Until the anesthesia fails her, she suffers a thrombosis, or her kidneys just give out completely?
Who can we even turn to?
The doctor blames Medicare,
Medicare points the finger at the employer,
and the employer just shifts everything back onto her...
Seriously, how long is this going to last?

just seeing if anyone would actually bite...
but my point still stands.
Kalahan mcp. said:I remember reading about how people used to take sick children to lay them on graves—with someone watching over them, of course—hoping the proximity would heal them. It’s one of those forgotten folk magic rituals. I’m sure there are plenty of other examples involving burial sites, but nothing else is jumping to mind right now.

I promise to practice my profession with conscience and honor. My highest priority will be the care and health of my patients. I will protect the privacy of everyone who entrusts themselves to me. I will uphold the dignity and noble traditions of this calling with all my strength. My colleagues will be my brothers and sisters. In serving my patients, I will remain indifferent to any considerations of religion, nationality, race, politics, or social class. I will hold human life in the highest regard, from its very beginning. Under no circumstances, even under threat, will I allow my medical knowledge to be used in ways that violate the laws of humanity."
I make this solemn pledge, of my own free will, and by my honor."

Is it because homeopathy, God, and all that crap are considered "unscientific"???
Luke said:Herbal supplements and homeopathy aren't the same thing. Homeopathy uses extremely diluted preparations (which might actually come from a plant or something else), so there isn't really any active ingredient left. The "active" part is just water that has "memorized" whatever substance was dissolved in it once (we've already gone over the specifics of that on the science forum, so I won't repeat myself).
Jimmy said:Wait, what?! Man, I’m seriously bummed I don't follow your deep dives on the science boards more closely. I missed out on all those important discussions and whatever conclusions you guys reached...😁 I clearly missed some big stuff here...🙂 So the water "memorized" the crystal lattice of atoms, huh? Yeah, right...😁 Good grief... saying homeopathy works based on the plant matter inside itself? That's actual medical school curriculum... maybe not at your school... but certainly at most others. And ma'am, "we talked about this on the science board"...
