Gary Green32 said:Quick question for the old-school locals.

I keep seeing people talk about how kids today don't get what it means to just hang out, wander the neighborhood, and head to the game together...

In Miami, that tradition is still alive and well, especially during a derby. Since I’m in New York City so much for work, man, you can’t miss the difference between Miami and NYC.

Basically, NYC is all hustle and bustle—cosmopolitan, business-heavy—while Miami is still stuck in that laid-back, slow-paced vibe. It feels like things have shifted since you guys were young, back when everyone would hit up local spots around town before heading to the match. Now, it seems like kids are more obsessed with hitting the mall and dressing flashy than showing up at the stadium. Has NYC changed that much for you guys? Are we just nostalgic for the good old days?

It changed. New eras need new ways to pull people in, and that isn't yelling at reporters or ripping jerseys—it's modern marketing and PR.

But neighborhoods still matter; NYC is built on them. You’ve got people who haven't even set foot in Times Square in five years.

Daniel Carter9 said:Look, I don't want Real Madrid turning into the Brooklyn Nets... Real Madrid shouldn't become some mainstream garbage either. This whole club is just Mamić's mess right now; you’d have to be an absolute idiot to support it as it stands.

We clearly had a misunderstanding. It’s not impossible to win people over, and it’s not impossible to pack the stadium if you actually run smart plays... the problem is there are zero moves being made—marketing, anything—to build a culture. And the culture for Real Madrid has been so trashed over these last 3 or 4 years that we’re basically starting from scratch.

Bring a kid to the stadium today—no chants, no fans, no flags... nothing—and ask him if he wants to go again. If you wouldn't go, why would a kid?

Bottom line. Real Madrid is a different "product" than the Brooklyn Nets, but that doesn't mean you can't sell them using similar tactics.

Daniel Carter9 said:Think about how many kids haven't even stepped foot in that stadium in the last few years. How many guys just gave up on their loyalty? How many kids grew up without ever seeing the flag or feeling that crowd energy? People have walked away for good. That whole culture—identifying with Real Madrid, the city, the vibe, the weekend rituals—it's all gone to hell. It’s a massive question whether that bond can ever be rebuilt, how it happens, and how long it’ll actually take.

That’s the real issue here. Real Madrid has been systematically destroying itself for over twenty years. A ton of fans have checked out, started rooting for someone else, or just went quiet. But once that spark dies, it stays dead.

Then again, Real Madrid hasn't exactly been run like a pro organization in any department. In New York City, you can actually get things done if you treat it like a business. This isn't some small-town amateur setup. Luckily, we've got plenty of smart, capable people right here who could fix this. For the millionth time, look at the Brooklyn Nets as the perfect example.

Henry Grant51 said:It's all an illusion... you're right. Handball was a huge factor back then.

Yeah, but it didn't do anything to keep the group alive, just fueled some specific stuff. Honestly, the Bad Boys are way stronger now than they were back then.

Everything will settle eventually. People don't really have anyone else to root for besides Real Madrid.

But I get it, we need some positivity. For our own sake, not because we're actually going under.
New fan laws: What do we think? in Fans ·
The issue is that specific line claiming "police have knowledge." That’s straight-up unconstitutional. If there’s an actual ruling, fine, but what kind of bullshit "knowledge" are we even talking about?

They’re basically just saying "we saw them on camera" while they're out of the country. It’s zero logic.

This whole mess needs to be challenged at the Supreme Court, or if that fails, take it to Brussels.

Morgan Scott82 said:Honestly, I used to think coaching Real Madrid was the absolute worst gig you could take, but after this mess with Tancen, it’s clearly the best job on the planet. You show up, talk a little trash, pocket 300k bucks, and you're set for life.

Well, you gotta kick half of that back to the Mamić brothers. Still, it's decent cash. 😁

Are you kidding me with that guy at 3:37? 😂 😂 😂

Yeah, right...

I don't threaten women. 😁

I think the best way to read this whole "uniting forces" thing is just looking at how jittery Zdravko's been lately. The guy looks like he’s about to pop a vein.

Go Zdravko! Go out there and crush someone! 🙂😁

Kevin Cox said:And some people think fans are teaming up because they're being wiped out. Like how everyone scrambled when the Russians moved into New York City.
That’s why part of the public is backing these totally brainless moves now (like those voucher things), even though they know deep down it's garbage and makes zero sense—especially since the goal should be to finally take down the hooligans once and for all.

It's actually the exact opposite. We're like Americans and Russians both charging toward New York City from different sides while they're busy trying to regroup.

