Facts—it was such a mess I had to pull up a second screen just to actually follow what was happening.
Why isn't the standings graphic even showing up during the broadcast? It’s literally impossible to keep track of who's where—just a total mess.

Like Nosferatu 🙏 🙏
The whole forum is losing its mind—saw Lewis Hamilton pulling this stunt just to mess with his fans, honestly kind of hilarious.
Daniel Ricciardo's car looks like a total wreck, 🙂 (Painful to watch.)
Jason Campbell70 said:I wasn't watching both free practice sessions—skipped most of the first one—but during Free Practice 2, what I described happened constantly. George Russell hits the track, does an out-lap, and then
bang, a fast lap or two, all without touching the Drag Reduction System.
As for Lewis Hamilton, we already know the deal: 19 miles/h slower on the straight, looking convincingly last.
Really strange.
All five of them—they definitely weren't opening the Drag Reduction System as much as the others, but I gotta say, George Russell really stood out to me with his DRS because I was watching closely. I didn't pay much attention to Lewis since that's just standard procedure for him at Mercedes, and honestly, the only thing that actually matters for his real form or how the car is doing is qualifying.

I hope you're right.
They were tinkering with Ricciardo, sure, but Lando Norris's last outing didn't even look like real racing; it was like he was just out for a casual Sunday drive.
Either way, I hope things look better tomorrow.
Being a McLaren fan myself—I’m hoping too—but honestly? They haven't shown me anything yet. 😢
Nathan Doyle4 said:They didn't exactly shine today... I was actually hoping this would finally be their year, but looks like the Ferrari fans will be celebrating way before they do....
Maybe it was all an act today. Lando Norris was just messing around, and Daniel Ricciardo clearly wasn't feeling it. They'll tear it up tomorrow once that mechanic finishes tightening every single bolt on the chassis ☕
Man, I wish. But it looked legit serious—some fluid was leaking out of the car and they ended up pulling the engine out, so who knows what's actually broken. If they have to swap the whole engine before the first race, it’s gonna be a total disaster, and honestly, they haven't exactly been winning lately anyway.
cosmicridge5 said:I’ve carefully read through all the nonsense you guys have been posting lately, and I’ve decided to officially announce that I’ll be rooting for Sir Larbalestier Lewis Hamilton this year 🙏
After the miserable luck he dealt with last season, I guess I'm taking him under my special protection 😎
You might want to hurry over to the betting shops 😍
If your whole strategy for picking a driver is just "whoever looks most miserable," then honestly, just go with McLaren. (Might as well let someone else suffer right along with me.)
Jason Campbell70 said:It’s interesting to note that on a track featuring three DRS zones, the Mercedes drivers aren't using DRS once during their fast laps.
They're even losing ground to the competition on the straights.
Red Bull and everyone else are using it, but for Mercedes, it's glaringly obvious they aren't.
Waiting for the Final Round.
I didn't catch that with Lewis Hamilton, but George Russell was definitely using his DRS during his flying laps—multiple times, actually.
Check it out right here:

And again, right here:

Doesn't mean they aren't sandbagging, though. Obviously.

+1
Ferrari’s gonna blow whatever potential they actually have—because, well, it's Ferrari—and if Mercedes-AMG is just sandbagging, someone should give them a medal for being convincing, because they look straight-up terrible.

Honestly, I think any real talk about how this season is gonna go can wait until after qualifying tomorrow—they’re definitely keeping their cards close to their chests—but seeing parts of cars flying everywhere is pretty much a massive red flag for future headaches.
And regardless of what happens tomorrow, it's already obvious that Alfa Romeo is going to be struggling constantly.
Can't wait for FP2. 😂
Ashley Ramirez4 said:Off to a good start 😬
God, there are gonna be reliability issues left and right—at least during the start of the season. 🍿
Alfa's already broken down 😂
Elizabeth Mendoza said:It’s been obvious for ages that he’s just going to be a yes-man. The real question is whether he’ll actually be as useful in that role as Bottas was.
The second he started posting that pathetic, tear-jerking sob story after the last race of the season—even though nobody asked him anything and it wasn't even his business—it became crystal clear. He’s clearly just there to serve his fellow countrymen.
The guy is dense. He probably thinks that through some mix of cheap diplomacy and sucking up to Tot, he can coast his way into a better spot once Hamilton retires in a year or two.
I mean, when you actually crunch the numbers, it’s honestly not a bad strategy at all. 😁

stormybadger8 said:So yeah, we can basically write off Ferrari as title contenders right now...
I’ve got zero faith in Ferrari either. Honestly, I get the feeling they went out of their way to mess up pre-season testing just to fuel all that hype about how they're gonna be absolute beasts this year. Nah—it's still Ferrari. Even if they were handed the championship on a silver platter, they'd somehow find a way to drop the damn thing.

You can at IKEA, but I've got no clue about the HG spot.
ruggedscout76 said:The first race, at long last 🙂 🙂 🙂
Man, finally. Enough with the endless, exhausting debates about design specs and who’s actually fast—it's all just noise. Let's just see them out on the track, that's the only thing that matters. 🎉
swiftmaker12 said:Man, I’d totally vote for Romain Grosjean—but somehow he’s nowhere to be found in this poll???
Honestly, same thought here—I'd definitely throw my vote his way too! 😁
