Going solo... in Lonely Hearts ·
Joshua Barnes2, there’s really no point in wallowing in this. Honestly, the fastest way to get over him is to put yourself back out there and meet someone new. Throw on something sexy, go out, and if you need to use someone to feel better, just do it—the priority is getting your spark back. Once you start feeling good about yourself again, new love will naturally find its way to you. You carry yourself like such a total knockout; it would be such a shame to see you let yourself go 😉 best

A friend actually talked me into visiting them last week, and now I'm curious—has anyone here ever messed around with homeopathy? Specifically, has anyone tried using it to deal with infertility issues?
I honestly have no clue what people were actually expecting from The Matrix. You know how it goes—fan clubs start popping up everywhere, everyone starts overanalyzing the philosophy behind The Matrix, trying to figure out what on earth the writer was even aiming for. Then Reloaded and Revolutions roll around, and suddenly everyone is disappointed because they didn't get all these grand answers about Life, the Universe, and everything else. Now, they're just tearing the creators of The Matrix apart and screaming about how the movies suck. What I'm trying to say is... it's a damn movie, not a religion. The first one was a great film, and credit where credit is due. Any sane person could have guessed that the sequels wouldn't reinvent the wheel and that we'd basically be seeing more of the same. If you went in expecting deep cosmic revelations for questions the movie only hinted at, you clearly don't get how life works—just go buy a PlayStation.

DAMN

DUNNO

I heard someone saying that synthetic ones are way more dangerous, and that apparently Americans have access to the natural ones too... honestly, I have no clue...

I’ve been taking Triquilar around 4 p.m. lately. I haven't actually needed it for quite a while—there's no 😢—but I've gotten so used to having it in my routine that I feel totally dependent on it.
Honestly, it’s great being able to predict exactly when your period is coming, and you don't bleed nearly as much... not to mention the protective benefits against ovarian and uterine cancer 👍

Come on, I know for a fact you're just obsessed with Schumacher. Is your room covered in sticky posters of him or something?
Get some shame, man...
You're clearly just a huge fanboy. 🙂

This movie was absolute trash...
I’m usually a huge Star Wars : Revenge of the Sith fan, but this was just straight-up garbage..
The only thing that actually held up was Data; he was consistently good..

Alright, look, I’m not exactly thrilled about living on hormone patches, but...

(just in case) ...is there actually anything available on the US market with NATURAL (not synthetic) hormones?

&...

how much do those little patches usually run?

🙂

thanks (in advance)!

Such an awesome movie. It’s just a shame Scott changed the ending so that Clarence actually survives.

Check out the MSN Health site; you can find some actual "yoga tutorials" videos by Dr. Dean Ornish there. They’re actually pretty solid if you're just starting out.
I’ve personally sat through both *The Matrix* and *The Matrix Revolutions*. Honestly? The first one was a total masterpiece, but the second felt like a massive cash grab designed to bleed the fans dry. I haven't caught the third installment yet, so I can't weigh in on that just yet. While the core concept of the original film was brilliant, the sequel pretty much tanked the momentum. Don't get me wrong—the visual effects are wild, but honestly, I'm kind of over all that flashy CGI overkill. For me, a movie needs a rock-solid plot to back up the action scenes. The second part was a huge letdown, which is a real 🙂 shame, but I’m still holding onto hope thanks to how incredible the first one was 🙂. I’m really crossing my fingers that the third part actually delivers what it promises. Thanks 👍

