I've tried just about everything out there... And look, I need to clear something up right away, because some people actually think this is just a temporary thing: hemorrhoids don't just "go away" on their own. Once they reach a certain size, surgery is pretty much the only way to get rid of them—and even then, there's always a risk they'll come back. People who managed to dodge them entirely when they were tiny shouldn't really be part of this conversation...! But you *can* live with them by keeping things under control. The main goal is making sure they aren't bleeding or causing constant discomfort. I’ve managed to stay on top of mine by using various creams—mostly imported brands—and honestly, you can tell if a product works within a month of using it. In my experience, Proctolyn was one of the best, while Hadensa was pretty disappointing (and hey, I don't work for any of these companies, though I wouldn't mind the paycheck... haha!). Also, it helps to pair a cream with a vein gel—like Herbion—which basically strengthens the walls so they don't rupture. Most of those are horse chestnut-based.
And obviously, we should all share our actual experiences here, even if there's a risk people will immediately accuse you of being a corporate shill for "some other company." But honestly, who cares about that...

Some things you just learn through years of trial and error—I’ve definitely put in my time testing stuff out, and honestly, I manage the issue pretty well without needing surgery. Of course, everyone is different, which is why I shared my own experience. I even went out of my way to track down some Hadens, which isn't even available here in the States. To be blunt, it worked terribly compared to other options I've tried, so I just tossed it. It makes me wonder... why isn't this stuff even sold in America??

I'm still out here hunting for that perfect little cream...

If you can get your hands on it, try the Italian Proctolyn. I tried Hadens, but honestly—it was probably the most useless cream I've ever used—so I just tossed it. My doctor actually warned me right away, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway. Still, I think it's worth trying everything yourself; that way, you can decide what works best without having to rely solely on a doctor's opinion.

Don't you see that we're basically living on the edge here?!? Even if you somehow manage to get your life organized, there's always something else hitting us—election cycles, earthquakes, landslides, even just sports... it's enough to drive anyone crazy. (And please: I am NOT blaming the government or the state!) As for all that stuff you're shoving into your body? Honestly, even Interpol wouldn't know what's in it, because our importers are way too fast at dumping whatever junk they can find on us! And then there's everything poisoning you (every third Chinese product!) and all the radiation... You know what, it's honestly a miracle we're even still alive! All these chemicals are really just minor, secondary annoyances in the grand scheme of things...

I'm feeling pretty hypersensitive lately—just everything feels a bit much. says:

Maybe it sounds a little silly to say this after everything, but if I’ve managed to keep them under control for over 30 years—without any bleeding or major drama—then there must be something to my routine. They're still there, obviously; we deal with each other every single day, but we’ve reached a sort of peaceful coexistence! The trick is using the right cream—for me, Proctolyn feels like the best option so far (honestly, that Hadensa stuff just makes things worse!), and I pair it with an equal amount of vein gel—I'm using Herbion at the moment. The goal is twofold: first, you want zero pain, so it feels like they aren't even there, and second, you want to strengthen the walls to prevent any rupturing—well, except in extreme circumstances, of course, but... you really should take care of them! You have to stay on top of all the usual hygiene stuff too—like keeping a pack of oil wipes on hand; they aren't expensive and they last a long time!

Jack Hayes35 said:Radio frequency

Aside from the fact that this is just blatant spam—it honestly feels like a scam trying to sell us snake oil—using the term "radio frequency" basically means: I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. If we’re actually talking about radio waves at specific frequencies, then any wavelength above microwaves doesn't really do anything. And look, microwaves can cook or bake things, sure, but that's a different story altogether...

On top of that, I really wish people would learn how to talk properly about HEMO, and by extension, HEMO-roid issues. Why is the terminology shifting from one post to the next? It's probably just lazy copy-pasting, right?

And seriously, is this the kind of price they pay in Hollywood?? Or did someone forget a decimal point somewhere... Either way, ADMIN, can we get this deleted?!?

silentpuma2 said:Guys!!! Someone just told me about this... AMER tea. You can pick it up in Mexico and it costs about $13. Apparently, you're supposed to drink it regularly to reduce hemorrhoids. I even think it contains some of the same herbs found in that Pilex stuff. It’s supposedly good for urinary tract issues too, but for hemorrhoids, it's supposedly a miracle—this guy who told me about it was dealing with stage four, the absolute worst kind of hemorrhoids you can get.

Honestly, people who fall for scams like this are just being naive. Let's be real: chronic hemorrhoids CANNOT be cured by teas, ointments, creams, or any of that nonsense—that's just straight-up lies. Not even with Pilex, if we're being honest here. I mean, come on... how is a swallowed substance going to fix a "half-burst capillary"? It's just wishful thinking. If things have already gone south—if they're large and long-standing—there are really only two ways out: using ointments to stop the growth and strengthen those bumpy capillary walls so they stop bleeding, or... well, surgery.

Why do so many people get carried away with this crazy idea that hemorrhoids just go away or heal on their own?? It’s not true—or maybe it is just a tiny bit, which I honestly can't say for sure—but based on what others are writing, it seems like it might work slightly for small, new ones. But I am absolutely certain that when they're old and large, nothing works anymore, except maybe keeping them somewhat under control so they don't keep growing or bleeding. Some of these "medicines" (which aren't actually medicines, let's be real) can even cause bleeding, so you have to be careful with Pilex—on old hemorrhoids, it does about as much as a glass of water. I'm not trying to advertise Detralex here, either... it's the exact same thing.

And what happens when you take a double dose of Pilex from $200 and it actually triggers bleeding—and then the "effect" of the whole thing just drops straight down to a big, fat zero? No, $200 they aren't coming back. And man, after being symptom-free for an entire year...

