Brandon Hill5 said:With a campaign like that, you’re just gonna attract the same crowd that showed up for the general's welcome parade—people who were couch potatoes until now. Get real. Once this hype dies down, those people are gone. Maybe a couple will stick around.
You're underestimating the long game and overestimating the quick fix.
Plus, trying to recruit die-hard fans using marketing gimmicks is just a joke.
Think about it a little harder.😉

on topic: the Bulls are cowards.

I wasn't talking about recruiting the Bad Boys, I was talking about filling seats. A campaign isn't just a start and an end; it's constant. Every major club in the world does it. In America, only the Brooklyn Nets do things like this.

Don't lecture me on results. This is how I make my living.

Don't sweat the Bad Boys; stuff like this actually makes the group stronger in the long run. Back in the late 90s, the Bad Boys only had 100 people, then everything shifted once things got easier. That's just how it goes, man...

Thomas Doyle19 said:Niketas is being real here. NYC has massive potential but just doesn't show it. Even back when things were decent, we could've been way better. Especially during smaller games—NYC could easily pull 15,000 people for a Yankees game without even trying, maybe even 20,000 if they wanted, since there's no local competition. It's different in Chicago, where the Bulls and the Lakers both have huge fanbases in the city. So yeah, like Niketas said, NYC has much more potential than what we see. But my take? Unlike Chicago, NYC was never really a "fanatic" city. The Bad Boys are the ones keeping the city's reputation alive in the stands, but overall, we aren't a die-hard sports town. Look at Miami—it's a fraction of the size, yet the fanaticism for the Red Sox is insane compared to how people feel about the Yankees in NYC. And I don't see anything wrong with saying that out loud. The Bad Boys won't act like babies about it, and it's not their fault they live in an environment where the average local needs a massive incentive or some special hype just to show up to a game—stuff that wouldn't even be necessary in a real hardcore scene. The Dawg Pound doesn't need extra hype because in Miami and all over Florida, being part of that culture is just what's cool. Being a fan is the vibe. In NYC, being a Yankees or Bad Boys fan hasn't been "cool" for a long time.

And that’s the core of it. That guy in charge is just one piece of the puzzle. Like you guys said, even when he's gone, the problems will stay, and the crackdown will too. Maybe it'll be slightly less intense since the cops won't have a reason to harass the stands over every little thing, but we all know who's actually pulling the strings. It's not about the law; it's just about some shady guy in a VIP box.

Anyway, those recent riots in Chicago where people are pulling knives and guns like it's the Wild West is the best proof that we shouldn't compare ourselves to them. They're just built different. For us, walking around with weapons just to maim or kill someone isn't something that's ever going to be normal. They just won't get it; that history left deep scars on them.

Y'all are clueless.🙄

Back in the day, the Yankees had way better attendance than the Red Sox or the Bulls, only trailing behind the Lakers, who definitely have 3 or 4 times more fans than the Yankees... ☕

silverbear38 said:I mean, how can you expect kids to show up when they're getting kicked out of the stadium just for not having an ID? Expecting them to come back is a lost cause...

Anyone writing that clearly hasn't stepped foot in Yankee Stadium in 5 or 6 years...

1. You won't find this kind of crackdown at any stadium in Europe. Not even close. ☕

2. There isn't a single team in Europe with such brainless marketing—constantly lying to fans, selling season tickets then charging $1.75 or $1 for entry, followed by those pathetic sweepstakes and all the other ways they disrespect the fans.

And most importantly:

3. Nowhere else in Europe is there a club so tied to such a garbage persona as the New York Yankees.

Gary Watson15 said:The Bad Boys, exactly as they are, still make up 70-80% of the total crowd at New York Yankees home games. Probably more than any other group anywhere else in the world.

Which just goes to show how much of a dumpster fire the Yankees have become.

Spot on.
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
What century are you living in?

With a decent enough marketing and PR push, you could convince people to go bowling blindfolded in ten days. You think we won't pack Yankee Stadium once Real Madrid is actually healthy? 🙄🙄🙄

Like someone said, kids follow Real Madrid and FC Barcelona because nobody ever gave them a reason to care about us. To them, Real Madrid just looks like a bunch of angry Zebras and paid articles making the Bad Boys look like Al Qaeda.

