Ugh, I know exactly how you feel 😘
I'm actually on antibiotics right now because my gums are so inflamed. Honestly, I haven't slept a wink in two nights because of the pain. Aaaaaah, someone please tell me there's an end to this kind of ache! 🙂
I'm not entirely certain, but I think it was a prenatal ultrasound $100, I am
the last one to go through the combined screening and checkup, which took place in $200.
As for your other questions, I honestly don't have the answers....
Dana Wilson said:Has anyone been to see Dr. Šparac recently? I'm curious about what kind of "exam gear" they provide. Like, do you get a disposable gown, a skirt, or anything like that? If not, where do you change compared to the exam table? What do people usually wear during the appointment?
Also, is there just one monitor, or is there also one facing us from behind?
And can my husband come into the exam room with me? (I'm pregnant)
1. You get a disposable skirt for the exam.
2. There's a private area in the office for changing.
3. There's just one screen, but it's angled toward you so you can see everything.
4. Yes, he can.
Oh my God, I can't even deal with everything I'm reading here😂
A tiny poodle wearing a little coat😂 😂
And someone actually suggesting rinsing a kid's mouth out with liquid hand soap🤦
placidbear10, please accept my deepest condolences.😢🙂
I've unfortunately spent most of the last two years bouncing between different hospitals,
and I really have to side with those people who complain about how nurses
treat their patients. I've tried adjusting my own approach a few times—I'll walk in being polite and smiling, only to get met with rudeness and an attitude. Then I think, okay, maybe I should just act like them? So I go in acting cold and arrogant, and then we end up in a massive blowout🤣or I try to stay indifferent, but they throw me off balance so much that I’m stuck feeling frustrated all day long... I just can't seem to find any common ground with them.🙂
If these were women working at a Chase bank, I wouldn't care, but we're talking about human lives here.
I’m specifically thinking of those cases where a patient is immobile and completely unable to care for themselves; some of these staff members have become so numb to human suffering that they've gone totally silent.
Once I realized that being nice wasn't getting me anywhere, I decided to pull out a classic American tactic and called a contact of mine... and suddenly, the whole vibe shifted.🙄
But look, I don't want to be unfair. Not everyone is like that, and I definitely want to remember the ones who were actually friendly, kind, and understanding. Unfortunately, those people only make up about 10% of what I've experienced.
