Email notification issues in Forum Help! ·
Do you guys actually get an email notification every single time someone sends a private message?
Not getting notifications for new posts in subscribed threads in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Look, if the message doesn't explicitly state who sent it, then you can pretty much assume it’s coming from that same forum user who sent you the previous one.
If it were actually someone else—someone different entirely—they would have made sure to mention who they were, wouldn't they?

Wasn't there some sort of issue with Photobucket as well? 🤔

Are you new around here? 🍿
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Alright, if that’s how it is—there won't be anything new for a little while—but why on earth do you feel compelled to drink these if they bother you so much? 😕
Bleeding after a positive pregnancy test in Women's Health ·
It’s actually impossible to have a period while you're pregnant—though what some people mistake for one is often just implantation bleeding.

It’s actually been eight days—but honestly, no big deal, everything is fine—you’ve just shifted the whole schedule forward by a day now.🙂
What's the character limit for DMs? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I’d like to echo that sentiment—it would be incredibly helpful if we could see a higher character limit for posts.

Richard Nelson84 said:It isn't that we went ahead and deleted or locked your threads.

So—is this subforum strictly reserved for discussing deleted or locked threads?

Richard Nelson84 said:I've already addressed both of those examples for you.

Richard Nelson84 said:As for those two specific cases, I honestly don't know—the adult section was set up before my time as a moderator.

Yes, thank you very much for that answer; it was actually quite helpful. 🍿

Richard Nelson84 said:I really am at a loss as to what you're trying to achieve with all these posts. 🤷

I'm just trying to see if anything can be done regarding the site's structure—perhaps some reorganization—and to understand the logic behind how threads are categorized.
It seems there aren't any clear, logical criteria being used right now—so I'm wondering if there's any room for improvement there.

Richard Nelson84 said:It really has nothing to do with how that PDF is organized—or isn't. The adult section is such a tiny PDF with so few active threads that there’s almost no way it could be confusing. No one is going to stop posting just because the layout doesn't match someone's specific taste. 😁

The entire LJS is a mess, not just the adult section.
Taste?
Are you being serious right now? 🥱
As an moderator for LJS, you can't even explain why certain threads end up in the general area while others get moved to the adult section, can you?
I only brought up two examples—do you honestly think I can't find more? 😁

And what does any of this have to do with whether registration is necessary?

Richard Nelson84 said:Editing the PDF isn't the issue— the real problem is that once highly active threads get moved over there overnight, they basically go dormant. If you ask me, I'd actually prefer if nothing was migrated at all.

which isn't really surprising given how confusing everything has become 😵
it feels like the priority was just moving certain topics over there for the sake of appearances.
where things actually ended up—well, that seems to be an afterthought.
wouldn't some actual organization help mitigate this mess?
I don't see how leaving specific threads in the 18+ section helps anyone, especially when it's obvious they don't belong there.
I realize that might result in a somewhat sparse PDF, but surely that would make more sense than the current setup.

jadetiger37 said:I don't see it quite that way... The first two points mentioned are actually pretty serious and offer some real insight—if you look at them closely. But those last few? In my opinion, they just feel like an open invitation for people to troll and mess around. 🙂

My apologies—I didn't quite word that last post as clearly as I intended.

Would you consider entering a relationship with someone living with a disability? — A collective discussion.
Would you ever consider entering into a relationship or marriage with a man living with PTSD?

The discussion regarding disability is hosted on the standard LJS board—but if you're looking to talk about the PTSD topic, you'll need to head over to the 18+ section.
I honestly can't wrap my head around the logic here—how does that even make sense? 🤷

How does one go about performing oral sex properly?
Would you actually be interested in dating someone if they were physically undersized down there?

The first topic is hosted on the standard LJS board, while the second one is tucked away in the 18+ section—which, if you ask me, doesn't make any sense at all.
These are just two examples—I'm certain there are plenty more out there if you really start looking.
If we’re absolutely forced to deal with LJS (18+) content, can we at least get some semblance of organization around it? Can't we tidy things up a little?

I get that it’s a massive undertaking, but if it’s such a mess, why not just scrap that subforum entirely?
Or at least do something about it?
The threads are basically just scattered everywhere without any real sense of organization.

Here are just two examples:
Would you date someone with a disability? - Megathread
Would you consider marriage/a relationship with a man suffering from PTSD?

How to be good at oral sex?
Would you be with a guy who is small down there?

They're all incredibly similar topics, yet they're spread out across completely different sections of Lowe's.

Matthew Anderson said:It’s going to end up just like that Lowe's PDF—only for adults (18+)—where all the threads eventually just go dark.

But honestly, what is even the point of having that subforum? 🤔
I don't really get the criteria they use to decide which topics belong there in the first place.

And besides—why wouldn't that be perfectly normal?
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
I would have told you the exact same thing—that skipping a break is just strange to me🤷
—and honestly, I think you should just use backup contraception for about a week.

edit: I didn't quite catch that correctly.
Wait, did you start your new pack three days late?

Frank Hall18 said:Nothing's wrong, honestly... my OB-GYN didn't find anything at all. He didn't even really bother suggesting any extra tests or showing much interest, just kind of brushed it off saying it's normal for a lot of women and called it a day...

Vomiting, dizziness, chills, fevers, and abnormal pain—these aren't exactly "normal" things to just brush off.
And why mention only one doctor? Would you really rather just suffer through it and constantly pop pills instead of seeking a second opinion?

Rebecca White said:I mean, I won't just dump them right away. I'll probably keep them as a backup for a few months. Honestly, life gets crazy sometimes and I realize at the last second that I need a new prescription, so they might actually come in handy.
Even if I do toss them, whatever, it is what it is. 🤔
I just wanna know if it's okay to shift things around—like, if I finish the whole box and then end up only having one week's worth left before taking my break—and if doing that messes with the protection.

It’s all good—I was just curious. 🙂
I’d handle it the same way; there’s no reason to rush them straight into the trash.
And even if they do go, like you said, it’s honestly not a big deal.

Extending the break to two weeks—well, I don't think I would risk doing that without extra protection. After all, that basically means delaying the start of a new pack by a full week.
Just do whatever you originally planned.
And yeah, from what I understand, spotting mostly happens when you skip the pill-free interval—though it doesn't always have to be the case.
