here’s my take:
1. You gain total freedom of movement. Where do you want to go?
2. Driving provides a sense of relaxation.
3. It fosters independence. Isn't it important to feel like you can navigate life without relying on your parents?
4. There is a genuine sense of accomplishment once you pass the test.
5. As others have noted, a driver's license is practically a prerequisite for almost any job.
Well, you strike me as an intelligent individual,
Is the issue perhaps a struggle to accept that total control is an illusion? Could you try to relax just a little? Life shouldn't be taken quite so solemnly.
One more thing: life is fleeting. Your youth will slip away before you know it. If you spend your days retreating into a corner and blaming yourself for everything, you won't truly live. It is a simple truth.
Therefore, keep your chin up and move forward with optimism. 🙂))
My advice: start a journal or a blog. Find a space where you can re-examine your perspective on the world every single day...
Read the New Testament. Study the works of Indian sages. Dive into philosophy. Reflect deeply on those specific moments in life that truly moved you...
That process is what we call self-work. You have to discover who you actually are. It is actually quite wonderful that you are dissatisfied with being superficial or living such a shallow life. However, true depth usually reveals itself only after one undergoes significant life experiences. Regardless, those who seek will find. Personally, I believe in love and the principle that good should be returned for good. That is how I choose to live.
Just stick to what you did before, because that made you feel much BETTER!

In other words, you cut ties with an old life that was clearly getting under your skin, and honestly, that's great. 🙂))) <3
I honestly burst out laughing when I read this...
Honey, that isn't an issue. It is simply the reality of living in a world full of foolish men.😁
No, jokes aside. Perhaps the issue is that you attempt to secure a commitment too quickly. You give everything away too soon. Once they feel they have fully conquered you, they flee.
Your comment about waiting until you see that a man "likes" you suggests something else. Are you perhaps projecting an air of desperation? Do they run because they feel trapped?
And then there is the matter of being intoxicated. What kind of sane man would look for a serious partner after meeting someone while drunk? You are looking for romance in all the wrong places.
If you are asking yourself what the next move should be...
then the answer is simple: tell her exactly what you just told us.
Tell her that she is digging her own grave with this ego-driven behavior. Explain that if she doesn't start working on her spirit, her kindness, and learning to accept people for who they are—rather than treating everything like a power struggle—she will end up alone.
Just say it to her.
Hey
Don't take it personally. They're just kids...
I know this is tough for you, but just remember all the amazing things waiting for you in high school.
In a few years, you'll look back and realize how silly it was to worry about such nonsense.
The truth is, you are more mature than most of them. That is the actual problem. Small-minded people are always looking for someone to vent their insecurities on.
Hang in there.😍
Ouch, I went through something very similar myself
In the end, it just resolved on its own after a few months. It was likely just a hormonal imbalance. Have you tried deep breathing exercises to help you relax?