I feel completely numb right now.
Empathy just doesn't seem to come naturally to me lately...
Love you guys...
At its core, this movie is all about the tension between war and peace. Let me try to break it down simply: Neo is basically Jesus, the Architect is God, and the Oracle acts as the Holy Spirit—the guide. It’s essentially a cinematic parallel to the Bible. Don't go hunting for logical gaps like, "Why didn't the Machines just build a tower and power it with solar panels?" This is Sci-Fi literature; you can't nitpick every single detail, even in a masterpiece from a different genre. I could easily start asking how they live with a literal hole in their heads without it messing up their walking or causing brain damage, especially since we all know the brain is such a delicate, flexible organ.
The film wraps up by emphasizing the necessity of an alliance—a truce—between humans and the Machines. Honestly, I don't think either side could survive solo under those conditions; people and machines need each other. In the Bible, Jesus emphasized the need for peace among men because, without it, humanity struggles to endure. The Wachowskis were trying to depict a future that we, as humans, should strive toward for the sake of our own survival. A lot of the dialogue between characters doesn't make logical sense on paper, mostly because I think only the Wachowskis themselves truly understand the depth of those relationships and the message they were driving at.
Maybe we should just wait for them to release a guidebook for the trilogy to finally put an end to all the endless arguing happening on the internet. Personally, I loved that the third movie ended exactly how it needed to. It didn't fall into the trap of some cheesy resolution, like Mom waking up Agent Smith and bringing him hot cocoa in bed. That kind of ending is much more satisfying, even if it's frustrating, because it doesn't hand you all the answers. Instead, it leaves you with more questions, which makes the story stick with you longer and keeps the interest alive (not to mention leaving plenty of room for potential sequels down the road).

Thanks for the links! I just added them all to my favorites on Voyager...🙂

Alright, let's get to work... loading up now. Honestly, I've never had much trouble getting started. From what I can gather, the trick is to focus on maybe two or three specific areas until you really get the hang of things, rather than spreading yourself too thin. To start off, it seems smart to dump most of it into some solid savings vehicles—for instance, a high-yield housing fund sounds pretty incredible at an 11-12% annual return. I might be taking a bit of a risk by "locking myself in" for such a long stretch, but hey, I need to learn how to walk before I can run.

P.S. Forgive me if I say something totally clueless here: I have a Master's in molecular biology, but when it comes to economics, I'm basically a complete novice.

I'm really looking for some solid advice on how to actually learn this stuff. I'd love recommendations for books, websites, magazines... anything useful. Ideally, something geared toward beginners so I can take it step by step.

Check out this thread so we don't keep repeating the same things:

To truly soak in what others are feeling—to actually live through their emotions and grasp where they're coming from.

'Awakening our shared humanity

"The universe" isn't out to get us or pass judgment;
it simply hands us the consequences, the lessons,
and the chances to use
the laws of cause and effect
to learn and find our balance.
Compassion is just recognizing
that everyone is doing the best they can
within the limits of their current
beliefs and capabilities." '

This really hit home for me. 🙂

Hey everyone!

I’m reaching out because I could really use some advice... honestly, any kind of guidance. A few days ago, my family hit a bit of a jackpot: my wife inherited $20,000 in cash.
Once the initial shock wore off, we started wondering what on earth to do with it. I don't want us blowing it on nonsense (which isn't likely, since I'm pretty frugal), but I also don't want to just let it sit in a basic savings account earning pennies while inflation eats away at its value. The catch is, I’m not exactly a financial wizard when it comes to investing. My career has been in a completely different field, and up until now, I haven't earned enough to deal with these kinds of "problems."

It goes without saying that I immediately dove headfirst into the internet to try and educate myself, but now I’m stuck. I’m totally overwhelmed by all the info out there, and half of it goes right over my head. So, here I am, asking you all: what should my next move be?

I’ve already put a portion toward a down payment fund for a house, with the goal of eventually buying a place outright rather than taking out a massive mortgage. I’m also looking into a Roth IRA, since from what I understand, it’s a relatively safe bet. The issue is the leftover cash. I’d love to put some of it into something a bit more "high-risk, high-reward," but I have no clue how to navigate that world.

More than anything, I’m looking for tips on *how* to learn. Are there specific books, websites, or publications you'd recommend? Something geared toward beginners that won't make my brain melt.

Thanks in advance...
