He absolutely veered right to close the gap, trying to squeeze him under a double slide to mask his move.

The guy just lost it. He had zero intention of staying on line; he cut hard to the right just to slam the other driver into the wall.
The guy is under massive pressure right now, so just give him some breathing room.
That was an incredibly dangerous move back onto the track. There absolutely needs to be a penalty for that kind of driving.
The gap in driver talent is just massive. Even with a slower car and a mountain of technical issues, this guy is performing absolute miracles behind the wheel. On the other hand, it’s pretty obvious Vettel was just riding the wave of that insane Red Bull machine.
The NOS button??

Man, he’s hitting it in less than a second!
I’m pretty sure Lewis Hamilton shaved more than two full seconds off his pace during those last four or five laps.

Sebastian Vettel definitely took control of that one.

I want them to shut the engine down the second they cross the finish line. I am so sick of hearing that annoying chanting and all that "Grazie Ragazzi, Bella machina" nonsense.

Honestly, the only thing more grating than that is that pathetic "Get in there Lewis" line.
I totally messed up Lando Norris

What a total circus with those numbers 🤣

Everyone is running on softs except him—he’s stuck on hards. 🤷

I honestly think it comes down to a poor start. The gap between these cars is just too massive for him to be burning through tires like that trying to catch Lando Norris.

Either way, I’m loving seeing McLaren actually push Red Bull Racing a bit on the track. It’s great to see some real progress, even if it means they're killing their tires in the process.
Rough start for Max Verstappen

McLaren looks incredible, and honestly, Lando Norris is the next big thing in Formula 1

Man, you totally shut me down with that one.

Let me ask you again: should penalties just be handed out whenever it's convenient for you? On one hand, someone gets punished, but then when the circumstances change and it would make for a better race, we're supposed to just look the other way for the sake of entertainment?

Give me a break... that game you're playing clearly has some seriously faithful physics enabled...

But let’s be real, you probably don't even ride a bike in real life...

We really should have waited until after the race to talk about this with a clear head...

Somebody please send me a photo, a GIF, or video evidence of Sebastian Vettel's wheels being in the air.

The driver doesn't even matter here. In a situation where Mercedes-Benz has double the points of anyone else, trying to manufacture drama for something this ambiguous is basically suicide for the sport...

So what, you're saying for the sake of "improving" the sport, some things should be punished strictly, but in other cases, we should just look the other way because the season is getting a bit boring and we need some excitement back?

Basically, if Max does it, the penalty is fine. But if Sebastian Vettel does it and gets a totally legitimate penalty, we should skip it just to keep Mercedes from winning everything so the show stays interesting?

The penalty is justified. Period.

EXCUSE ME????

After spinning out, a decent driver would have just jerked the wheel left, regained control, and kept going—fully owning the fact they blew their position through a mistake.

Sebastian Vettel Enterprises

You lose grip, you slide off, then suddenly you floor it, yank the steering wheel, and somehow slide right back onto the racing line using this "lost control" excuse. Then, once you've blocked everyone else from passing you, it’s like magic—suddenly you have total control again. Even though just seconds earlier, you were claiming the tires were totally useless because of the grass, and now everything is perfectly fine.

So you pick up a legitimate penalty and then play the victim.

There he goes again with the "get in There Lewis"

Luckily I've got the afternoon shift tomorrow, so I'll be able to watch every single second until the checkered flag.