Once that shifts—once after 20-plus years Real Madrid actually acts like Real Madrid again—we’ll be the biggest team in the country with the most fans. Everything else is just noise.

Jonathan Barnes5 said:Sam Sullivan58—you're spot on... forgot to mention that part. The more you stick with the same crowd coming to the stands, the more people actually stay put when the crackdown starts hitting. It’s no secret how our ranks started thinning out way before this latest wave of repression, even though they've been at it since day one.

The group is 90% garbage and 95% pure repression. You can't separate them; it's all thanks to the same guy.

analogheron19 said:Of course this doesn't just apply to fans, but since this is a fan forum, I'm talking about them.
We're screwed. Just a bunch of morons who don't give a damn about anyone else's problems until we're drowning ourselves, and even then, instead of actually trying to fix things, we just default to blaming everyone else.

Sadly, that's just how we are. Shallow and stupid.

I always look at the Brits. Right after he won World War II, they basically told Churchill to screw off. Less than two months after the war ended in Europe!

The guy lost the election fair and square. Meanwhile, back here, that idiot Josip Broz Tito ruled for 35 years by feeding people fairy tales. But the Americans? Boom, screw you, your platform sucked. 🙏

Imagine how far ahead they really are...

rizla-wb-1950 said:So, why didn't the Boys react right at the start? Probably because they're obsessed with Miami's Hajduk. Don't take this the wrong way, just my two cents, but here's the proof... That same guy Zdravko Mamić is out there celebrating 100 years of Dinamo, while you guys claim to hate him. If neither BBB nor ZZD spoke up to say this monster is a liar falsifying history and founding dates, then why the silence?

Why would they care when Dinamo is the direct successor to Građanski's history? It’s pretty rude to argue about stuff from the 1800s when I actually have family members who swear by it—people who lived through it, university professors, intellectuals, folks who actually knew what was happening. Not some random shepherds in the Appalachians. But whatever, let's not get sidetracked.

The second, bigger reason is that Mamić turned this into his own little private party. He’s trying to bury the fact that he's a notorious criminal and shouldn't even be at Dinamo by throwing out a distraction that doesn't matter right now.

They dropped a smoke bomb on purpose. We ignored the bait and kept hitting the same targets we always do. Kuiš?

Eric Phillips52 said:We should probably have a rule where if you weren't actually there—like at the old Yankee Stadium games back when we had hundreds of us out, or at the rallies in Chicago—you get some kind of tag. Just so people know who they're talking to, who's just watching from the sidelines, or who's just some casual fan.

You deserve a ban.

Pretty sure this is Kleptoman. Shut him down.

velvetfalcon80 said:...plus Jesse Campbell has to wear a yellow armband with the Davidson star on his sleeve.😂🤣

🤣

Yeah, except things have changed since '43. Instead of some thugs and Falcons trying to grab me, two Delta Force helis show up to pull me out amidst a pile of dead and wounded. 😁

Then, you know, the ACAB commander just suddenly sees a red dot on his forehead. 😂

neonraven112 said:So what if it’s a total disaster? Does that change anything for you? Jesse Campbell is right—moaning about it doesn't get us anywhere. There are plenty of us left, so why bother? This whole "we're doomed" vibe just plays right into Mamić's hands. I’m not buying into it, even if we're just a handful of people left in the stands.

Took a quick look through Eric Phillips52's post history. Aside from having a garbage username, 95% of his stuff is just: we're pathetic, there's too few of us, we're helpless, we're weak, we're screwed, total fiasco, absolute wreck...

It's actually wild how someone can systematically post the exact same crap across different threads just to push the same propaganda over and over.

Basically, this guy is either:

a) a psychopath dealing with chronic depression who’s probably gonna end it all soon.
b) a plant on this forum spreading doom and gloom on someone's behalf. ☕
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
All this constant whining and negativity is gonna kill us for sure. We were actually seeing great numbers at those first protests, but all this doom and gloom started tanking our momentum. Because of this pathetic attitude, we look like a total joke to Americans abroad, while some 300 or 500 Hooligans hanging out near City Hall looks like a win.

Think about that before you start crying again.

Morgan Scott82 said:Jesse Campbell was always an optimist, even if his visions were a bit out there😁

Good thing you got banned. You were just spreading gloom, and honestly, I'd have kicked you myself if I still had admin rights.

