Looking for software for virtual tuning? in Software ·
It’s basically like you're virtually driving and tuning an NTFS drive 🤣 🤣 🤣
Handbrake subtitle issues in Software ·
Maybe give it a shot using SubRip (.srt) or Subtitle Edit to get those subtitles into an .srt format. Just make sure you name them exactly the same as the movie file and drop them into the same folder as the video, and you should be all set.
Handbrake will pick them up automatically on its own.

I actually managed to come out of it in pretty good shape... I just had to give them a ring three times over the phone and then follow up once in person at the office.

The folks over at AT&T wouldn't even notice a connection failure if they were practically standing on top of it.

My girlfriend is honestly something else when it comes to being cold—she’s perpetually freezing. Meanwhile, I’ve got it feeling like mid-July in my apartment all year round.

The temperature usually sits right around 108-110 degrees F, but when I'm transcoding movies, it jumps up to about 135-137 degrees F—even with regular dust vacuuming keeping things clean.

I was thinking about pushing my 2.93 GHz Pentium up to 3600... how far can I actually go before everything just goes up in smoke?
Piracy?! in Software ·
Keith Phillips3 said:I honestly doubt piracy will ever truly go away, regardless of how much they drop the prices. It’s just human nature—no matter how cheap things get, there's always going to be someone who thinks it's still overpriced. Plus, when you have those alternative ways to get things for free, it becomes a habit. It’s just too easy to find what you need elsewhere.
At the end of the day, it's like people here; everyone has their own preferred dentist or family doctor, and I guess everyone has their own personal pirate they go to.
Especially if they don't feel like hunting through the web themselves. 😁

Well, they really brought this on themselves when they started charging prices like they were selling you salvation itself. If I had actually shelled out for Windows XP Professional back then, I'd probably be running a machine right now that wouldn't even have the juice to boot up Windows XP.

Linda Peterson4 said:Man, that list you put together... it’s just an absolute mountain of viruses, spyware, and adware. Truly overwhelming. 😬

Maybe so, but honestly, any user with half a brain knows you don't just wander onto those kinds of sites without a rock-solid setup. You need your antivirus, your anti-spyware, a solid firewall, and you definitely shouldn't be using Internet Explorer. Personally, I’ve never picked up a single piece of malware from there; I always find exactly what I'm looking for.

Maybe they have a few more originals out there, but if you look at it from another angle, we didn't just conjure these sites out of thin air like
The Pirate Bay
Google
Crackfound
CrackSearchEngine
Crack.ru
AstaSearch.com
TorrentFreak
Crack.MS
Microsoft Windows
freeserials.com
...or piles of torrent sites filled with movies—you know, everything from stuff hitting theaters before they even premiere to old classics and entire discographies. Honestly, the whole industry is to blame here. They set prices so high, it’s like they think they have to rebuild every single album or software program from scratch every time someone buys it, rather than just sitting back and collecting millions in royalties. And don't even get me started on the retailers; they act like they need to make enough profit on a single CD to buy a brand-new Ford F-150.

With
Handbrake, you can just name the subtitle file the exact same thing as the movie and keep them both in the same folder—it'll pick it up automatically. Or, if you're feeling a bit lazy and don't want to mess with renaming everything, you can just manually select the track from the menu.
It's usually best to keep those subtitle files in ".srt" format.
