I mean, I know I can figure it out, but I want to be 100% sure here—I really can't afford to mess this up. By the way, quick question: do I actually need to format everything and reinstall macOS after swapping out the motherboard?
Maybe I could just grab another 4GB stick from the Corsair Vengeance set I’m running right now—I guess that might work. Yeah, it's definitely that power supply.
I’m thinking about picking up a new ASUS ROG gaming motherboard—my main question is whether it’ll play nice with my current setup? Here’s what I’ve got: GTX 770 LC6560GP3 power supply 6GB DDR3 RAM i7 2600 (non-k) 3.40GHz 8MB Cache
Thanks in advance!
Oh, I should probably mention—I’m one of those people who cares just as much about how the parts look as how they actually perform!
It’s been running smoothly for about a year now—no issues at all—and I can overclock it without any trouble, so I guess there isn't really a problem here.
It looks nice, but for me, the best part about the Fractal Design North is how you can't even see the power supply or the hard drives—that's pretty much the main reason I went with it.
I'm thinking about picking up the Fractal Design North because I really love the look and the features it offers—but, as usual, I want to be absolutely sure it'll work with my current setup. Here’s what I've got so far:
ASRock H61M-S NVIDIA GTX 770 Gainward LC6560GP3 V2.3 - GREEN POWER
I guess I don't really need to list the rest. Thanks in advance!
A buddy asked me to put together a parts list for a gaming PC with a budget of $2000—so I figured I’d check in here to see if this looks alright or if maybe I should swap something out! Here’s the build: http://postimg.org/image/hct22fbj9/
So, I'm currently running a GeForce GTX series, but I really need an upgrade—something a bit more powerful, I guess. I'm looking for a card that can handle newer games on top settings without much trouble. Does anyone have any recommendations for something with great value? I don't quite have the budget to just go out and grab a GeForce GTX 780 right now—if I did, I probably would have already! THANKS!
