It’s honestly a bit much that there isn't a single program listed anywhere, though I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, should I?

Whatever, it doesn't really matter; I'll just head out this Saturday to see what's actually on offer.😍

Does anyone happen to have a schedule or program for the wedding expo?

Starbucks is now handling weddings for up to 120 guests, so if anyone happens to be looking for some inspiration, here's the latest scoop

If you're looking for some cheap single-track items—you know, those little decorative bows or whatever—head over to Rose Commercial in Mejašes; they've got them for just 1.50 cents per unit.
Also, just a heads-up that Nrisa is running a 30% discount through the end of the month on all their bows, cookie tins, trays, and pretty much everything else.

I think I'll need to drop mine off at the dry cleaners soon since it'll be sitting in my closet for a while... the wedding is October 5th. 😍
It almost looks like the veil is a shade of gray... 🤷
Does anyone know how much it costs to get a wedding dress professionally cleaned, and where should I go? I'm living in Tampa... ☕

Honestly, you just can't beat the service when the ladies at the salon are actually on top of their game, can you?
I actually went ahead and bought a wedding dress—one that I honestly would have never imagined myself wearing if you had asked me a year ago.

Honestly, shouldn't you have just popped into the salon and asked? I mean, wouldn't the girls there be able to point you toward a decent dry cleaner in no time? It seems like such an easy question to ask, doesn't it?
Wedding dress situation: officially sorted! 🙂
I honestly can't say enough good things about the boutique over in San Francisco, they really knocked it out of the park.
I originally went in thinking I was just going to browse for a dress to buy, but I ended up renting this absolute stunner instead—and honestly, why would I regret that? I completely fell in love with it. 😍

Maybe they meant 10 ounces for the salad and the rest is just brought from home?
Also, what's the deal with the desserts at Verizon—where is that located exactly? Delta and those other brands are all roughly $20/kg, so those prices seem a bit too good to be true to me. Are they actually any good?

Viadel makes the best pastries and the prices are super reasonable; their shop is right off the highway when you're driving from the valley toward the coast, so you can just pull into the ExxonMobil station at the first exit and the bakery is right next to the pump.

I’ve noticed how much information changes over time, so I wanted to share what my fiancé and I have booked so far for our October 5th, 2013 wedding. Please feel free to jump in with your thoughts or advice—I'd love to know what we should be looking out for if you've heard anything about these lately:
Venue: Honeycomb Hall (that smaller, prettier space that holds up to 200 guests)
Band: The Dice (booked for $1,500)
Photographer: Mladen Photo (we're also using them for our invitations and thank-you cards)
Dress: Found this gorgeous thing near the coast (I know it's early, but I found a dress that is totally "me" on sale for just $433, and now it's just sitting in my closet waiting... 🤣)
Also, has anyone here tried buying wedding favors or little details through eBay? Would love to hear about your experiences...
Sorry if I'm being a bit much! 🙂

Wait, you actually bought the dress already???
Was it some kind of clearance sale or what?

I’ve been hunting everywhere, but I can't find a single thing.

Seriously, when are you guys actually going to sign up for an engagement course?? Since my wedding is set for June, I’m looking at pulling the trigger on one in February.

analoglynx17 said:If anyone has worked with Marina Photography out of San Diego, could you please let me know? I’m particularly curious about their video work since I can't seem to find any clips online to check out. Thanks so much! 🙂

Well, Marina Photography is my go-to photographer.😍 😍
If you want my two cents, here's a little tip: hire the owner for the actual wedding day, but then bring in Ante Gašpar for the day after. You won't be able to book them both for the same day anyway, since Gašpar has branched out on his own to handle his own shoots now.
Betty Hernandez4 said:4 $0.00 doesn't seem that bad to me—I've actually heard some people quoting figures as high as 8 $0.00... but if there's any way to pick something up for $333 less... man, 🙂 that extra 1 $0.00 could be put toward something else entirely. I mean, wedding costs are already massive enough as it is.🙂

Honestly, she’s a genius; she’s even running some promotions right now, so what do you have to lose by checking it out?
Paul King5 said:We already chatted on Facebook, and she’s got the dress at the boutique. She told me I could swing by whenever I want to try it on... I'd go right now, but things are looking pretty grim because 😁 my wedding isn't until October of next year