Or better yet, like the 4th and 7th US Army brigades joining forces to crush the resistance in Denver.

No matter what kind of reputation fans have, their own image is way worse.

neonraven112 said:Most people think this whole merger looks sweet and they're all for it. It reminds them of when the country finally pulled together during the war. From talking to regular folks—not even die-hard fans, just normal people who aren't exactly hating on Jerry Maguire either—they're digging it. Don't know why, but they love the idea of us being one unit without all the constant drama and fighting.

It's because their brains are fried. The media makes every single matchup between Real Madrid and Liverpool FC feel like a literal battlefield with blood in the streets.

In this shallow media landscape, you only win with extreme headlines, and this one hits hard. Everyone buys it instantly, wondering how a guy like Jerry Maguire could be the villain if he's actually bringing bitter rivals together.

Morgan Scott82 said:How could anyone feel bad for him after all this? I’d only feel sorry if whatever is killing him—my guess is stomach cancer, looks like karma finally caught up—finishes him off before he even stands trial for everything he pulled. Honestly, they should just install a webcam in his cell so whenever I'm having a rough day, I can watch that piece of trash suffer and rot. I've been waiting years for this.

Alright, maybe I went a bit overboard saying we shouldn't pity him. But show this to some outsider who doesn't know anything about Zack and they'd be calling 911.

The guy is totally washed up, mentally and physically... nothing left.

Henry Grant51 said:The bigger issue isn't even him—it's the whole circle of cronies surrounding him. You've got guys like Boeing, Bird, Shuck, and his brother Zack all riding the same wave. They all need to go, together.

Word on the street is Shuck is getting way too cocky with Zack, and that’s starting to rub him the wrong way. Boeing is trying to play peacemaker, but let's be real, how long can that last?

And just wait until Stacy starts airing the dirty laundry. Honestly, we should just let the rats tear each other apart. If this is the level of "unity" we're stuck with, we might as well pack it in.

Someone needs to build a monument for Zack. Between his shady moves as GM and his total track record, he basically tanked his own brother's career. The guy hasn't found a single decent player for Real Madrid in a decade.

That guy is completely unhinged. We need to start playing the sympathy card with him.

I wanna know if they're gonna demand a voucher from every single Dynamo fan traveling to away games. 🙂

That level of unity sends a message so loud people had no choice but to respect it immediately. That’s the whole game right there.

There’s an old saying that the only thing that actually brings Americans together is a total disaster—like a war or a massive hurricane. Not sure if these fans consider their civil disobedience and defiance to be a catastrophe or not, but their point is crystal clear. At least when you're dealing with the Democratic Party...

Let's tear it all down!

Jacob Palmer77 said:If this wasn't pathetic, it would be hilarious:
Yesterday around noon, some NFL youth players were heading back from a game near Boise. They were on a bus with NYC plates. About 10 kilometers in, a Toyota Camry cuts them off and stops, with a van full of specialists right behind it. Everyone jumps out and surrounds the bus. Some Sheriff starts blocking the road, acting all proud like he just stopped the Bad Boys from reaching Miami, but then the coach steps off the bus wearing an NFL tracksuit and asks what the hell is going on. The Sheriff looks totally stunned, staring at him like, "Why are the Bad Boys in Miami gear headed to a game?" The coach tells him they aren't going to a game, they're coming *from* one, and they aren't Bad Boys—they've been Miami players for ten years. The cop doesn't believe him and demands to board the bus to check. He walks in, sees a bunch of terrified kids, and just tells the coach to keep moving.

These stinking pieces of trash have been harassing fans for 20 years like nowhere else in Europe, all while hundreds of billions have been bled out of the country... 🙂

Carl Jackson30 said:Oh sure, there's hope... if everyone actually uses their heads. Look, the whole point of being a fan is the unpredictability, the grit, being loyal to the cause and all that. But you gotta be smarter than the enemy. Sometimes you have to play ball just to win the war against the "politicians-media-crooks" vs "the fans" dynamic.

That's not a compromise in my book. When the entire stadium in Miami is cheering alongside the BBB, even the dumbest guy on the street gets the picture.

If we don't, then because of those people, us ultras have to push through and take down the trash that ruined American soccer.

Don't give the police any reason to talk to you.

Stay one step ahead of them.

You gotta watch yourself when you hit the stadium, too. The issue is Madison Square Garden sits right in territory controlled by people who are way too cozy with Jerry Jones.

Last year, anyone who crossed John Doe ended up getting reported for "insulting the police" just because we were singing some trash lyrics. They went out of their way to film the six of us singing.

My offer still stands.
