Every night at 11 PM, the internet cuts out for everyone on the network. It starts throwing these useless IP addresses, like the one shown in the image, making it impossible for anyone to reconnect. It used to be that the default gateway would just shift by one digit at the end, and everything would continue functioning without a hitch. Why has this process changed? Is there a specific diagnostic tool I can use to verify if they’ve altered the IP address, the default gateway, or some other configuration setting?

The Internet2 connection at my dorm via Ethernet was running fine until early this morning, but now it’s completely dead. Previously, I occasionally had to manually input an IP address because the DHCP would default to the wrong one
And I'd have to swap it out for this one:
which usually did the trick. Now, even that isn't working. Every troubleshooting attempt just returns a vague error stating it can't find anything. It’s likely they’ve updated the network to a different IP range, and the auto-configuration is failing to detect it. Does anyone know of a utility that can scan to see which specific IP addresses and default gateways are actually active on the network?

How do I get rid of those half-screen pop-up ads?
