Here are a few shots I managed to snap from Lisa’s bridal boutique over in Indianapolis:

Anyone here ever dealt with a cake smothered in white chocolate? What’s the verdict? My husband and I want it covering the whole thing 😍 😍 😍

I'm definitely skipping the whipped cream, he can't stand marzipan, and honestly, neither can I 🤷
As for fondant... I was at a wedding this past Saturday where the cake looked artificial and plastic, even if it was pretty. I've got a photo at home I'll post later. The fondant layer was thick as a watermelon rind and way too sweet. Even the sponge was a disaster—so much sugar it actually tasted bitter 👎. The only saving grace was the filling: smooth, creamy, and chocolatey.
So, regarding fondant 👎👎👎

Adelina and Auntie, thanks 🙂
Honestly, spraying sounds way better to me than hitting a tanning bed. I can't deal with those UV lamps anyway—my doctor said they're a bad idea after my surgery. And you're right, there's no need to go ten times before seeing a difference. The boutique over in Chicago is much closer to me than the one in Seattle, so I think I'll just head there to ask some questions and try it out. I'll definitely let you know how it goes 😍

Sorry if I'm repeating myself... I read somewhere that this was discussed, but I can't find the thread anymore 😢 over by the local Sephora, they offer spray tanning. Does anyone know what the going rate is for that? Please help 🙄

Some cheesy "newlyweds" theme for the cake

Does anyone happen to know of a good flower nursery around here??
The one I was planning to visit just shut its doors (what a disaster!), and since my mom and I are hoping to decorate our lounge ourselves, we're feeling a bit lost!
Can anyone help me out...

Try the garden center near Unicum.
Or Garden Center South.
Located in St. Louis, obviously. 😍
If you want the specifics, shoot me a DM. 😉

My take:
I haven’t stepped foot in the Classic room myself, but word on the street is it gets stifling. Between the dancing and the heat, you’ll end up feeling as sticky as if you fell face-first into a jar of honey. People say the AC is just mediocre. 😢
The Varga catering setup looks nothing special—just standard and tidy—and the restrooms are decent. The food? Actually great, I'll give them that. BUT! Whatever you do, don't let the owner try to "DJ" using his laptop. It is an absolute train wreck.
Everyone raves about Vigor Band, but my dream lineup would be a jukebox band. 🙏
I first heard them about five or six years ago and was instantly hooked. Since I've been in the music industry for eleven years—and since I happen to be dating a musician—I've been lucky enough to meet the whole crew. My boyfriend is a killer drummer, so they’re definitely my go-to band. 👍

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some intel on the Isabelle bridal boutique over in Indianapolis. Does anyone know what kind of damage a dress rental actually does to your wallet? What’s the typical price range? Also, what exactly comes included in the deal, how many days before the big day can I actually take the dress home, and who's stuck footing the bill for the cleaning?

Here's one along those lines: 😍

Hope I hit the mark. 😁

Arthur Ramos said:You could drop them under restaurant decor, or if they’ve got a nautical vibe, maybe under "Wedding Theme: Ocean." Personally, I'm looking for some wild ideas involving seashells. I'm not really feeling the whole "print it on paper" thing—maybe I could etch something onto a shell or a smooth stone... I don't know, I'm just thinking out loud here...🤷😂

Or maybe there's a thread for "DIY Invitations, Thank You Notes, Party Favors, etc."

Consider it done. 🙏
Gotta run, but I'll be back later with some new photos. Peace out. 🙂

Lisa Collins85 said:👍 these cakes look incredible... honestly, I'd probably feel bad cutting into some of them 🙂

Glad you're a fan too.🙂
And you're right—it feels like a crime to slice them when they're basically fine art.

Arthur Ramos said:seriously though, where on earth are you getting all these cakes from??? like, drop the recipe or something. anyway, do you have any ideas for those little table cards... maybe throw a photo or two up there so we can actually see what we're dealing with...

It’s just what I do. I’ve got a wild imagination and I'm hoping to make it big as a wedding planner one day.😍
As for the cards, which thread are you talking about?
