So, I can just ignore that yellow warning triangle and move on? I checked out your link, and under risks, it says

I'm talking about the Trakt website here.

Every time I visit, things look totally different and everything just breaks. There’s this little warning triangle next to the URL in the corner. When I hover over it, it says "This page is not providing identity information. Your connection to this site isn't fully secure because some content (like images) isn't encrypted."

Anyone have an idea what I should do?

There’s this shield icon right by the warning triangle. I clicked the shield and chose "turn off protection for this site". It works fine now, but I still see that yellow triangle



But if I leave the site and come back later, everything goes blank again. Nothing works. My only option is to go through the whole process of disabling the protection all over again.

Is this even safe? 🙂

Just my two cents. I think talking about The Conspiracy is way too complex for a quick chat. You’d need days and days of digging just to scratch the surface. Actually, probably months if you want to actually prove anything solid.

It's good this topic is up. It brings out the fear. People are more hesitant to talk about conspiracy theories lately because they’re terrified of being labeled crazy—which is how Hollywood always portrays them anyway. Like Mel Gibson in that one movie, I can't remember the title right now.

I don't even know where to start since there are so many different rabbit holes. Honestly, I'm more worried about the people who refuse to believe any kind of conspiracy exists at all. There are plenty of those out there. My favorite area is politics. We see it every day, and even here in the States over the last decade, you can spot a million conspiracies. Not even theories, just plain facts.

It’s pretty interesting how movies use all those symbols from secret societies. Or look at today's pop singers; they're the most obvious example. Whether it's subliminal messaging or just mocking us "sheep," I don't know.

I think I’m going to skip the doctor visit after all. I’ve decided I was probably overthinking this. Sure, they say even a tiny scratch can be an issue, but honestly, these three little marks don't feel like much of a problem. If there's actually something wrong, the symptoms should show up in about 30 days, according to what I read. Maybe it'll be too late by then, but I guess I'll just take the risk. Plenty of people get bitten and don't bother with a checkup, and I really just have some minor scratches.

Small issue, big headache. A neighbor's dog bit me. I was out riding my bike, got a little too close to the dog, and it nipped my thigh. It didn't really bleed much, just left some bite marks and three tiny red spots that bled a little. Nothing major, just surface stuff. I already washed it with water and rubbing alcohol.

But now that I'm reading up on rabies, I'm starting to freak out because apparently even superficial wounds can be dangerous. What do you guys think?

Nice arguments. Since you're on their side, I guess it’s only natural that you’d back them up, but I doubt anyone actually buys what you're selling. People still read these threads, though, and they can see how much this whole debate feels like trolling rather than anything constructive. One guy writes a massive essay with barely any substance, while the other just needs to be the center of attention—making sure he gets the last word. If he doesn't, he just starts rambling nonsense.

Yeah, that guy is in a league of his own. He actually thinks Liverpool isn't the biggest club in England compared to Manchester United, and he clearly doesn't care about trophies. Wait, he actually went as far as claiming Arsenal FC is a bigger club than Liverpool FC, even though the Reds have five Champions League titles and they have zero. I guess logic just isn't his thing. 🙏

The title of this thread is Just more trolling over on Example. That's exactly what everyone is talking about.

Having spent more time lurking in the Example thread and other football discussions, I have to say the Example topic is where the trolling is most rampant. It isn't just about the trolling, though. You find off-topic nonsense on every single PDF, but it usually stays within reason. The Example thread is basically just a chaotic chat room masquerading as a football discussion, where people mostly argue about whether CR is gay, how Lionel Messi evaded taxes, or how Real Madrid fans are thugs and losers, and how Barcelonists are total pushovers and similar garbage.

It’s not just mentioned once or twice; it goes on for literal pages and pages. And when they aren't talking about that, they're onto something else. I don't know, yesterday and today there were pages upon pages dedicated to CR's bag. That's just pure trolling, and unfortunately, there's zero constructive debate to be found there.

Forum members like brightpilot6, Holger Badstuber, Eric Delko, Henry Lee84, Patrick Martin, and Tore haven't exactly been known for being constructive, nor do they seem to know how to hold a real conversation. Their priority is trolling, plain and simple, and whenever they actually try to join a discussion, they usually stumble.

So, now Holger is trying to turn the whole thing into a joke by opening this thread, hoping it would look like Maminh's Example, but obviously, it won't work out that way. Like, people think it's funny. It isn't. It's just trolling and nothing else.

If you're going to troll, at least do it well. Hands down, Delko and Henry Lee84 are the worst because they don't even get the joke. At least the others try.

The moderators aren't doing their jobs. It's about time they started.

Same as Jamie Nelson10, I enjoy a good Comedy or Horror. Maybe Action is my least favorite, but I still watch it.

His best work for me was in The Deer Hunter. I think that's his best movie, too. Ironically, it's not a Scorsese's film. 😁

He's a great actor, but I wouldn't put him among the all-time greats. He's done way too many roles based on that one thing over the last 20 years. I agree about Jack Nicholson in Flight Above 👍 though I'd also add his part in Heat, and maybe Peck in To Kill a Mockingbird. Kevin Spacey killed his role, but I wouldn't call it one of the best ever either. Just personal preference, I suppose. 🙂

Regarding the 30 Days of Night franchise, it’s just your average vampire flick, though I guess you have to admit the vampires look pretty good. Still, the old Dracula and that Swedish one are probably my all-time favorites.

I guess I love De Palma most because his framing is basically identical to Alfred Hitchcock's—he was his student, after all.🙂

I’m putting Scarface at number one, mainly because of how much freedom he let loose in that movie. It’s probably why it was rejected at first, but whatever, today it's considered one of Pacino's best. For me, it's the absolute best.

Next up is Carrie. It's a great horror flick with a masterclass ending. Plus, you get young John Travolta. 😁

The Untouchables—Robert De Niro played Al Capone perfectly; he actually was him. Sean Connery deserved an Oscar for that. That scene on the stairs at the station is easily one of the best-shot moments ever. Just perfect.

So, yeah, those are my top 3.🙂

Well, then stay with Jack, specifically the younger Jack. I guess those films that feel free usually follow this order from him. Easy Rider, Five Easy Pieces, Carnal Knowledge, The King of Marvin Gardens (same director as Five Easy Pieces), The Last Detail 🙏 and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (that one is pure freedom and rebellion)

Maybe also check out The Passenger by Antonia. It’s incredible what was happening during that era; they’re all great films. It's all within a six-year span, but watch out—I left one out because it isn't quite what you asked for, and that's CHINATOWN. It was recently named the best movie ever. You should see it even if there's no sense of freedom, mostly because it has the best screenplay ever written.

And all of that happened in the '70s 🙏 pretty insane run. Enjoy the mix of McQueen + Dean + Bogart = Nicholson😁