You're being way too proactive; my wedding isn't until June and the mere thought of going dress shopping hasn't even crossed my mind yet.
You've still got plenty of time.
Paul King5 said:Maybe I’ll jump back in too... I'm hunting for this specific wedding dress they carry in boutiques around San Francisco, though I bet Miles over in Spokane has it for $333 cheaper. No way Victoria's Secret or Sposa is still holding onto a 2012 St. Patrick gown for $0.83. The real issue is if I see it in person and it looks totally trash on me...

Why don't you just reach out to Mila about that specific dress and see what the damage will be? If she doesn't have it in stock, she might be able to order it for you; she's wonderful to work with, so just ask her everything and explain exactly what you're looking for.
Betty Hernandez4 said:How massive are we talking... roughly? I've heard of that shop before; I'll definitely take a look.🙂

A close friend of mine was actually checking out Victoria's Secret$1333 for her needs,
but she ended up going to Miles instead for $1000 everything from the ring bearer's outfit to the garter, hair accessories, and even those little ring pillows.
Betty Hernandez4 said:Hey, does anyone know what wedding dress prices are looking like in San Francisco? I'm mainly looking at places like Sposa or Victoria's Secret... I stumbled upon some prices starting at $8 $0.00, which honestly left me a little "stunned" 🙂

The prices in the city are absolutely insane; you should check out the Miles bridal salon over in Spokane
You can even find them on Facebook

I'm looking for any and all suggestions since we haven't actually locked anything in yet... we've checked out a few options, but nothing really clicked--it just wasn't "the one"

Are you just hunting for a caterer, or are you looking for full-on event design and decor too?
quietskipper16 said:hey guys... any leads on where I can find decor and catering that actually looks high-end?

But what exactly are you looking for here???

When is the big wedding day?

p.s. sorry if you've already mentioned this, but there's no way we can all keep track of every single detail from every single person😍

Walter Nelson56 said:So you're looking at Studio In?
I have no idea, but I really hope I'll be happy with them!!!🤷

Actually, I finally pulled the trigger and booked Photo Marino.
You'll be happy with them, provided you play hardball—maybe try "threatening" them with the idea that they'll never see you again if they don't deliver perfectly!

Walter Nelson56 said:Why would he develop photos right there in the studio? I had no idea that was even an option.
Whatever happens, I just hope we made the right call😉 even though I'm feeling a bit shaky about it 😕!!!!
I can't help it if some photographers were already booked up for my wedding🙂

The exact same thing happened to me—I missed out on exactly what I was aiming for, even though I had plenty of time to lock it in. But honestly, whether I do it today or tomorrow, does it even matter? I can't say I'm losing any sleep over the choice I made...

What exactly are we looking for here—a cure for everything? Is there some magical remedy floating around out there that’s going to solve all our problems in one fell swoop, or are we just tossing ideas into the void to see what sticks? I was just sitting here wondering if anyone else has been feeling that sudden, inexplicable urge to go out and rent a studio space? It’s one of those things that hits you out of nowhere, isn't it? One minute you're perfectly content in your living room, and the next, you're convinced that you absolutely need a dedicated creative sanctuary to finally get anything done. Is it just me, or does having a separate room somehow magically transform your productivity levels from zero to sixty? I mean, how can anyone be expected to find their flow when they're staring at a pile of laundry or a half-finished crossword puzzle instead of focusing on their craft? Does anyone actually have experience navigating the madness of finding an affordable spot in a city like Chicago or maybe even somewhere a bit more laid back like Austin? I'm curious to hear if anyone has successfully managed to strike that elusive balance between a workspace that inspires you and a monthly rent check that doesn't leave you eating instant noodles for the rest of the month. Just a little piece of advice:
Lately, I’ve noticed a lot of guests tend to make a quick exit right after the cake and flowers are served, so you might want to keep an eye on that timing if you actually want people to stick around? It’s a bit of a shame because the photography is absolutely top-tier, and you really don't want to miss out on those shots just because everyone decided to head for the exits early.