Well, you're dealing with a minor issue compared to what I've faced—but don't worry, it tends to grow. Here’s my playbook: first, you absolutely have to use an ointment that includes a little local anesthetic to take the edge off the pain (there are plenty of options out there). Personally, I use an Italian version of Proctolog—honestly, it's the best thing I've ever tried. My routine goes like this: put about 7mm of ointment on some toilet paper, then add maybe 5-6mm of Vaseline or any kind of vein cream—that helps strengthen the walls so nothing ruptures—and just apply it directly to the sensitive area. After that, you need a solid, angled setup. For instance, grab a chair, lay some toilet paper over it, and sit right on the edge so the angle provides the right kind of pressure. Then, tuck everything back in! That's how I've been managing things for over two decades now... they stay on the outside, I keep them on the inside, and we move on. It rarely actually ruptures—usually, if things go wrong, it's because of stomach issues; if you end up with diarrhea, then you've got a real problem.

Well, I truly hope everything goes smoothly for her!! And honestly—I don't even know how to comment—but motherhood is just one of those things that outweighs everything else. If I had to say anything at all, it would be that you have to genuinely admire some people—and I mean *some* people—in the other gender... But let me be clear: just "some"... and maybe that's something I shouldn't even say out loud!

Bravo!! Honestly, this is a solid idea—especially when you're out and about and can't exactly just wash up! It’s less irritating and definitely cleans better. I think I'll head over to Target to grab some.

Aaron Gonzalez6 said:So, what—am I really expected to sit here and dissect every single little detail of my problems with this thing for everyone's benefit?
Honestly, this is just nonsense—if anyone actually cares about this stuff, they should just send me a private message.☕

Look, do whatever you feel comfortable doing—I really mean that. But the way I see it, people here are being totally open and just laying everything out there without any hesitation. Honestly, hearing what others have gone through can be worth its weight in gold. It’s kind of like sitting in a doctor's office—you get that perspective. But again, there's no pressure at all; we’re all different. If you'd rather just shoot me a private message instead, that's perfectly fine by me.

Seriously, what do you mean about being banned from PMs? This is a space where we’re supposed to be sharing experiences, ideas, and everything else that might make life a little easier for someone else out there!! People share what works—like how that FedEx didn't do a single thing for me, though it did help someone else.

As for food—I probably shouldn't talk about it, because honestly, I eat pretty much every delicious treat that comes my way. I don't miss a single good meal, and my only real issue is this belly that seems to lead the way everywhere I go... My routine is pretty straightforward—daily, all day long, sometimes even two days straight—it's simple. Then "they" are outside, so I just clean them up, apply some ointment, and send them back in... and we move on with our lives.

I actually tried that Hades ointment once, but—I wasn't impressed!! There's a massive difference when you use Procter & Gamble instead. (USA) I'm not sure if paying 30 bucks for four tubes is steep, but I do know that even a tiny amount goes a long way and keeps my issues at bay, especially when I supplement it with a bit of Herbalife.

And what about when I actually went out and bought that Bill stuff—you know, the double dose? It helped me about as much as an aspirin would. Not to mention it absolutely wrecked my digestion (and I had no clue why!). There was zero effect—none at all. And it costs hundreds of dollars!! It’s just outrageously expensive for something that does nothing. Plus, they never give you your money back...

Honestly, you guys are just being punished—you give everything to raise those kids, and then one day they just move on because you've become predictable or nagging... meanwhile, the issues they caused stay behind, and the men involved probably won't even realize what happened...

All jokes aside, I really need to reiterate this: even after thirty-some years, I haven't had a major flare-up. They're internal and external—basically, they're just *there*. To be honest, they usually show up right after I use the bathroom. I don't follow any crazy hygiene routine, just the basics, but I always make sure to apply something afterward—sometimes more than once. I use a decent cream (my doctor recently suggested "Hades") along with a little vein gel (like Herbalife or something similar). I'm pretty convinced this combo has kept things stable for about 15 years now. They're present, sure—but they're quiet! Bleeding is extremely rare, usually only triggered by intense physical exertion or if my stomach gets out of whack. So... we just live with it!

Hi, hi, hi... just a guy in a bad spot looking for any kind of relief! I haven't gone the extreme route yet, but honestly, if you try any decent hemorrhoid cream—you know, the higher-quality stuff—they usually have enough anesthetic in them to dull the pain pretty quickly. But for anyone dealing with something that isn't just starting out... please, just forget about those swollen capillaries ever going back to normal on their own. It’s just not happening—you're going to need some actual medical help for that.
So, after using that Italian "Proctolyn" cream, I went ahead and asked my doctor what else he might suggest for a change. He told me that Hades is actually the best option. It's also an import, but you can pick it up at any pharmacy without a prescription quite easily. Look, I'm not expecting a miracle cure here, but if things aren't getting worse, I guess that's a win in my book.

I have to disagree there... Honestly, I know exactly how mine flared up. It happened because I was sitting on this vinyl-covered chair during the peak of summer—basically sitting in a heat trap. By the time I actually realized what was happening, it was already too late. I was in my early twenties back then, barely 155 lbs at 6 feet tall, and I used to sleep whenever I could get the chance... But, to be honest, I deal with them just fine today. I’ll say it again: I always use various creams along with a little bit of vein gel! (Herbalife, etc.) It keeps everything firm enough that they behave themselves and there’s no bleeding—they just kind of exist there. Anyway, I don't dwell on it anymore, let's just move on!

Look, let's not go spreading false hope here. In 99% of cases, they stay—because, quite frankly, there just isn't a cure for this yet. If we're talking about minor issues, I don't know, but when you're dealing with the serious stuff involving bleeding? It's a different story.
