So look, you basically get a 30-day grace period to register Windows before it starts nagging you. Just right-click on My Computer, hit properties, and once that window pops up, scroll all the way to the bottom—there’s an option right there to punch in your product key. As for those beta versions? I'm pretty sure you can snag a key directly from Microsoft's own site...

RC = Release Candidate RC. So, after bouncing around through a bunch of betas, we finally hit the RC stage. It’s not going to be a massive leap away from what the final version looks like, but don't get too comfortable—it's still very much in the testing phase...
