Does anyone know if the folks over at JPMorgan Chase are planning to launch an app for the iPhone?? My mom just picked up a new phone running Windows, and—surprise, surprise—the app isn't there. She used to rely on it constantly back when she was using her old Android device. :/

Is CNN really promoting this movie as if it were a full series??😕😕 I honestly can't wrap my head around it.
Malware on the forum? in Forum Help! ·
Starting today, I've been getting constant warnings from Google Chrome—it's refusing to let me access the forum because of some supposed "malicious software." Does anyone actually know what's going on here?🤷🤷

Thanks a lot, but what I’m really trying to get at is whether I am—legally speaking—obligated to pay any kind of tax if I move funds over to my checking account. Basically, I want to know if anyone is going to come knocking on my door just because I shifted some cash around, or more specifically, if the law actually requires it? If anyone out there has a definitive answer, please post it here 🙂

Personally, I move funds from my savings over to my checking, but I try to avoid depositing anything into the savings account itself; I really only use that specifically for my contract work. I suppose it shouldn't be an issue if you're just moving small amounts around, but since I file my own tax returns every year, I prefer to keep my savings account strictly for those specific earnings to ensure everything stays perfectly aligned. What exactly is the concern here—why would you need to make these transfers?

I had always envisioned my secondary account as a sort of dedicated savings vehicle. To be specific, my scholarship funds land there, and I have no intention of spending them—I'm looking to save. Every now and then, I might move maybe 100-$67 from my main checking over to that account, purely for the sake of building a nest egg—you know, just so I have a little something tucked away for rainy days 😉. However, a friend recently mentioned that transferring money into such an account might trigger some kind of tax implication, so I figured I'd ask here just to be absolutely certain I won't end up owing anything extra. It seems pretty intuitive that I should be able to shift money between my own two accounts without being penalized, don't you think? 🤷

Does anyone know if there's a tax hit when I move money between my own accounts—say, from my checking to my savings or vice versa? 🙂

Thanks, 🙂 edit: turns out I don't actually have a physical security token, so I gave them a ring—they told me they couldn't just mail one out and that I’d have to drop by a local Chase branch in person. Just figured I'd share in case anyone else runs into this headache.

Hi there,

I’ve been scouring the various threads here, but I couldn't find anything that quite matches my situation—so I'm starting a new one. I hope this doesn't break any rules regarding duplicate topics...

Here’s the deal: I had my Chase mobile banking app and the security token app fully set up and running on my android device. Everything was fine until I decided to perform a factory reset on my phone. After wiping everything, I went ahead and reinstalled both apps...

Now I've hit a wall. I can't actually use either application because they're both demanding an identification code and an activation code. I still have my ID code, but the activation code—which I believe was sent to my phone by the bank via SMS—is no longer valid.

To make matters worse, I don't own one of those physical hardware tokens; I've been relying entirely on the mobile version, which is currently useless. This means I'm effectively locked out of my online banking entirely. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks 😉
