Chase Mastercard Standard card in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
bluebadger14 said:In your dreams...

If your credit limit is $3,500, then the item you’re buying can't exceed that amount...

Because if we followed your logic, someone taking out a 24-month installment plan could just go out and buy an $84,000 car.

Actually, that’s not right—let me fix that. It doesn't work like that with a Chase Mastercard. If we're talking about an individual Mastercard, Chase sets two different limits: one for your monthly spending and another specifically for installment purchases.
So, if you said your limit is $1167 (which is just your monthly limit), you actually have to call the card services at 01/3789-620 to find out your specific installment limit. You won't find it anywhere else unless you call that number or check your online banking portal. Your installment limit is probably way higher than your monthly one. Like, maybe $10,000 or more. And you can buy anything up to that approved amount. For example, if you bought something for $2500 over 24 months, your monthly payment would be $104.
After the purchase, your installment limit would drop to $0.83 (since $10,000 - $7,500 leaves you with $2,500).😉
Your monthly limit would also drop, so instead of having $1167 available, you'd have $1167 minus that $312.50 installment. For the next 24 months, your monthly Mastercard limit would sit at $1062.

Hope that clears things up! Does that make sense?👍
My eye is all red—my doctor took a swab, and this is what the report says

Sample, test: CONJUNCTIVAL SWAB - bacteriological
right eye swab
MICROBIOLOGICAL TEST RESULTS: GRAM + COCCI

What does that actually mean? I didn't see the results in person; I just logged into my patient portal and saw this entry from Sept 5th, but my eye is still irritated and red... On the left eye, it says the sample was sterile. Does this mean there's an infection, or am I misreading this?

Can anyone help me out?
Quick question about credit cards in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Can anyone here explain how credit limits actually work for charge cards versus revolving lines?
So, I’ve got a JPMorgan Chase charge card with a $4333 limit and a go-card set at 11,500. It costs me $2533. I don't have any other loans or anything.
Is it possible to ask for a bump in my limit, and if so, by how much? Would any kind soul be able to shed some light on this?

Maybe Anasib knows?😉

Taylor Doyle95 said:So, I’ve been using my Diners Club card for a while now, and they just sent over a replacement because my old one finally expired, which is fine, but I’m honestly a bit stuck on one thing—do I get a brand-new PIN with this new card, or am I supposed to just stick with the old one? I feel like I’ve been calling every single customer service number under the sun every day, and I swear, nobody seems to have a straight answer; it’s always just a bunch of "I think so," or "I don't think so," or some other vague nonsense.
It’s actually getting a little exhausting, because every time I call, the person on the other end starts grilling me like I'm some sort of suspect, asking when, where, who I am, where I'm from, and all sorts of personal stuff just to get a response that ends up being, "Well, I *think* so, but you should probably check with this other number instead."
Does anyone here actually know if I’ll be getting a new PIN in the mail, or should I just try using the old one?
I guess I'm just a little paranoid, maybe, because I can't help but worry about whether there's some kind of shady business or potential fraud going on, even though I know deep down that shouldn't be possible since the physical card is already right here in my hands... but still, the anxiety is there! It’s been about 10 days since the card arrived, and I've looked through all the paperwork they sent, but there isn't a single word about the PIN or whether the old one still works.

The old one stays the same. 👍

No allergies here, past or present. I've never actually had a full blood panel done before, so I asked my doctor to run one since I get my blood checked once a year anyway.

Hey everyone,

Just got back from my blood work. Can anyone help me make sense of these numbers that fell outside the standard ranges?

My MCHC came in at 347 (normal range is 320-345)

Differential count:
Neutrophils 43.0 (normal range 44.0-72.0)
Eosinophils 8.0 (normal range 0.0 - 7.0)

Does anyone know what this actually means?
Everything else looks totally fine and within the normal limits,
RBC - 5.40, ESR 4, hemoglobin 161, MCV 85.8, MCH 29.7, WBC 7.4, glucose 5.5, AST 15, ALT 28, GGT 47, iron 23.3, lymphocytes 45.0, monocytes 2.0, bands 1.0

Thanks in advance!
