If you're looking for experience treating pudendal neuralgia, Professor Roger Robert’s team in Nantes, France, has probably seen more than anyone else in Europe. At least when I was digging into this a few years back, they had the best track record... Good luck to everyone.

They'll always learn how to behave in class. 😬

There are exceptions, of course, but plenty of teachers and professors just aren't up for the task.

Or they'll just get two kids and if they have no clue what they're doing, it doesn't matter because they sit there quietly during class and don't listen to a word anyway. Much easier for the teacher.

Anyone expecting our school system to raise children or act as therapists today... they've gotta be out of their minds.

How much did that little cat weigh? This whole situation sounds more like postoperative complications... I'd just settle down and wait a few weeks, no exercise. Then, if things haven't improved, head back to OB-GYN surgery before even thinking about abdominal specialists. You have to rule out the possibility that the procedure wasn't done right or that something went sideways during the operation first.

An inguinal hernia in the stomach is about as likely as a skin tag on your elbow, so other options really need to be looked into. Good luck 🙂

That doesn't necessarily mean you're in the clear. He "reliably" missed two inguinal hernias of mine, which sent my entire diagnostic process down a dead end. I spent another two years in miserable pain before finding a surgeon who actually spotted them and operated. If I had been smart enough to doubt his findings from the start, I would have saved myself two years of absolute agony.

I don't have any first-hand experience, but I heard from someone else that Dujo Kovačević at the Mayo Clinic handles surgical treatments for pudendal neuralgia. Apparently, a patient I know just had the procedure there and seems to finally be done with years of misery.

Good luck to anyone dealing with this...
Maybe consider this: xiphoid process issues could be causing the pain. It’d probably feel bilateral since it’s centered, but still worth looking into.

Try applying some light pressure... see if that makes the pain worse.

If you're looking at surgery to fix this, you'll need to track down a top-tier urogynecologist.

Not sure if this has been shared yet since I haven't caught up on everything, but there's a book out where the authors look into the link between wearing bras and breast cancer. Haven't read it myself, but here's the link if anyone's interested: http://www.amazon.com/Dressed-To-Kil.../dp/1930858051

This type of woman... if she’s your boss (classic narcissistic trash), you can buy her off easily with a few compliments—preferably about her looks. Once that's done, you just run your own show. Anything you don't want to do, you dodge with a smile and a convincing, possibly made-up excuse. Just keep up the weekly dose of flattery until she finds a new victim. They'll eat out of your hand, and you can do whatever you want with them. It's the easiest kind of boss to manipulate.

The thermal baths in Zreče are nearby, along with a cute little zoo in Slovenska Konjica. You can feed the animals there too, and they're right by the stay. Everything was spotless... no smells at all.

Hosts were incredibly sweet and easy to talk to. Food, location, cleanliness... looking at the reviews on booking.com, everything hits a 9.5. Personally, I’d give them a 10. 🙂

The crowd isn't going to his office; he’s based in Germany. Though, maybe I jumped the gun on accusing him. It might just be the fissure causing issues—honestly, that feels more likely. Until I get a new diagnosis, I can't say for sure if he actually botched it.

I do know there are cases where hemorrhoids return after an IBM procedure, and in those instances, you can just do it again. You'll even see it stated on the websites of clinics that perform the surgery, like Arither's:

http://arithera.com/en/proctology

... If for any reason the procedure did not result in a satisfactory way, it can be repeated...

Unfortunately, that’s not how it works. For me, they came back seven months after the surgery. Whether that’s because the procedure wasn't handled right or just how my body reacts... who knows.

They did come back, though. Just nowhere near the levels I had before the operation...

The medical advice I got on this was actually to stay away from them... they basically just increase the pressure on the critical area.

From my own experience, recovery is long and painful... at least in my case. Good luck to anyone claiming they were back to running a marathon after just a week.
The frequent, painful bathroom trips stick around much longer than you'd expect. It's been six months since my IBM procedure, and I’m still dealing with pain and averaging three trips a day.
I hope things go better for you, but you'll need patience...

I agree, something isn't right. It's been five months since my IBM combined with laser hemorrhoid reduction, and while I don't have pain anymore—just plenty of improvements—it's different. Actually, I'm back to how things were when I was younger, where I could go several days without a movement. That constant urge to go was mostly because the hemorrhoids were large and creating pressure. Maybe you've still got some lingering pressure?

