Larry Ramirez3 said:Not really. I built up my bankroll grinding freerolls, but if I actually hit a score, I’d be cashing out to a bank account in the States.

I’m just telling you to be careful. I usually move my winnings over to PayPal, then funnel them through DraftKings (you have to wager 10%, so I just bet it at 1.0 odds) and then withdraw it to my checking account.
Let them try to track it if they're so eager. ☕

And you’re probably using a foreign currency account in the US or just a credit card to fund your PayPal...
I’m no expert, but watch out, it might be a slippery slope. I actually heard about a case where the IRS froze everything a woman had earned from DraftKings when she tried to withdraw it to her bank account.

If I were you, I’d probably head over to the Legal subforum first. I have some doubts about whether that kind of profit is actually legal here in the States... Honestly, it feels like our government is still stuck in the Stone Age when it comes to this stuff 😢

Jessica Martin18 said:I'll just share what happened to me. At an ATM here in the US, my available balance showed up way higher than what was actually in my account, while my wife’s screen showed a negative balance even though she had plenty of money. She couldn't even withdraw any cash.

The situation abroad usually depends on how often banks and the companies owning the ATM networks sync up their data. Also, most banks make sure to keep a little buffer in the account after a transaction, so sometimes you might technically have money, but you just can't get to it...
The other possibility is that someone stole your card info and drained the account. 🤷
Issues with online banking - JPMorgan Chase in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Joshua Doyle75 said:Man, I totally thought that PIN card you need for logging into online banking was about to expire or something, so I was just sitting there feeling super confused. It caught me way off guard! 😁

That’s exactly why I’m freaking out about it! Honestly, most of my bills are already sitting there, just waiting to hit... and you know how it goes when everything piles up at once. It’s a mess. $167Man, it’s honestly such a gut punch... I feel like I'm getting absolutely hammered by these fees. Like, seriously, I'm paying double what I should be just to cover my bills. It's ridiculous.

So, I was just scrolling through the news this morning—you know how it is, can't even finish my coffee without seeing some crazy headline—and I saw this thing about JPMorgan Chase. Apparently, they’re letting people go over in Canada, too. It sounds like they’re looking to pull back out of Eastern Europe entirely. Man, that's heavy. Makes you wonder what else is shifting behind the scenes, right?
Wait, you think they're feeling the squeeze too? Man, I was just sitting here thinking about how everyone seems to be hitting a wall lately. It feels like every time I turn around, some massive corporation is making headlines because they're struggling to keep their heads above water. Honestly, it’s kind of wild when you stop and look at the big picture. You see these huge names—the ones you think are untouchable—suddenly acting all jittery, and you gotta wonder if the whole system is just... shaky? Like, is it just me, or is that vibe everywhere right now? It's pretty heavy stuff to wrap your head around while you're just trying to grab a coffee and get through the day.

I don't think there's a crisis... The owners of Citigroup and Bank of America are actually facing much bigger issues... It seems like buying those banks in Canada and Romania turned out to be bad investments... In Canada, the government is basically screwing them over with new regulations, and when they bought Wells Fargo in Romania, the previous owner made the books look way better than they actually were. That's where that story about the 900 million euro loss came from—it wasn't really a cash loss, just a hit to their reputation.
Goldman Sachs is doing great here in America and in Mexico; they might even expand in Mexico, so I wouldn't worry. 🙂
Can crooked teeth be linked to limb length discrepancy? in Dentistry & Oral Hygiene ·
Steven Garcia62 said:My teeth are pretty crooked—I think I have an open bite. I tried to fix it when I was a kid, but it was done really poorly by a subpar orthodontist. When I was little, my parents gave me some bad juice or something, I guess, which caused my baby teeth to come in late and stay late too. I think maybe when my upper right lateral incisor 😁 fell out as a baby tooth, the permanent one just never showed up. I’m not a hundred percent sure about that, though (and yeah, it's still missing today). When I went to the dentist at eleven and they saw it, he didn't really have much to say 🙂.
About ten years later, I realized that the right side of my jaw sits differently than the left, which is lower. Also, my right hip sits a bit higher than my left, so my hips look tilted, and my right leg feels longer and maybe a little thicker. Is it possible this is all connected to my teeth? If it is, I have a strong feeling there might not be a fix.
But whatever. I guess having imperfect teeth and legs is better than having nothing at all 😬
Does anyone have another idea?

Misaligned hips usually happen because of issues with the first cervical vertebra (the atlas), so it probably doesn't have anything to do with your teeth. Maybe try Googling stuff about atlas realignment; it might make things a bit clearer 🙂
Best time of day to work out? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
frozenowl10 said:I guess I work out whenever I feel like it, too. I only wrote that stuff about morning workouts being the best for burning fat because that's just what I've heard people say. Blah blah blah.

I struggle with getting myself motivated to actually work out. When I do manage to get moving, I usually just end up doing some sit-ups. I’ll try to squeeze in a few push-ups, but then I just realize I don't really have the energy for it. 😢

How do you guys actually find the motivation to work out?

I guess the cravings finally got the better of me, so I decided to get started. 🤷
Once you finally see some results after those first two weeks, I guess things start to get a lot easier. 👍

The whole idea behind morning workouts isn't necessarily about training on an empty stomach. I guess if you grab something light beforehand—like some fruit or maybe a quick protein shake—you'll actually have the energy to power through your session. You end up burning off that breakfast, plus your fat stores, and it probably gives your metabolism a nice little boost. It might even help you burn more calories throughout the rest of the day too.
