How many times have you dealt with someone being just plain malicious toward you—you know, people who seem to have this desperate need to belittle you or provoke a reaction through lies and fabrications? To be honest, it happens to me quite frequently...
Sometimes I’ll admit, I get genuinely angry at those injustices, especially if the person acting that way ends up getting ahead while I'm left behind.
But then again, most of the time I just find myself laughing at them—it’s because I know exactly who I am and what my worth is—though, like anyone else, I still have those days where certain things just hit a little harder than they should...
What I really want to say is that if someone feels the need to tear you down, insult you, or play dirty just to reach a goal, it's usually because they are deeply unhappy with themselves and their own lives. It's particularly true for those types who try so hard to be "perfect" and please everyone; at the end of the day, they still have to go home and face their true selves, and all that hypocrisy eventually catches up to them.
What are your thoughts on all this??

Grow up.
Once you realize that every single dog has a backside and that’s where the mess comes from, you'll finally understand why there's always going to be some diarrhea flying around.

When you truly know who you are and what you stand for, nobody can ever really drag you down.
Only people with tiny, inflated egos let themselves get humiliated like that.

Strange—I’ve been around the block a few times, yet I haven't run into a single person like that.

Part of this behavior is inherited from home.
Even back when I was just a kid, I noticed how some families treat their children that way.
They "toughen them up" by humiliating them in public. Then, for those kids, that style of communication becomes their norm, and once they grow up, they start treating others the exact same way.

The other part involves miserable people who are constantly fighting something. They compare themselves to others, they are envious, they compete, they are bitter, and they focus more on everyone else's business than their own.

I have dealt with situations like this.
For example, an acquaintance once made a malicious comment about something I had done. Something along the lines of: "You did that again," even though it had nothing to do with her.
So I asked her: "What makes you say that?" or something similar.
She immediately recoiled, started making excuses, and backed away.

In my hometown (San Francisco), there’s this massive piece of graffiti on a seawall right by the marina near Zenith. It says, "I love pussies – I hate women."

I saw two guys standing there staring at it the other day, and one turns to the other and goes, "Seriously, does it make sense? If he just likes the parts, why would he bother marrying the whole woman?"

What kind of logic are we actually dealing with here?

I think that in those moments, people aren't even conscious of themselves or what's driving them to act that way. Usually, some vague internal dissatisfaction gets projected outward; they try to trigger the same emotions in others that they are acutely or constantly feeling themselves... and the whole dynamic is masked by this sense of "being right."

It’s not that those things can truly hurt me, but they can definitely knock me out of my groove and mess up whatever I was working on before the incident. I don't like that, so I try to avoid people I know are prone to that behavior. Unfortunately, that isn't always possible, so right now I'm working on simply ignoring them and not stooping to that level... not even mentally or emotionally. This forum helps. I view it (among other things) as an excellent simulator for dealing with difficult people.

Infantile misogyny. And a total lack of care from the local city officials.

And how would you label—or how should we all label—the way the media systematically assaults, shames, and smears Dr. Jerry Mark? She’s a mother of four, a physician, a successful entrepreneur, a gifted orator, and one of the most powerful social activists in America.😉

I made sure to write "Dr. Jerry Mark" explicitly, because the mainstream media would NEVER bother to include her title like that.😉

Actually, Raspudić has written some pretty insightful pieces on this topic here https://energyspaceworks.files.wordp...pg?w=600&h=450

So, I’m glad to see that Raspudić sees things just as clearly as my own humble observations might suggest.😁

Down in downtown San Francisco, right near the Joker, there’s a huge dumpster I pass every single day that has

JERRY MARK'S HOUSE written on it.

If it had the name of any other famous public ( 😁 ) woman in America, it would be all over the news as blatant misogyny, and the authorities would have scrubbed it off in a heartbeat.

But since ideology matters more to the leftists than shaming a woman who isn't one of their own, we end up in this situation where it’s just ignored. It seems like for "progressives," the most important thing is clearly

IDEOLOGY, and then gender comes second.😉

Honestly, we should probably have a dedicated thread for how a certain political "climate" tends to cast a shadow over every era...

Back in 1938 in Germany, Hitler was actually named Person of the Year by Time magazine, and he was even lauded by thinkers like Heidegger and Jung. At the time, everything seemed to be going smoothly for the Germans...
National Socialism appeared to be the ultimate political solution because it fused two incredibly powerful concepts: socialism—the idea of looking out for one another—and the nation, which is the most natural way most people identify themselves.
Yet, in just seven short years, that entire "national climate" was wiped off the map and even its symbols were banned.

In the former America, from 1945 to 1990, the society lived under the cloud of communism, and at the time, it felt like the perfect answer to everything...
Today, however, communism has been exposed as a catastrophic delusion, both in theory and in practice.

From 1990 to 2020, we've lived through democracy, and almost everyone (well, everyone except me 😁) seems to agree it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I really find myself wondering what the United States and the rest of the West will look like in a hundred years. What will become of this democracy, and what kind of "cloud" will be hanging over our society then? 🤔

Look, I don't care about gender—I'll call out anyone, regardless of sex, if they deserve it.
Take my colleague, for example.

Personally, I couldn't care less about the Markic situation.
Though, I know some people won't see eye to eye with me on this:

I honestly don't know how many words it would take to express that Raspudić is being incredibly dense here.
God bless the idle lunatics.

I have to admit, this might be the most coherent article Raspudić has ever put together. 👍

As for everything else, I don't really have the heart to turn this into a debate about daily politics. If you're truly set on it, though, we can take this conversation somewhere else where people actually want to argue.

That's a clever one, and quite a good way to hide my identity.

In that link about Raspudić, I noticed the image ended up being about Mao Zedong.😁

This is an outstanding article by Raspudić regarding the sexual assault allegations involving Jerry Mark—it's funny how much the left-wing crowd is losing their minds over it.

As if ideology isn't the biggest thing for the right wing?!
Look, here in the US, the Democratic Party has been a major political player for decades, and I don't see the country falling apart.
What's with this constant obsession with mentioning the left, progressives, and atheists?
Do you have some kind of utopian vision in mind involving conservatives and religious folks?

I'm staying out of the commentary on American politics since I only know it superficially—but if it's anything like what we see in Mexico, then talking about leftists or socialists is just absurd.

If that’s how you feel, it honestly doesn't do you any favors. I read his pieces just like anyone else—I look for that heavy emotional undertone because that's usually where someone's true agenda starts to leak through. In his specific case (which is ironic, considering he claims to advocate for the right not to be mocked), what we're seeing is a pretty blatant spread of, well, intolerance. Personally, I have no intention of sinking to that level, regardless of which side of the political aisle someone is sitting on.

Best regards.
