Russia's invasion of Ukraine: Part 5 in War in Ukraine ·
Linda Collins3 said:The fact that the pipeline is offline isn't the point; the message for the future is what matters.
Look at how the far right has already taken power in Italy, and people are pushing back elsewhere too.
The USA's message would be: "Not on our watch." This is about prevention.

Russ doesn't need to blow up their own pipe; they can just turn off the valve, which is exactly what they've already done.

And if the valve on the Russian side is closed, then how do you explain those "bubbles" in the Baltic Sea? How does the gas reach the site of the rupture?

Good grief, look at how much they’ve ripped us off. If it weren't for those scumbags, there wouldn't be anything left. I guess being part of a criminal organization just guarantees you a safe pass to steal everything...

Is there a single actual Republican here who didn't buy their degree in Canada? Pretty much everyone I know graduated there!

And if we're being real, most of those folks were basically Republicans anyway.

They’re trying to spin losing San Francisco as a win because they got Indianapolis! Like you said, they already had Indianapolis, but they completely blew it in San Francisco. Those two cities are basically identical in scale and impact! 🤔
My PC keeps turning itself on! in IT Support ·
As far as I know, there aren't any ghosts in my apartment, yet my PC has randomly powered itself on several times now. I just got back from a trip and the computer is already running. No one has been near the place for days, so I have no idea when it decided to "wake up"... What could be causing this, and how can I prevent these kinds of glitches? 🤔

I'm looking for a new monitor. My current Dell is hitting its 10-year mark and starting to struggle. I haven't kept up with the latest tech, so I'm asking for advice. I've been looking at this one from the link, but the specs don't mean much to me. Price is my main priority! Just kidding... but seriously, any advice would be appreciated.

Total thieves! They have their robbery schemes mapped out down to the last detail. As long as they pretend to be devout patriots, right? Get lost, you frauds!...

Good grief, they’ll probably try to arrest even Andrej Plenković just so the cops can pretend they actually care about justice and the rule of law. What a pathetic joke. Not a single person thought to make an arrest during the last term... 🤔 It's all just a desperate grab for power to secure their seats again.

Is there anything left to burn in this godforsaken wasteland? These "technocrats" in the interim administration are busy scrubbing everything in sight. Aladrović has already pilfered the funds meant for the disabled, while others just play dumb—or maybe they actually are that clueless. It’s a gathering of vultures. Go ahead, give them your vote again at the next election. I get those mindless sheep from certain echo chambers who vote 100% for ADEZE every single time. But I truly don't understand those who claim to be "principled" yet stubbornly keep voting for thieves...

Charles Brown9 said:What does that have to do with how the ballot is organized?

Andrej Plenković can put whoever he wants on those lists, including his loyalists, so he basically cleared out all the competition during the internal party elections.

You think he doesn't? I personally find it much more elegant if the FBI performs the party purge instead. It’s cleaner that way, because then it isn't his decision—it's just circumstance. But that's just my opinion...🤔
Republican Party - General Discussion in Political Scene ·
It’s officially started. We're seeing an internal party purge right before the elections—basically a scramble for spots on the candidate lists. It is quite a strange coincidence how this sudden FBI activity has cropped up. Everything seemed perfectly fine until now. The timing of this operation just happens to align perfectly with the election cycle...

and to top it all off, he’s still a member of the Republican Party

Of course. That's just how they operate. The guy fits right in...😁

He doesn't have any other choice. They were going to kick him out of the Republican Party anyway. He might as well leave "with style"...😁

nimbleranger17 said:Did anyone else catch that press conference on Fox News with person? Honestly, it was almost comical how pathetic they’ve become, just hitting rock bottom with these tactics...

So, she rolls up with those photos of person and person and basically asks, "Do you really want these people running America?"

And then, she actually goes out on a limb and claims person is a convicted criminal.😂😂

I mean, this kind of rhetoric is honestly more exhausting than a cross-country road trip through the Midwest.

At the end of the day, the Republican Party is just resorting to throwing mud at people and calling them criminals; that's really all there is to it.

If those are the best arguments the Republican Party can come up with! 🤔

Either the Republican Party leadership is incompetent, or they're terrified that Schwarzenegger is gaining too much momentum. Everyone is sitting on too much capital, yet delaying a solution is simply unacceptable...

dustymarlin10 said:You really think Americans aren't going to finally lose their minds when things hit the fan like this?

Exactly. There are plenty of other ways to establish a dictatorship; it isn't just limited to those political opportunists camping out in front of the Capitol. 😉

Charles Carter4 said:Look, I’m not saying I disagree with the logic here—that maybe we should just let them finish whatever mess they started—but like my friend was saying, letting this weak little dictator off the hook would just give him even more momentum to screw us over however he sees fit.
Do we really want that? Are we honestly okay with being locked down in our houses like we saw under Aleksandar Vučić if the virus makes a comeback this fall? Or having them bypass the US Congress like they did recently and just ignore the US Constitution entirely?

I’m telling you, I’ll be heading to the polls, and I am voting for whoever promises they won't join forces with them.☕

It won't be long before the wind dies down, too. Their end will come fast. Power is like a massive pizza (the kind you get at 😁). A group gathers around it and starts taking bites, but the "biteable" part keeps shrinking until people start fighting over the scraps. That's when things get messy. It becomes a survival of the fittest among their own ranks. As the slices disappear, people get dropped, and then the real chaos begins. Just grab some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the show. 🍿

Are these the same people demanding a new apartment from the city because their "old" one got damaged?

🤔

After thinking about it for a bit, I've decided I'm voting for the Criminal Party. Even if my hand cramps up doing it.
It's not even because I like them—far from it—it's just so they can finally choke on the massive pile of crap they've created themselves.
They handed Clinton a hot potato to clean up their mess, and he ended up owing them everything from the waterfront to the local harvest.
Biden had a similar run, dealing with all those protesters and gas canister chaos in Washington, D.C. Now they’re blaming him for the debt he took on just to pay for their looting.

Let these guys win an election, let them swallow all that garbage, and then we can sit back and watch their solo performances when they start protesting against their own kind.
Just wait until autumn hits and they're starving, facing foreclosures, or watching as public officials get their pay slashed, or entrepreneurs lose out, or heaven forbid, their own protesters see their benefits cut...

Even my colleague the fraudster will flip on them during the Johabi referendum once there's nothing left to squeeze out of them.

I agree with this word for word. I’m not exactly right-wing, but I am convinced that once in a while, you have to let the "experts" see their plan through to the end. This is the perfect opportunity. To hell with the plebs who pushed them to the edge. Therefore, a vote for the executive branch (now and moving forward).
When will the e-government portal be ready? I have a vacation home on the coast. When and under what specific conditions will the travel restrictions be lifted? I’m traveling alone to my house, driving my own car, and I’ll just be there by myself—maybe with some immediate family. The Prime Minister mentioned hotels providing confirmation for their guests. Who is going to provide that kind of documentation for someone in my situation...
