Karen Sanchez19 said:People tend to pin their happiness and their love onto specific things, but true fulfillment comes when you realize you don't need any of those things to feel whole.🙏 😎 😎

Everything exists in its own right, constantly shifting and in perpetual motion. 🙂

I'm having a little trouble wrapping my head around what this sentence actually means... 🤔
Are you trying to say that we use our thoughts to attach specific meanings to our feelings and then project them onto things? If so, I'm totally on board with that. 🙂

Must be nice if that's how you see it. My point was actually heading in that same direction. That's exactly why I make a distinction between true love and happiness versus just having a subtle sense of focus.

People are way too fixated on external things. I can't tell you how many times I've caught myself feeling an emotion and immediately hunting for something—an object, a person, even just a thought—to pin it on, almost like I need to "attach" it to something real to make it valid.

Must be nice to see it that way. That’s actually exactly what I was getting at in my writing. It's why I make such a clear distinction between true love and happiness versus just feeling a subtle sense of focus.

Shumar and the master say:
Does love actually need a target? To me, what most people call love is really just a subtle kind of focus—one basic emotion buried within the massive spectrum of human feelings and how we react to things happening around us.

Personally, I don't think emotions even need an object at all. They just bubble up and fade away on their own, even when there isn't a single thing happening externally to trigger them.

I tend to view love more as this internal "feeling"—something that gently nudges you from deep within...

Maybe other people wouldn't call that "love," either... 🤔

Why even bother with all that manual work? What's the point of doing it by hand all day long?

Honestly, I'm not really into the whole doll thing—why deal with all that extra crap? Look, you can't exactly avoid certain things when it comes to women, so you just have to deal with the side effects. But if we're going artificial anyway, let's just get straight to the point and keep it simple.😎

Honestly, sex is probably bad for you. But it's like taking a pill; it might wreck your system, but when you're feeling low, you don't really have much of a choice. I’d rather people blow off some steam than sit around whining and making a scene.🙂

Grizzly, did you join the Jehovah's Witnesses or become a Mormon? Just asking because of how you acted today.

The image is a bit small.
By the way, that lady standing next to Grizzly is Mistress Dragonfly...

David Miller15 said:Why on earth are you equating consciousness with love? I have to disagree with you there...

Whenever the topic of love comes up, I always find myself coming back to a specific verse by William Wordsworth from his poem "Tintern Abbey":

" - a blessed tranquility,
In which love gently nudges us,
As long as breath remains within our physical frame,
And even as the flow of our human blood,
Is paused for a moment, without lulling the body
Or awakening the soul back to life."

Does love really need a specific "target"? To me, I see it more as a subtle kind of focus—just one standard emotion among the massive spectrum of human feelings and reactions to external triggers. I tend to view love as this deep-seated "feeling" that quietly moves you from within...

It’s nothing overly mystical or that pseudo-spiritual stuff you hear from New Age types blowing kisses and chanting, "We are all one!"
😁

So, what do you guys call this kind of thing?

just some truckers debating Nietzsche 🤣

"the philosophy of love"

Seriously, go get a life already. 🙂

When you get all "spiritual" and deep, it honestly feels like you're just being naive. You start thinking everything is profound, and suddenly even total idiots seem okay to you 😎 , you can call it "love" if you want, but really you're just being soft and letting anyone through your guard. 😎 🤣

I don't even get what this "love" thing is supposed to mean. Why does everyone feel the need to constantly hype up every little social interaction? Love, hate, tolerance—who cares what other people are doing or how they live their lives? Honestly, the less you deal with people, the better. You actually like them more when you aren't seeing them all the time. 🤣

Yeah, whatever. 🥳

The national "Gator" has a pretty ridiculous name, but honestly? This album is incredible. Over & out.

The top four spots are dominated by guys! 😁

Sarcasm and subtle hints 🙂

I mean, what do any of these people have to do with me anyway? 🥳

No, they're building a serious career on this forum 🥳

Porky Pig said:If I recall correctly, that dynasty was already in place before 🥳

it’s straight-up a power grab by the ruling elite! Brother! How much longer are we supposed to put up with this? You’ve got individuals who weren't even chosen through democratic processes, but instead used autocratic whims to grab positions that let them act like tyrants and bleed the people dry.

I hear you loud and clear. I don't follow soap operas. 😛 😉

Preach!!! 👋 😁

Porky Pig said:Just look at this, they wiped everything out 🤣

Except for that one spot where everyone’s practically on their knees begging her to come back because she expressed her utter disgust with this forum for not giving her enough attention... hmmm, what did she say again? "You just can't grasp the sheer depth of my intellect"... yeah, right. 🤣
:asshole:

Then there was another ban, too. The boys got all offended because I was messing with Hendrix (they're still just kids, apparently, thinking that just because he's called the God of Guitar on TV, there truly never was anyone better 🤣 ) and some weird side effect from me saying how much that actually pissed him off 🤣
Whatever, maybe I shouldn't even bother bragging about getting hit by such a third-rate ban 🤔 😁

Does a ban determine someone's manhood now? That's a new one. 🤔

Keep looking and you'll find what you're after... 🤣

Yeah, right. When I was actually looking for something, nothing turned up. Now that I'm over it, suddenly everyone's interested. 🙂

Classic woman behavior. 🤣

Maleficent said:A "dynasty"? 😲

I keep getting "notified" that either Blaise is going to move us to a different thread or Gaudrath is just going to delete us entirely. 😁

If I remember correctly, there used to be a dynasty here before this. 🥳

This is a total power grab by the establishment! Brother! How much longer are we supposed to put up with this kind of arbitrary behavior? We've got people being placed in positions of power through autocratic whims rather than democratic principles, giving them the perfect setup to act like tyrants and exploit the people.

Maleficent said:Show me the proof, then we'll talk. Right now, this is all just hearsay. 😁

I tried looking it up, but they wiped everything clean 🤣

Except for that one part where everyone was basically begging her to come back after she threw a massive tantrum because this forum wasn't giving her enough undivided attention... hmm, what did she say again? "You guys just can't grasp the sheer depth of my intellect"... yeah, right. 🤣
:asshole:

Then there was another ban—some kids got their feelings hurt because I was messing with Hendrix (they’re still young, apparently thinking that just because TV calls him the guitar god, he's actually the undisputed GOAT 🤣 ) and some other nonsense about how much I supposedly offended them 🤣
Whatever, maybe I shouldn't even bother bragging about getting banned by third-rate mods like that 🤔 😁
