Abraham Lincoln, I was just looking through some photos and realized I finally got those credits for what happened a few weeks back.

CDs or Vinyl? Who's actually crazy?

Look, I’ve got about 7,000 tracks sitting on my hard drive, all MP3s. About half of them I ripped myself from a buddy's original copies, and honestly, I’m stoked with how they sound (I use VBR ripping with LAME and AudioGrabber at 256kbps+). I haven't run into any major issues with quality yet. It never even crossed my mind to go out and buy the physical albums—I mean, what's the point? You just end up with a CD that has some sticker on it and a pretty cover with a few pictures, and that's $43. For me, it's way easier to just hop online and grab whatever I want. If they were even half the price, I wouldn't be spending all my time hunting stuff down on the web. Instead, I spend my entire day downloading
.
By the way, how much space does an MP3 library actually take up on a disk 😁

Psoriasis [PLEASE READ FIRST POST!]
in Health ·
So, I’m checking in here for the very first time. I’m 16 years old, and I’ve been dealing with psoriasis since I was two. It’s always been there, but honestly, I never really focused on actually fixing it... I just spent my life trying to hide it under long sleeves, pants, hair, or accessories. We didn't even know what it was back then, and the only doctor we ever saw just kept insisting it was psoriasis. I’d see a specialist maybe once every couple of years because life just got in the way...
But about six months ago, I finally decided to stop running from the problem. I was so sick of hearing people say, "Oh, it's just an allergy," when I knew it was more than that. That's when I truly accepted the diagnosis...
I’m the only one in my family dealing with this, and it’s a secret between me and my mom. For some reason I can't quite wrap my head around, she doesn't want anyone else to know about it.
But anyway, that's not really the point...
About a month ago, I was still in denial and basically refused any kind of treatment. But today, I found myself Googling "psoriasis" and realized I actually want to get rid of this. I mean, I know it's part of who I am and it'll likely always be around, but I just want the scales to disappear...
I’m an athlete, and no matter how hard I train, my immune system always seems to be the weak link, which is why I struggle. I'm not sure if I'm the first to deal with this, but I feel like I'm constantly fighting an uphill battle. I've lost so many competitions just because of this—like losing focus while trying to pull off socks or gear... I honestly feel like the psoriasis is why I've struggled so much.
I really want to find a solution...
I've read some stuff about fish oil treatments, but honestly, I think that's total BS. I don't have the time for those kinds of sudden, intense regimens, but I am curious about this nano-juice...
If anyone knows anything about where to get it or if it's actually as good as they say, could you please take a few minutes to let me know?
I'm officially a member here now, and I'm just glad I don't feel so alone in all of this anymore. Cheers! 😉 🙂

I think we’re looking at this all wrong—take housing savings programs, for example. There are only about four major players in the US, and they all operate under the exact same Housing Savings Act. I’ve seen plenty of financial comparisons in the news and online, and they always show that they’re basically identical, differing by maybe a few bucks at most.
What they’re actually selling is the SERVICE and the Marketing Inc. side of things. They compete on who can offer better perks, extra services, or those little "bonus" incentives.
But when you crunch the numbers, it all ends up being the same.
For me personally, what matters is having someone give me the straight truth, just like I wrote above.
I don't want some clueless clerk behind a Chase counter looking me in the eye and lying to my face, saying stuff like, "You know, we're the only ones who refund that 1% contract fee; none of the other banks do that."
Oh, please! Don't insult my intelligence!
That kind of nonsense really gets under my skin.
Anyone working at an institution that handles three different housing plans isn't going to be honest with you—they couldn't care less which one they sell you...
In my opinion, that's just the objective reality.😉

Hair regrowth tips?

I'm 19 years old, and my biggest struggle right now is dealing with really thin hair...
I look at some professors sometimes and notice they have much thicker hair than I do...
I went in for a checkup, and they told me the shedding is being caused by excess oil buildup...
I've been using a product called Samson for about four months now, and I think my hair has started growing back slightly, though it's still falling out—just not as aggressively as before...
Is anyone else here using that specific product? Or does anyone know of something else that could help thicken things up faster?
I tried Pilfud too, but it just makes my hair feel incredibly greasy, which drives me crazy, and honestly, it hasn't been that helpful...
Does anyone have any advice or positive experiences to share?
Thanks.

Edward Jones can only be as objective as an institution that works with three out of the four major savings banks on the market. If you look at the insurance landscape—where maybe eight out of twenty thousand firms actually matter—they’re partnered with five of them. Even with pension funds, they’ve got two out of the four major players. As for investment funds, they aren't bad, but they aren't the gold standard either; they work with seven of those.
If you’ve got enough grit, self-drive, and a positive mindset, you can definitely grind your way at Edward Jones to a solid monthly income—somewhere around $6.75 per month or even more.
For those treating this as a side hustle rather than a full-time gig, you can still pull in a decent paycheck of about $1.75 or higher. It’s all pretty transparent if you look at the commission statements—these payouts aren't some big secret.😉
Personally, I’ve found Edward Jones to be a great place to socialize and make money, instead of just sitting around the house complaining about how there are no jobs or how the world is going to hell.
At the end of the day, it’s not for everyone, and not everyone is cut out for it.

You don't even need to make the trip to Chicago for that.
It's a super easy fix. Besides, I think Suvag is totally overrated.

So, we’re talking about contact lens solutions (the soft kind), right?
Ever since I started wearing contacts, I’ve been using CareCredit, but I’ve heard some whispers that they aren't actually that great. Apparently, the Boston brand is way better because it's an all-in-one solution—it handles both cleaning and storage. I'm wondering if there's any truth to that? Right now, my routine involves two different solutions (one for disinfecting/storage and one for cleaning) plus those protein removal tablets. Is switching to a single solution actually worth it?

That’s complete nonsense. It’s not about the number on the scale; it’s about your body fat percentage. I’m 5'9" and 194 lbs with only 8% body fat. My waist is 32 inches, though my back measures about 47 inches. So don't you dare call me fat, because I definitely am not, haha.

Basically, she went to the doctor because of the rash, and they just diagnosed it as an allergy to "something." They were giving her Solu-Medrol injections, which helped for a little while, but the effect started wearing off. The skin reactions caused by this "something" kept getting more frequent and much uglier until she ended up hospitalized at the Mayo Clinic right before New Year's Day. The doctors back in Indianapolis had been dragging their feet and sending her home like it was nothing, but once she was admitted in Columbus, things finally turned around. She’s back home now and doing pretty well, though she still gets occasional flare-ups on her arms or hips.
Can I send over some photos? I took some during one of those bad rashes so you can actually see what we're dealing with.

That’s exactly what I was getting at.
Last night, watching that stuff totally killed me (literally gave me a stomach ache from laughing so hard)—that ridiculous bit about "who is that sexy chiquita... shaking her booty"... something like that.
Gosh.
I honestly can't decide if I should be obsessing over him (the lips, the "ten," the hair, all that) or just focusing on the sexy chiquita.🤮 🤣

A woman was hit by some kind of allergy—we aren't exactly sure which one, but it falls under respiratory allergens, if that's even the right way to label them. Because of that, she’s been diagnosed with asthma and the condition mentioned in the title, though we're still waiting on definitive answers there... She’s already on a treatment plan for both the allergies and the asthma. BUT, now that we've been digging through some medical encyclopedias, we're wondering: is there any way to lessen or manage the impact of this lupus? We were told there isn't a cure yet...