Back in the day during wartime, they used to shoot defeatists on sight, but here on this forum, those losers are running the show. 🙂

Jacob Newman74 said:Either way, hitting them with a protest right alongside the national team game is the smarter play. 🙂

Protesting in Iceland makes sense. But we could just rally the crowd on a different day instead. It’s all about timing.

We could even run simultaneous protests in every major city across the US.

quietcrane22 said:Listen, Jesse Campbell, yesterday wasn't legendary. It was pathetic. We shouldn't be running from our own stadium just because of some chanting and yelling, fearing people will get hurt. If the cops had actually moved in like they planned yesterday, we’d be talking about how the BBB used to exist. I never thought I'd say this, but that might be our future since our numbers are shrinking every single day. Massive respect to the old guard showing up at every game, and to the few guys keeping us together and standing their ground. But if the brass doesn't step up or ends up in a riot, the BBB is history...

Total nonsense. That last game against Dragovoljac proved the crew isn't folding. There were plenty of heads in the East Stand. Even with just the core group, you'll always pull in another 600 or 700, and once the dust settles, even more show up. Look, I get why some people don't want to walk into a stadium like it's Auschwitz. If I can wrap my head around that at 41, I don't get why you younger guys are acting so hyper.

Basically, every time they realize they aren't winning, they ramp up the pressure, but there's a limit. They're running out of room. Eventually, all they'll have left is shooting at people. In my eyes, we haven't even started the real fight against the crackdown alongside the other groups yet. This massive move to dodge arrests is a strategic play. We need to realize we're operating like guerrillas. And while we play guerrilla in the stands and on the streets, we have to run the propaganda and legal battles in parallel.

Easy does it... Everything will settle eventually. It's obvious you guys didn't live through the 90s when the group was functioning even more underground, even though the heat was lower back then. Back then, hitting the road with just 100 people felt like a huge win.

David Kim50 said:It’s too early to protest, and there isn't enough momentum yet. I'm all for a demonstration, but I feel like the whole American supporter scene would just be sitting ducks out there.
I hate comparing us to Mexico, but we need something like their famous "October 5th"—a total grassroots uprising where neither the people nor the government can find common ground. Sports mafia is just a symptom of the rot in society. Getting rid of Mamić might just be symbolic; he isn't even the biggest threat, it's his buddies keeping him in power because the setup works for everyone.

I agree that fans should be part of something bigger. Istanbul is a better example than Mexico. But American fans have always been the ones driving the change. Why stop now?

If we actually united, we could pull together 10 grand easily. The rebellion is going to grow. Maybe not at BBB since we're used to being crushed, but I'm worried Torcida, Armada, and the other groups will take the biggest hit...

Let's just wait a bit longer.

Morgan Scott82 said:Could the local tourism board grab $6 million from Washington, D.C. just to hand it over to Los Angeles FC for some European branding? Sure they can. They always find a way, don't sweat it... But D.C. is drowning in its own mess, and eventually, even that faucet is gonna run dry. No matter how much people want to turn it back on, if the city goes broke, the lights go out. That day is coming sooner than you think.

Hell no, they can't. You're just spreading rumors again. You really think the EC is stupid? Brussels exists specifically to police fair competition... That’s their whole damn purpose in life.

Last year they launched an investigation against five Dutch clubs. Imagine what they'd do to us..
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
Yesterday was freaking legendary. Those losers were just getting ready to charge. Some idiot over the radio was blathering about arresting everyone in the middle and the front rows. Probably would’ve ended up with 50 to 100 people in cuffs again. They even started setting up those double lines... 🙂

Then the little fishers broke right through the fence and spilled out from the stands. 😁

You could see the pure desperation on the cops' faces. 😲

🙏🙏🙏 🤣🤣🤣

Keep pushing!
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
The idea that Mamić actually has the people behind him is pure delusion. Back when things were going way better for him, he barely had any support, and every single poll showed he was getting absolutely crushed.

No matter how many idiots are out there, they aren't *that* stupid... Even Zdravkec knows it, which is exactly why he’s terrified of the elections.

Man, this depression is becoming a chronic issue for the Bad Boys, and now it's starting to bleed into other groups too... 🙂
