This is how dads handle mealtime,

Grace Anderson3 said:Wait until they all start crying at once, because everyone wants to be fed at the exact same moment... 😬

I remember this one time I was out at a dinner party, and my dad was left alone with the twins. He tried to get one down with some food, but the other one practically scaled his leg like he was climbing a mountain.
It was pure chaos, honestly—those babies nearly tore him apart, just scrambling over him and fighting for everything they could get.

Here’s another group of four; they look absolutely precious when they start laughing, though I honestly can't wrap my head around how anyone manages to keep up with all of them.

Grace Anderson3, take a look at this, she’s the only one who gets it.

Oh man, she is just precious—I actually stumbled upon another one of those videos of babies laughing, too. 🤣

While I’m sitting here waiting for Raymond Newman2 to finally show up,
I might as well drop a little poem. 🙂

Raymond Newman2, get back here ASAP,
before I end up writing a whole damn book. 🙂 🙂

To go along with this little forum haiku,
here’s a shot I took while out on the water in Lake Tahoe. 😬

Memnon, seriously, just take a breather and step away from the forums for a bit; we'll be right here whenever you're ready to come back.
Either you stay single or you deal with a massive family that needs constant feeding, which basically turns you into a glorified houseplant. 😁
Some people just swing between extremes. They’re either glued to their screens twenty-four-seven or they’d happily throw their phones into the Hudson River and never look back. Honestly, what’s so hard about finding a little middle ground?
For anyone who feels like they've lost the plot and is spending way too much time scrolling, just set a timer for how many hours you'll be online each day and call it a day.
Personally, I only hop onto the forum once I've actually tackled my to-do list or finished whatever I felt like doing; then I'll settle in to check the stats or read something interesting.

it wasn't a screwup but rather

a total screwup 🙂

I totally misspelled "screwup" as "skovcer" instead of "skovacier."

Honestly, whenever I spot some tacky, cheap junk sitting in a shop window, I can't help but mutter, "Man, look at the quality of that trash." 😬
A total circus 😁

Cvekla Šargarepa

I’ve always had a soft spot for šargarepa and šargarepa cvekla, 😍 they really are my favorites.

I know a punch tool when I see one—it’s a legitimate tool.

Honestly, it could be either.
polyester - cheap fabric

zipper - fastener

dustpan - standard dustpan used up north

dustpan - standard dustpan used down south

Why do some people just have to put others down? in Spirituality ·
Jesse Davis said:How many times have you dealt with someone being just plain malicious toward you—you know, people who seem to have this desperate need to belittle you or provoke a reaction through lies and fabrications? To be honest, it happens to me quite frequently...
Sometimes I’ll admit, I get genuinely angry at those injustices, especially if the person acting that way ends up getting ahead while I'm left behind.
But then again, most of the time I just find myself laughing at them—it’s because I know exactly who I am and what my worth is—though, like anyone else, I still have those days where certain things just hit a little harder than they should...
What I really want to say is that if someone feels the need to tear you down, insult you, or play dirty just to reach a goal, it's usually because they are deeply unhappy with themselves and their own lives. It's particularly true for those types who try so hard to be "perfect" and please everyone; at the end of the day, they still have to go home and face their true selves, and all that hypocrisy eventually catches up to them.
What are your thoughts on all this??

You guys type so fast I can barely keep up with the thread. 😁
By the time I’ve even formulated a single thought, the conversation has already moved on to something else entirely.

Where did our original poster go?

I wouldn't say people have been outright "evil" to me, but I’ve definitely felt that sting of condescension, provocation, or people just trying to flex their power and puff themselves up.
That style of communication has always rubbed me the wrong way, and it usually leaves me feeling pretty unsettled.
When I’m dealing with people like that, I rarely handle it well in the moment; I usually just stand there totally stunned and react like image.

The anger doesn't even kick in until the next day when my brain starts replaying the whole scene like a movie, and suddenly I realize exactly what I should have said or how I should have stood my ground. I'm a bit slow on the uptake when it comes to reacting. 🤔

I find myself wondering about the motivation behind that kind of behavior.

Maybe they grew up in environments where being blunt or harsh was the norm.
Maybe they think putting someone else down is a shortcut to feeling superior.
Maybe they just lash out at anyone who won't fight back, knowing they can get away with it.
Or maybe some people just love dark humor and don't even realize they're crossing a line.

Personally, I love a good dark joke, but I’d never use that kind of humor with someone I don't know well—I'm never sure if they'll actually take it as a joke. You really need a foundation of trust before you start joking like that. Besides, there’s a time and a place for everything, and a joke isn't always appropriate.
