Yoga?? in Health ·
I’ve been practicing Yoga for quite a while now, and honestly, I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re just starting out, my best advice is to head to a local Yoga studio. Having a pro there to correct your form and point out which asana you're nailing versus which ones need work makes a huge difference. That said, if you're feeling shy, grabbing some instructional videos to try at home first is a great way to see if the vibe fits you before committing.
Basically, the practice is built on the Eight Limbs of Yoga:
Yama, which is all about discipline and learning how to treat others with kindness
Niyama, focusing on personal integrity and being good to yourself
asana, where we work through postures to detox the body and prep ourselves for meditation
breathwork, the practice of conscious, intentional breathing
sensory withdrawal, where we pull away from external distractions to enter our own mental space
Baron, or concentration, where you focus on a specific mantra or sound—like repeating "mmmmmmmmm," which is often thought to be the very first sound ever created if voiced correctly
Dhyana, or meditation
Samadhi, which is a bit harder to put into words—it's like reaching a state of ultimate perfection, where everything known and unknown becomes clear
I’ve always been moved by that Gandhi quote, "A clean spirit must build a clean body," and that’s exactly why I do this. I want to learn how to be a better person, and let’s face it, that’s easier said than done.
Even if you aren't really into the meditative side and just want to focus on asana, it’s still incredibly beneficial. As we get older, we naturally start losing flexibility and vitality—we actually physically shrink a bit over the years! Don't let those inches slip away; keep practicing. A massive bonus, believe me, is that it really helps slow down the aging process. Namaste.
(By the way, we say Namaste at the end of a session, which basically means "my soul recognizes yours").

Yoga, yoga, yoga... this is a question for Superman... or rather, for Yogamamen... aka Jimmy... who basically lives, breathes, fights, and dies for yoga!😁
Christian Perez10 says:
It’s such a massive letdown... coming from an incredible sci-fi masterpiece that didn't feel naive at all (just two years after the original dropped, a group of scientists actually claimed the first film's premise was scientifically plausible), ...

There was this article back in the 50s in some scientific journal titled "Brain in a Vat," and that likely served as the blueprint for the script...
....Honestly, why even be surprised by the sequel? It’s obvious even to a kid that this was nothing more than a cash grab... which, unfortunately, worked perfectly. They just have people jumping, flying, and blowing stuff up everywhere... and idiots fall for it, rushing to theaters to watch these commercialized pieces of junk. Dammit, this is what they call a "consumer society"—that's us right there. Just mindless consumers of whatever comes our way.
I really expected more from this. After sitting through the second installment, I was pretty let down, so I held out hope that the third movie would tie everything together. I wanted the whole trilogy to feel cohesive—like you could finally judge the work as a complete piece. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen; there are just too many loose ends left hanging at the end. It feels like the first movie had such a clear vision and theme, only for both those elements to get muddied and lost somewhere in the sequels. It's almost as if the first film was the only one actually trying to be something more than just mindless entertainment. Plus, the pacing is honestly bizarre (though I guess you could argue it's hard to balance the rhythm of three separate films into one experience). Even though it fell short of my expectations, it’s still a decent, fun watch.
Once Upon a Time in America in Movies ·
The movie is packed with a great cast, which almost makes up for how incredibly naive and predictable the plot is. I sat through the whole thing without even grabbing popcorn or anything, and honestly, I don't regret spending those few $8.25 minutes on it. Between seeing Antonio Banderas and just feeling good after leaving the theater, it was actually a pretty decent experience.
Vaginal contraceptive films are these tiny, clear strips—about an inch square. Each one comes individually vacuum-sealed, and you usually get a pack of twelve. Before you use it, you just rub it between your palms for a second to warm it up, then slide it onto your finger and push it in as deep as you can. Honestly, having your partner help out makes it even easier. It basically acts like a spermicide, but without all the drama. There are zero hormones involved, and none of that annoying daily hassle or setting phone reminders to remember to take a pill. That’s really it.👍

Honestly, though? You should really go talk to a doctor about this.
Look, everything else is fine, and the ending hits exactly how it should (just like I mentioned in my previous post), but they completely glossed over one thing. It’s easily the weakest link in the entire trilogy:

- How does Neo actually end up in the Construct? The whole thing the Merovingian says feels totally undermined and confusing. In *Reloaded*, his presence there is vital, but then in *Revolutions*, they just brush his entire arc under the rug with three minutes of exposition where things just "happen" so the plot can move along. While I think the subplot involving the Indian guy and his family—especially the little girl, who I assume plays a huge role later—is incredibly poignant, I'll probably have to rewatch the whole series just to wrap my head around it. There's a logical way to connect the kid, the Oracle, and that Jet Li cameo, but Neo’s trip to the Construct—which is clearly the Merovingian's doing—has zero explanation, and honestly, that’s a massive letdown.

