One of these has an apostrophe-s at the end of the word 😉
So, I tried out that movie trivia recommendation yesterday... my friend and I sat down to tackle it, and we only managed to get 42 right. 😵
I’m honestly losing my mind here—can anyone help me out? If there are any trivia buffs online who can lend a hand... hellooo? The biggest headache for us was this one question about some stairs and two guys standing on them... they were from two different movies, but the prompt treated them like they were just one film. 😕
The second annual festival dedicated to experimental short films and music videos is hitting the Student Union from September 20th through the 24th.
Seriously, you guys have to head over to the Student Center on the 24th. You don't want to miss these—some of these music videos are absolutely Jeben. This lineup is just... wow.

Whoa, Blackalicious—I have to ask, they have that killer album, I think it's called Blazing Arrow... By the way DJ Vadim is in the house!!! I love listening to the radio live🙂

Actually, you didn't lose them... you just had to go into the profiles.ini file and manually change "StartWithLastProfile=1" from a zero to a one. For some reason, the system sets it to zero, and nobody seems to know why!
Hey everyone! So, I’m officially an adult now, which means I actually have to pick out my own gynecologist for the first time... Any recommendations????? (But please, nothing private) btw, does anyone know where Dr. Latin practices??? Thanks
On my first day, I managed to wear them for maybe an hour and a half... and even then, it was a struggle. I spent the whole time just staring at the floor. At first, my optometrist gave me the soft lenses, but they just didn't sit right with my eyes. Then she switched me over to the semi-rigid ones, and those actually felt great. Honestly, the lenses themselves aren't the issue—it's this constant watering that drives me crazy.
I’m curious, how long did it take you guys to actually get used to soft contact lenses? To be honest, I’ve been wearing mine for about a week now... and it’s been a total nightmare.👎 They’re constantly irritating my eyes... they won't stop watering... I can't even look around normally. For example, if I'm looking straight ahead and then turn my head to the right, my eyes just start flooding up immediately.😠 What should I do? I had absolutely no idea this would be such a struggle... and now I feel like my eyes are super dry, yet they keep tearing up constantly! 😕 ...The instructions say you're supposed to wear them for about 7 hours a day for the first week, but I can barely make it through 5 hours without feeling miserable!
Yeah, I hear you on Roots Manuva. I caught his set, but honestly, it didn't really hit the mark for me. It felt like he was totally checked out, you know? He wasn't exactly giving the crowd ANY LOVE... so we definitely weren't feeling him either. That said, I still dig his stuff. Jurassic 5? Blackalicious? RJD2?
Here’s what happened to me, and how it all actually started: I used to be a hyper-hygienist, and it was honestly terrifying. I felt this intense physical revulsion toward touching anything—whether it was a subway pole or just random surfaces in public. I’d go out of my way to avoid anyone I deemed "dirty." It got so bad that I couldn't even bring myself to hug my mom or sister; I’d practically walk a mile out of my way to avoid physical contact with them. Interestingly, though, I always felt fine being around my dad. I was scrubbing myself so aggressively that my face looked sunburnt and red, my neck was raw, and my back was chafed from using a scrub brush too hard. I’d wash everything with heavy-duty laundry soap or harsh antiseptic. I wouldn't even touch a doorknob in my own house; I’d use my foot to push doors open instead. I’d hide in the bathroom or my bedroom whenever my mom was doing laundry or taking out the trash. I had terrible acne, and I convinced myself that if I could just become flawlessly clean, my skin would clear up. I changed my pillowcases and pajamas every single night. I’d spend hours in the shower, and I refused to leave the house without washing at least three times a day. This went on from the 7th grade all the way through my junior year of high school. I saw psychiatrists, psychologists, and even tried some holistic healers. I was supposed to start medication, but I refused. Then, one summer, something just clicked, and I slowly started getting better. I’m clean now, more or less—I’ve managed to overcome that paralyzing fear and misery. But then, something else shifted, and now I find myself wondering if this ever truly ends. Now, I'm obsessed with eating only "fresh" food. I only eat bread baked today, fresh fruit, and fresh vegetables—the kind you see in commercials. I won't touch anything that has been opened, like spreads or pâté, especially if the packaging looks nearly empty or if someone else has eaten from it before me... and there's something else even weirder. I can't say a word if it ends in a certain vowel or if it contains only one specific vowel. Unless it's a combination, like an adjective followed by a noun, such as a yellow building 😉, I end up struggling for hours just to compose a simple sentence. I have a few other grammatical rules I follow to bypass the issue. When does it all finally stop?
