As far as my understanding goes, the Ultrasoft tires aren't even being considered yet... they don't seem to bring them into play until we get closer to the race in Canada...

Pirelli has released the tire selections for all the drivers...
I won't bother hunting for the link right this second...🙂
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? It looks like Mecke has a completely different selection than the others. Is it possible that Lujo is playing games here? I can't help but wonder if they might try to claim they're being biased because of my race again...🙂

Because that is simply the routine they follow every single year, isn't it? 🙂
And perhaps it is because they are absolutely terrified of a boss demanding results when there is nothing to show for it; honestly, it's just the same old story you see with these American teams.🙂

I haven't been following F1 much lately, so I find myself curious.
And frankly, I don't feel like hunting through all the news sites to find out.
Which team is Kevin Magnussen driving for now?
The same one that caused that mess with Pastor Maldonado, which will likely leave us facing a rather dull championship season ahead...🙂

I am not entirely sure where else to turn, so I thought I would pose my question here: what on earth is going on with this forum? Every time I attempt to access it from my desktop, I am constantly being redirected to various shady websites, not to mention the endless barrage of pop-up ads appearing on the sides of the page...
It seems to function perfectly fine only when I am using the Tapatalk app on my phone....
For the record, I am certain that my computer is free of any viruses...

Is he finally finding his rhythm again?
Could it be a push rod issue? 🙂

I am not entirely certain if this sentiment has already been voiced, but Haas mentioned being quite taken aback by just how incredibly complicated Formula 1 truly is... 🙂
Well, no kidding, Sherlock... 🙂

Is it really so hard to believe that teams would push their engines to the absolute limit toward the end of testing just to find that breaking point? Wouldn't it be perfectly logical to stress-test them during those final sessions before qualifying begins?
Word on the street is that Ferrari sent their LAPD back to the factory to run it on the dyno until it practically explodes...
At least, that is what I happened to read somewhere this morning.

It appears we are looking at another year of dominance from Mickey... though perhaps it won't be quite as overwhelming as last season. The Ferkani might manage to snag a few more wins—maybe four or five—while it could finally be time for RB or Williams to pick up one each. That would likely settle the score...
Now, we just wait for 2017...🙂
P.S.
Of course, this is merely my own speculation...🙂

Could Nico Rosberg choose to ignore orders? Perhaps, but wouldn't he then find himself facing sudden mechanical failures mid-race, such as overheating brakes or a cylinder malfunction? 🙂

Kimi tends to prefer a push rod suspension setup, whereas last year they were running a pull rod... 🙂
Does this imply that Kimi might see an improvement in performance, even if it isn't necessarily within the Ferrari ecosystem?

Is it possible that Kimi Räikkönen possesses superior skill, even if Sebastian Vettel manages to find a bit more raw speed? 🙂

We all understand that testing is inherently unpredictable and that raw data rarely tells the full story, particularly during these Pirelli sessions where there was such widespread confusion regarding which specific tire compounds were actually being utilized...
However, even taking everything else into account, seeing him clock in three seconds behind Sebastian Vettel suggests a massive deficit that is difficult to ignore, regardless of how many technical excuses one might attempt to conjure up...
From what I can gather, it doesn't even appear as though they were testing identical tire components...

It looks like Ferrari has finally made the switch over to a push rod suspension system...
Perhaps this change will finally provide them with the front-end stability they've been searching for?🙂

Word on the street is that Pastor Maldonado might be facing a sudden exit from the grid, with Kevin Magnussen being floated as a potential replacement...
My own take is that it might actually be in the sport's best interest to keep him around; if he does depart, we could face a much calmer season with far fewer collisions, which wouldn't exactly help the viewership numbers that are already struggling...
I honestly find myself wondering how Bernie Ecclestone hasn't caught onto this yet... 🙂