As for the rest—it’s basically the gold standard. If anyone thinks they can do better, step up to the plate; until then, everyone else can just keep struggling.
Starting a small business in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Does anyone know how much it actually costs to set up a small business here in the States? I’m looking at starting a mobile service where I wouldn't even need a physical office or anything like that.

Thanks for the help!
I’m going to drop a little spoiler here (SPOILER ALERT), though honestly, the massive debate over The Matrix is going to explode tomorrow anyway once all the armchair philosophers, critics, and pundits get back from the premiere.

Personally, I thought the third installment was killer. The story is complete—it’s like everything clicked into place, yet nothing actually makes sense.

That’s exactly why the movie works so well; after the credits roll, you’re left staring at the screen thinking, "Wait, what the hell just happened?" It’s brilliant how they refuse to give any concrete answers.

You don't find out if Neo is truly The One, or who the Oracle and the Architect really represent, or even what the deal is with the rest of the people we met in the previous films. Nothing. Whatever you think happened, happened simply because—according to the film—that’s just how it went down. We aren't even left knowing if the "real world" is actually real, what year it is, or if Neo's predecessors and the premises from the second film were just stories fed to him by the Machines to treat him like an anomaly, forcing him back into place to leave the Matrix alone. Is it all just a game played by system programmers manipulating everyone else, or is the whole thing just a twisted allegory for modern society, globalization, and total control?

Regardless, there’s enough room for sequels, spin-offs, and themed comic books to last a lifetime. It would be crazy to expect we won't see anything else bearing the Matrix name again. This saga—split into a trilogy plus some animated shorts and a video game (and let's be real, if you haven't played the game, you have no clue what was happening with Niobe, Ghost, and the other ship captains during the gap between the second movie and the Council, haha)—has concluded. And I say this: it ended MEGA-SUCCESSFULLY. Thank God someone made a movie like this, and thank God it’s the best one.

The first one was great, the second was great, and the third was just as great.

The critics will always have something to say and plenty of ways to nitpick, right up until someone hands them a MacBook Pro and puts them in front of Final Cut Pro and Maya. Then they’ll shut up, bite their lips, and head home to their tiny apartments. There’s a massive difference between trashing someone’s work and actually having the skill to create it. The Matrix is a masterpiece, and it’s unlikely anyone will pull off something like this again anytime soon. And honestly, that’s where the true value lies.
I honestly don't get why everyone puts so much effort into those pills... all the drama, side effects, and other nonsense. There's actually something called a vaginal contraceptive film. It has zero side effects, it isn't hormone-based, and you only use it right before things get intimate—so you don't have to stress about it every single day. Plus, it's 99% effective. Seriously girls, stop putting unnecessary chemicals into your bodies... figure it out.

If they pull that, I'm basically trapped in the suburbs, unable to escape to the mountains whenever I need to clear my head. Honestly, it feels like the devil is working overtime lately, using feminine disguises just to distract anyone trying to live a spiritually centered life.

🙂 Sweetie, walk me through what happened with this whole driver's license mess so we can get it sorted out. 🙂

As for the other thing... the best way to deal with one female devil is to find another one and throw them both into a mud pit to fight it out. 🎉 🙂

Or just tell me who this person is that's giving you such a hard time—I'll step in and handle it. 🙂 😉

brightscout63, if you actually go see that absolute disaster of a movie, I can promise you one thing: this week is going to be a total write-off for you.

...and as for the rest of you... honestly, you're all just conformists...
...why are we even pretending everything is fine? If American cinema is circling the drain, let's have the guts to say it instead of acting like it isn't terrible (and trust me, it can always get worse)...
...any real artist would rather do nothing at all than produce "something," but around here, people have been churning out mediocre "something" for ages... and even that "something" is barely passing for work.
....
Cheers to Ivo G.—he's the only bright spot in this whole film!—seriously, the guy actually knows how to act. Major props!

Ephedrine in Health ·
George Bailey2 said:Of course it doesn't include those; she was just pointing out that ephedrine is typically sold alongside aspirin and caffeine because the ECA stack is such a potent and widely used thermogenic combo.

It isn't usually pre-mixed like that—people tend to DIY their own stacks using three different supplements, with ephedrine and bronchodilators being the heavy hitters. Plus, it's not even legal to sell this way since it fails drug tests!
