. First, he takes off his suit jacket. Then she removes the veil. Next, he sheds the shirt. Then she takes off those fake eyelashes. Then he unbuckles his belt. She takes off her earrings. Then he pulls off his shoes. Then she takes off hers. Then he pulls off his socks. She does the same. Then he strips out of his pants. She zips out of the wedding dress. Then she asks: "May I remove your underwear?" He says, "Yes, darling." He takes them off. Then she strips down to nothing.

3. They stare into each other's eyes for half an hour. Maybe some light touching. Very sophisticated.

4. "May I proceed to fertilize you now?" he asks.
"You may," she says, spreading her legs....

Something like that, I guess... ☕

@Robert Martinez6:

honey, are you gay?

everything's pointing that way (and I just know the crowd's gonna start dogpiling me with comments now).

you're basically an elitist—kind of acting like some young prep school kid. You're too good for finger foods, I guess, because heaven forbid you get a little grease on your hands. You spend all your time listening to "classics"—honestly, I don't know a single straight guy who listens to classical music. And you look down on people on the street like they're uneducated primitives, for no real reason—like, maybe someone didn't move out of your way fast enough.

I didn't realize there was such a stigma around being... well, stupid, if that's how you're making me look. Is there some kind of over-the-counter fix or something I can just grab without seeing a doctor?

Nobody here is going to help you. Honestly, the only way out is to go see a doctor.

While you're sitting here asking for advice online, you're just losing ground. Not even kidding—get to a doctor. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, really. There are much worse things out there. ☕

James Wright87 said:That’s exactly what happens to me too. Tell me, is your blood pressure high?
If it is, I usually just knock back maybe two shots of bourbon, and after like 5 minutes, I feel better—like a whole new person. Give it a shot... 👍

I actually made a post about this over on the "low blood pressure" thread.

Honestly, I don't even know myself.

There was a time when my pressure was high (whenever my doctor checks it), but lately, it's been low.

Not sure if blood pressure runs in the family or whatever—my grandparents all had high pressure, but my mom's low.

Thanks for the advice. 👍

Amanda Ross10 said:Great description... honestly, that feeling is just the worst.

I've basically been in a coma for the last two days... just waiting for my body to give out somewhere.
My blood pressure is so low that my whole body feels heavy—sometimes it feels like I’m carrying a 200-pound weight on my back.
Yesterday afternoon, I thought I was actually gonna pass out. Barely walking, felt like I couldn't catch my breath, nauseous, dizzy... and I had to run a quick errand at the local daycare. I could barely make it back home... lasted a few hours then by evening I was fine, I guess...
For me, the absolute worst part of the day is definitely the afternoon, maybe between 3 and 6 PM...🤷

Sometimes I just break out in a cold sweat—heat, nausea, all that. And yeah, the afternoons suck the most.

Didn't sleep a wink last night either. Just tossing and turning. It's brutal.

As long as I can remember, I’ve been a human barometer.

The morning was alright—more or less—aside from a slight headache.

But now? I can barely keep my eyes open. My head is absolutely killing me. I’m exhausted, just want to sleep... feeling pretty depressed and moody too. Everything is getting on my nerves. Just irritable and anxious, I guess.

My meds: 1 mg of Xanax. My doctor told me to take maybe one or two max a day when the weather shifts.

Doesn't even help. If anything, I just feel more drowsy and lethargic.

People who know me call me the local weatherman. Before it rains, my ears start itching like crazy, or before any big front moves in, I get nosebleeds.

Can't say I've gotten used to it (though maybe I should). It’s a gross feeling. Like being drunk. Or high.

And then it lasts for a few days... totally wrecks my internal clock.

Bryan White5 said:can I just show up, get checked out, and leave? I felt pretty terrible this morning, but right now I feel okay, I guess.??

here’s some info on appendicitis...

People dealing with acute appendicitis usually complain about pain in the lower right side of the abdomen—sometimes near the belly button—along with nausea, vomiting, and occasionally frequent urination, diarrhea, or constipation. Obviously, not everyone gets all these symptoms at once, and the pain might even pop up in different spots in the gut. Some people, though it's less common, might feel it to the left of the navel, in the lower back, or above the pelvic bone. Usually, that pain isn't going anywhere—changing positions, throwing up, or having diarrhea won't really make it stop.

honestly, you should probably hit up your doctor. maybe it’s not appendicitis, but getting some tests done wouldn't hurt.
That weird, dull ache in Health ·
For appendicitis, you'll usually feel pain right around the belly button.
Other symptoms point the same way, too.

