I honestly couldn't care less about that guy.

Ricci is on a whole different level.

Man, my brain is absolutely fried from this heat

Hulk

I can't believe I actually thought putting Grosjean in a General Motors car was a good idea🤣

General Motors has their own version of Gasly in Grosjean, so I wouldn't count out McLaren just yet.

Lando Norris really blew me away personally; the kid drives like an absolute beast.

And what about McLaren? They're still trailing them in the standings, right? Honestly, they've been on a serious upward trajectory all season.

What on earth happened to Alfa Romeo? It’s like they had one decent showing and then just went into a total tailspin

Robert Cox46 said:Look, I’m not out here defending Sebastian Vettel. I’ve never even been a fan of his. But just try it yourself on a sim. Try hitting the grass at 124 miles mph and then fighting the oversteer to get back on track. How much control do you actually have over the car for the next 100 meters? Absolutely none. It’s hard for me to pin this on the Ferrari driver. And honestly, I hate seeing people break down footage frame by frame to analyze a driver's movements when, in real life, all of this happens unpredictably in just a second or two.
This whole way of looking at things isn't what racing is about. That should be the most important thing.

Then explain to me how Vettel suddenly regained total control of the car the moment Hamilton closed the door, after apparently having zero control just a second before.

I’m not trying to brag or anything, but I’ve been rocking my Redmi Note 6 Pro for almost six months now. Honestly? For the price I paid, I am absolutely thrilled with it. I haven't run into a single issue so far. Updates come through regularly, too—I even already snagged the Android 9 update from them.

I’m just totally over dealing with that crazy cat on Tapu.

Man, what a headache.

Where exactly did Lewis Hamilton go off the track?
F1 Montreal GP: June 7-9, 2019 in Formula 1 ·
Right after that, though, you see Vettel fight off the oversteer and start pulling the wheel left to track along the curve—it looks like he’s finally got things under control.

But just a heartbeat later, instead of staying left, Vettel lets go of the wheel. This causes the car to drift hard to the right, completely blocking the line Hamilton would've taken if he actually had room to maneuver.

That specific move to straighten the wheel, which put Vettel into The path of Hamilton, is what everyone thinks led the stewards to their unanimous decision to penalize him.

And honestly, this was obvious to anyone watching the onboard camera they showed the fans.

The guy kept bringing up "grass on the wheels" over and over, but then that grass mysteriously vanishes, and suddenly he’s got perfect control over the car again. It’s wild how that move to block Hamilton—which was clearly just an attempt to cover up a mistake—turned out to be a total masterstroke. That grip situation is bizarre; one second there's absolutely nothing there, and the next, it's like he's glued to the track.

Michael Jackson10 said:What if I decided to play director for the broadcasts here on the forum?

Oh, please. Go ahead and show me this "incredible" lap you’re talking about. I swear, I’ve watched every single replay and slow-motion angle available online, and I don't see what you're claiming to see. 🤷

Michael Jackson10 said:You had plenty of chances to see it all yourself. You watched the live broadcast, then you sat through the post-race studio analysis. They literally showed the telemetry—the way the steering input reacted to the car's position while he was fighting that snap oversteer. You saw him catch the rear end perfectly and keep his line. But of course, none of that matters to you. You’ve already made up your mind, and you aren't listening to anything else.
Look, you’ve got every right to your opinion, just like I’ve got every right to mine. ☕

Yeah, I saw that driver fly off the track because of a mistake, only to slam it back onto the racing line at full throttle just to cut Lewis Hamilton off. Seriously? Explain this to me: how is it that Vettel supposedly can't control his car one second, but the very moment he decides to block Hamilton, he suddenly has perfect mastery over the machine?
darkmarlin16 said:It was just like that moment in Azerbaijan when he lost focus for a split second and ended up staring at Lewis Hamilton instead.

That second steering jerk was nothing more than a cheap move to mask his actual intention of squeezing Lewis Hamilton out of the way.
That penalty was totally deserved. If Max had pulled a move like that on Sebastian Vettel, you can bet people would be showing up here looking for blood...
5 SECONDS HAHAHAHA! Justice is finally served!
Look, none of this is going to stick. At most, he might get a 0.5 or 0.6 penalty, but that’s about it. He missed his chance. He shut it down and he's walking away without any penalty at all.