It's the same deal with bloating. Once the internal hemorrhoids shrunk, it finally stopped (thank God).
Based on what I went through, I'm convinced incomplete bowel clearance can cause that bloating.

You definitely need that checkup. If your surgeon tells you everything is fine and you still feel off... find a new one.

Jason Nelson80, those skin flaps are basically what Americans call "anal skin tags," so feel free to Google that if you want.
It's benign, and doctors usually avoid removing them unless they're causing actual issues, mostly because the success rates for that procedure aren't great...

Bright red bleeding is a classic sign of internal hemorrhoids, which can get painful if they swell up. Of course, it could be something else entirely, and while it's unlikely to be anything serious at your age, if you want total peace of mind... just go get a colonoscopy.

Edward Kern3, honestly, Pavlovich won't be able to do much if it's actually fungal, though it could be... You can apply it to help the skin heal a bit, but it probably won't solve the root issue.
Standard practice is for them to write you a prescription for Johnson & Johnson, ExxonMobil, or Tylenol if they suspect fungus or something else.
Waiting two weeks is way too long. Just hit up an urgent care clinic and get it sorted.

Jessica Hill69 said:My doctor is out until after New Year's, so I'm stuck asking here before I lose my mind... maybe someone knows something.
I've been dealing with hemorrhoids ever since I gave birth.
They show up, then they hide.
For the last two weeks, the skin around my anus has been itching like crazy... driving me insane.
I can hold myself together during the day, but at night I scratch unconsciously 👎 and then it stings because of the tiny cracks, and it burns when I go to the bathroom.
Now there's a burning sensation in that area in front and back...
At first, I thought maybe my stitches from the postpartum surgery had opened up, causing the stinging.
I grabbed a mirror to check. It looks terrible... 🙄
But what worries me most is that the skin around my anus looks whitish in some spots.
What should I do? How can I help myself until after the holidays? What does that whitish skin mean?

Could be a fungal infection. I used to get them all the time before my hemorrhoid surgery because the internal prolapse caused moisture to irritate the surrounding skin, leading to occasional infections with itching and burning.

Try not to scratch whenever you can. I’d cautiously try applying ExxonMobil cream (twice a day) until your doctor gets back from the holidays. If it gets worse, stop.

Just stop. I don't want to have to log in just to deal with your mindless FAKE posts. I'll check back later to see if this guy actually delivers or if I'm getting scammed again like a few times before...

What "same surgeon"? I have zero clue which doctor Tomislav or bugi went to, or even plan on seeing, but the odds of them picking my guy out of everyone in all of Europe are basically zero...

I never recommended a surgeon to you, and you didn't ask. Also, trying to pin your own lies on everyone else is pretty childish...

You won't get surgery, but you've been "scammed a few times already"? Not making much sense...

Of course you don't need surgery! The percentage of people who actually need a hemorrhoid procedure to stay alive is tiny... practically negligible. Most people go their whole lives without ever needing anything done...

P.S. Just realized bugi is basically a toddler who's somehow managed to drop 159 posts claiming to "live on this forum" at 4 years and 8 months old...🤣

Gregory Bailey18 said:First off, good evening.

So, two days after a bowel movement, I felt this slight discomfort while sitting at my computer, but that’s happened before when things were a bit stubborn, so I didn't think much of it. But today, after using the bathroom, I felt a lump while wiping. I checked in the mirror; it's skin-colored and right on the anus.

At first, I thought maybe hemorrhoids, but I'm a little worried since I'm only 16. Plus, it doesn't really hurt or bleed, which just leaves me confused.

Does anyone have an idea what this could be? I'd really rather avoid talking to my parents or a doctor about this unless it's absolutely necessary. Maybe I should just wait a few days and hope it goes away? 😢

You can definitely get hemorrhoids at 16.
What you're describing sounds like an external hemorrhoid, and it'll likely resolve itself, but a proctology exam is the only way to be certain. Just talk to your doctor; there's no reason to be embarrassed. More than half the population deals with this, and honestly, your little lump probably isn't much different from millions of others. 😉

If you aren't ready for a doctor yet, try switching to yogurt, veggies, and fruit (not bananas) for a few days and see how it develops... 🙂