Get to the ER, fast.

Mark Grant11 said:Fine, now I’m the bad guy for even saying anything. Look, my opinion hasn't actually changed, but maybe I should've just kept my mouth shut instead of jumping into the fray. Everyone's entitled to their take, and obviously, people have all sorts of different experiences because, well, people are unpredictable. But when doctors start attacking patients like that? That's not okay. I mean, sure, the patient is always right in theory, but does that poor doctor not deserve some basic respect too? You can't meet one jerk in your life and decide the entire medical profession is trash based on that one encounter. It's always so much easier to just trash everything rather than admitting there are multiple sides to the story. And come on, have you guys seriously never run into a doctor who was actually selfless, reliable, and genuinely kind? I'm not saying we should go on a crusade to bash doctors.
Anyway, you could've shared your stories a bit more civilly without making these massive generalizations. Honestly, I should probably apply that to myself, too. 🙄 Just imagine being someone who is working their tail off to help people—just a regular, decent person who happens to be a damn good doctor—and then you hear everyone just tearing everything they do to shreds. Nobody likes feeling attacked or having their life's work dragged through the mud.

The ones who are actually human and dedicated? They're rare. I know from experience. I've seen the wars fought inside hospitals; most of them care way more about the money and their status than the actual patients.
I went to see this cardiologist—some big shot involved in politics—and he spent the whole time glued to his phone, booking meetings. He brushed me off after five minutes because he was "too busy" with his schedule. Then he tells me to come back some other morning, only for his nurse to call me the day before to say the appointment got moved again because the doc was "occupied."
Luckily, it was just routine tests. But what about those poor seniors with real heart issues who actually need help? What happens to them? They end up with a doctor who just rushes through a five-minute checkup just to grab some extra cash on the side. Yeah, you can't play both sides.
That's just one example, and honestly, there are plenty more.
They act like they're "above" us just because they can pull the strings.
And it’s pathetic how the really sick people waiting for surgery get handled. Pay up, then we'll operate. My grandma had several heart surgeries, and I saw how the whole thing played out. It was shameful.

PS: This is just how I saw things. I'm not saying every doctor is like this, but... how many of them are actually living up to the calling of helping people?

Michael Ortiz68 said:Then why don't you just switch 😕?

Because I live in this tiny town where there are only three family doctors total—and of course, every single one of them is fully booked whenever I ask to transfer. Plus, my whole family is already set up with this doctor.

My GP failed her internal medicine boards ten times!!!
She's clueless—not just dumb, but straight-up incompetent. Honestly, I have no idea how she even qualifies as a doctor.
Every little thing, she’d try to refer me to some specialist at the Mayo Clinic, because she’s too terrified to make a single move without getting a specialist's stamp of approval first.

People generally treat them like they're some "higher" class of being. Not in my book.

If you actually want to prove you're good at what you do, you have to put in the work—doesn't matter if you're a doctor, a physicist, a manager, or a professor...

What exactly makes them "superior" beings anyway?

Medical school isn't even the hardest major out there. There are plenty tougher paths.

They start asking questions, overanalyzing everything, and spiraling. That’s your window to step in, talk to them, give them the facts, and guide them through it. If you need a roadmap for this kind of stuff, check out the book "More Than Acceptance."

Honestly, thanks. Appreciate it. 👍

Give me a break—as if they’d actually spiral into thinking they failed at parenting or that being gay is somehow their fault.

But whatever, that's getting way off track.

Casey Cox69 said:Glad to hear it. You're her brother—her priority will always be your happiness. I have a close friend who is gay; unfortunately, his family found out by accident and they couldn't handle it—it's gut-wrenching to watch him deal with that kind of rejection.

I’m pretty terrified of my parents too, even though they're actually fairly liberal. But still, I'm their son—I know it would hit them hard.

But when the time comes, I have to tell them. I don't want to spend my whole life lying to them. Plus, they'd probably figure it out anyway—like, if I'm thirty or forty and still haven't brought a wife home, they'll put two and two together.

Once I've got a steady job and my life sorted out, I'll tell them. I just hope they can come around and forgive me for not giving them grandkids.🤷

Honestly, it’s just good to see there are still decent people out there—not just on this board, but in general.

About a year ago, I finally came out to my sister, and our relationship is way better now than it ever was before.

First shock? The total lack of reaction. A day or two passed... everything seemed totally normal... ☕

She’s never once used a slur during an argument, and she never even threatened to out me...

She's three years younger than me, but man, she's mature for her age... got a pretty cool sister, I guess.😍
