🙂 I can't tell if I just care this much because there are way too many idiots on here. 😁 Honestly, ever since the USA days, I’ve felt like if I could just access them and my favorite chat, I’d be better off than having access to the whole damn forum.
I’m slammed right now, so I can't get to it immediately, but once things settle down, I might try putting together that index thread. Just opening it up to index the first round of papers would be a start. That way, we can all jump in and decide if it hits the mark, then just keep filling it out as we go. We won't even need mod powers for that. If we do end up needing some backup, though, we'll just pull our supporters among the mods, just like we've always done. 😁
If we start doing traveling taskmasters—which, honestly, I love the sound of on several levels—my only real worry is that our work will just end up scattered all over the place by the end of it. It feels pointless to move everything somewhere else once the deadline hits; we’d lose the whole point of the traveling format, which is attracting new writers and maybe even some fresh readers who get hooked by the topic. If we jump from Politics to Literature in a week, we could just dump it in the Archives as old entries, and let's be real, nobody is going to find it there anyway.
That's why I think the best way to anchor everything would be to have someone set up an index thread. In that thread, you'd list the current round and link to all the pieces and the comment section. That way, the actual discussion can stay in Politics, Alt, or just PDFs, while the die-hard fans can always find their way back to the content through the index thread.
This proposal is so spot-on and common sense that I honestly think anyone trying to fight it should be sentenced to a year of moderating Alternative or the Chicken coop. If they happen to be an active member of both sub-forums, let's just give them a low grade from the National Park Service instead.

The Republicans aren't stupid; they know perfectly well that if that specific trio won, nobody with half a brain would ever vote for them again, except maybe some absolute bottom-of-the-barrel extremists on the right. But with Plenković and his crew, they’ve got a real shot at even picking up a decent chunk of votes from those people who despise the Democratic Party and the Democratic Party, because let's face it—no sane person is going to cast a ballot for those complete morons over at the Democratic Party led by that absolute clown, Berni.
Yeah. Now everyone is claiming this is a good setup because it creates a legit foundation for a strong sovereignist Milo my man option to the right of the Republican Party. If the alternatives had won, the Republican Party would have just drifted further right, leaving zero breathing room for anyone else. The radicals are basically in a win-win situation here, and honestly, they'd much rather take that second win. 🤣
Personally, I love it when people get dragged out into the light so you can see how many there actually are. Yesterday, they made up maybe 20-25% of the Republican crowd.
In an election where the Republican Party isn't busy poaching their territory, they could actually kill it if they managed to band together and put forward people who are capable of saying something smarter than just "Plenković is an ultra-liberal." But that's always been their Achilles' heel. That's why the more honest ones among them would probably admit they'd much prefer if Kovac had won, just so they could blame the entire Republican Party vote count on the radical right.
I’ve gotta say, seeing the Republican Party shake things up today actually caught me off guard. I honestly didn't think Smith stood a chance because letting him in would basically destabilize the party while they're holding power. My guess was that after the elections, Plenković would just end up surrounded by all these fringe alternatives. The pathetic results we saw from Brkić and Stier just prove the same old story: those right-wing radicals always make a massive amount of noise, hoping everyone will mistake their shouting for actual voter support. Then the elections roll around and they get hit with a massive reality check. But this time, the slap in the face came straight from their own members. You can't put a price on that. 🙏
Man, I just saw that Vettel is basically saying drivers might want to call it quits altogether. And honestly, McLaren has already officially pulled the plug.
The way the media keeps obsessing over these Mason conspiracy theories is honestly overshadowing everything else—from Tina Turner’s latest anthem to the internal power struggles within the Republican Party. What’s the deal here? Is there actually some secret society influence working its way up through the top brass of the Republican Party that we should be worried about?
I totally blanked on congratulating Konkvić and his crew on that well-earned team championship. 🙏 🙏 If Mobbi had actually had a decent teammate by his side, things would've looked a lot different, but hey, if that lady were a man...
Huge props to Mob! A well-earned championship title right there! Maminho was a beast of an opponent, snagging four wins, and the legendary Mirko even managed to take six. But look, this game is all about staying consistently solid, and man, you nailed that part!
Terry Carter2, you did a killer job managing this whole thing for a long time. Mad respect. I’m really hoping Tempo steps up and keeps that same energy going. 🙏
Look, if you feel cheated, you’ve got every right to be pissed. But hey, if Tempo actually messed up, then you're the one walking away with the Championship, and User will show up just to give you props.
Is User going to pull it off and snatch the Championship in style with a win?!? If that actually happens, I’m definitely grabbing a drink tonight to celebrate a legendary teammate! 🙏 🙏

I wasn't exactly counting down the minutes hoping to snag some points from this race, but looks like I wasn't the only one missing the mark. It’s all good. 🙂
Hey, once you drop those results, toss us the overall standings too, please. I want to see if we’re actually looking at a fight for position in the final round or if everything is already wrapped up.

My bad, I totally misread you earlier. I thought you were calling out the nonsense practice of stacking warnings when the user refuses to see they’re actually the one causing the drama. Now I get it—you’re basically begging for a permaban. And if you actually get it, you’ll probably try to use it as proof that you weren't being a headache, kind of like how people try to spin things on other forums.
I’m telling rustydrifter10: don't fall for this little game. This isn't about some grand principle; it's just a way for them to give you the boot after three strikes and endless fighting with everyone on the boards and moderators everywhere else you hang out.
Maria Johnson said:Also, if you're just gonna try to step on me this unfairly without actually hitting me with a permanent ban, then just tell me how long the ban is supposed to last. Honestly, I don't see the point.
Look, I know everyone probably gets a headache when Honey shows up here acting like a victim on the forum, but they've got a point. What's even the point of hoarding partials like they're Pokemon cards? Just hit them with a perma and let's all move on.
