Japan beats Costa Rica 2-1. Not exactly a blowout—just another day in the grind. Belgium beats Morocco 2-1. USA vs. Canada—2 to 0. Simple enough. Spain beats Germany 3-1. Typical.
Look at this scene. It's freaking creepy—you can basically see the roots of his psychopathy through Art's killer facial expressions.
It’s a minimalist cat-and-mouse movie, and they nailed the execution.
"Better to be first in a village than last in a city." More or less. ☕
Haahhah, I actually enjoyed watching that scene. Too bad the girl with the dark hair ended up being a victim too.
I honestly didn't think I'd have the stomach for the first Terrifier, but it was watchable. Didn't make me gag or anything. Maybe Americans just overdid it on the burgers in the USA before sitting down for Terrifier 2.
It was fine. The darker acting wasn't half bad. Pretty solid, even if I don't follow movies that closely.
Whether it starts in a hospital or whatever you want to call an "institution," it all sounds promising at first—until I see that damn shadow for the first time. I just couldn't deal. The visuals are a total mess, too. Honestly? Just skip it.
A bit of a flop at the box office? I don't get it—if it’s supposedly that good. Guess I'll have to check it out myself—always been a fan of this kind of stuff anyway.
I’ve probably lost count of how many times I’ve sat through this one—easily over five. For its era, it was way ahead of the curve. They packed so much into the plot—it almost feels like watching a bunch of interconnected vignettes. Probably because they actually took the time to let the characters breathe. It all works for me.
The most gut-wrenching part has to be that scene in the well with the woman and the little vampire girl, just waiting to turn to ash because the blue guy locked them in there.
Same with the ending—that moment where the reporter is just sitting in his car and then suddenly gets jumped and bitten by the blue guy (Tom Cruise).
Such a shame we never got a sequel. I'd love to see where things went next with (Christian Slater) and the rest of the crew.
