That’s definitely out of my budget. If I were in your shoes, I’d look for a venue that specializes in catering—somewhere that handles these kinds of events every single weekend rather than just once in a while—and where the $40 price tag actually includes the drinks too.

Does anyone here have any experience working with Foto Color or a wedding in California?

I honestly can't say enough good things about the boutique over in San Francisco, they really knocked it out of the park.
I originally went in thinking I was just going to browse for a dress to buy, but I ended up renting this absolute stunner instead—and honestly, why would I regret that? I completely fell in love with it. 😍

If anyone happens to have more intel on the venue, or maybe some pro tips, please let me know. My inbox is always open for a DM. Since I’m living over in St. Louis, I’m actually considering hosting the wedding in Savannah instead. That way, we don't have to force the entire guest list to trek all the way to Savannah after the ceremony. What do you guys think about that plan?
Thanks!!!

I’ve been reading through everything from the start—there is a massive amount of info here—so while I work my way through the archives, I’ll just lay out what we're looking for. If anyone can help, thanks in advance 😛
We’re based in Los Angeles, and the wedding needs to happen within the next 10 months 😉
We both love the outdoors—we have roots in rural areas—and we want a venue near a river that can host up to 200 people (we're finalizing the guest list this weekend)
The main issue: guests are coming from all over the country, so it would be great to get lodging sorted immediately for those traveling from far away
Our wishlist: plenty of food—more than enough—that stays replenished; waiters who are smiling, quick, unobtrusive, yet helpful; a band that covers everything from classic rock to mainstream hits and actually knows how to keep the energy up (I have zero patience for bad performances); and a photographer who can deliver unique shots with the thank-you photos ready by midnight at the latest
Current short list: a local steakhouse in Riverside, a bistro in Riverside, or maybe Castle Slanica at the Radmanov mills...
Viva is already booked, and they were our top pick
Regarding photographers, does Fox seem like the best bet?
And we need to pull all of this together in about 4 months tops...
Thanks to everyone helping me out

Anonymous said:haha, my family basically held a meeting and decided that if we can pull it off, it’d be better if my best man goes to the course with me instead 🙄
Do I need to show this to anyone in management? Or could this actually fly? 😕

I'm having this one person do my boutonnieres. She does amazing work and her prices are actually reasonable.

Does that Trader Joe's flower shop have a website I could check out? I wanted to browse their stuff a bit... and also, where exactly are they located? I couldn't seem to find anything online...🤷
I'm planning on hitting up a few different flower shops today, so I figured I might as well swing by there too if it's on my way...🙂
