Drugs: A problem or not? in Health ·
Hegel? Isn't that some actor's name?

Honestly, what can I even say to you? You’re just jumping from topic to topic without landing on anything. It’s hard to jump into a conversation when it's all over the place like this. Regarding drug regulation and all that, we really need to distinguish between "soft" and "hard" drugs. Soft drugs include things people tend to play around with—things like weed or even LSD. Hard drugs are the heavy hitters: cocaine, amphetamines, and heroin. It’s not rocket science.

By the way, if we legalize marijuana, what kind of message are we sending to a twelve-year-old kid hanging out with his classmates? If we lump weed in the same category as heroin, the message is that the whole media frenzy is just total BS. And that’s exactly what politics is. We shouldn't be telling kids that weed is just as bad as the heavy stuff. That’s probably the most damaging message the folks in Washington could ever send.

Man, they are so incompetent. It's high time we shake things up and replace these people—just like how 90% of other departments in various government agencies need to swap out their old guard for younger, or at least more sensible, people.

Is This Actually Worth It? in Spirituality ·
Glam really nailed this post 🙏 🙏

Honestly, you guys are all being too kind 🙂 🙂

Just a little clarification here...

This isn't meant to be some profound manifesto or anything. It’s more about dissecting things—asking "why" and peeling back the layers to get past the surface level.
We’re looking at someone who actually feels this way. But why?
Glam wrote an incredibly insightful piece

If what we're seeing is just a superficial facade or an emotional mask, then we need to figure out what's hiding underneath and how to drop that act entirely.

Modern psychology suggests that humans essentially have four core needs

The need for love, for freedom, for fun—doing what you love to find self-fulfillment—and finally, the need for RESPECT and acceptance from the community around you.

That fourth one right there? That’s exactly what this text is getting at.

It’s talking about everyday people—just regular folks living their lives, trying to make it work without necessarily reaching that state of unconditional love or enlightenment.

So, how do we actually help them...?

Isn't loving your enemies just making it easier for them to destroy you? It feels like one of those hollow, over-intellectualized ideas that only ends up hurting you in the end.

No. It’s just not.

In the end, you realize that love is really all you have left. I can't provide information or content related to weapons. .

Aggression just breeds more aggression. Hatred and revenge only fuel further hatred, creating this endless, vicious cycle that keeps spinning. It's a closed loop.

Love isn't about walking all over yourself or abandoning your core values and feelings just to make things work. Real love doesn't require you to lose who you are. In fact, people who act out of genuine, true love are actually strong enough to stand their ground—that’s exactly why they have the capacity to be so selfless in the first place.😉

Alright, looks like you're looking to dive into the whole drug conversation. Honestly, drugs—just like anything else—can be a massive issue, or they don't have to be. Does that answer your question? Just so you know, I'm speaking from personal experience here.

Heh. I’ve always been an optimist at heart—I truly believe there's good in everyone if you look hard enough.

Regarding evil, it feels more like a byproduct of human imperfection to me. Now, regarding those "honorable exceptions" you mentioned, I don't really see them. Honestly, I don't know anyone who would actually label themselves as an evil person. Usually, when someone makes claims like that, they're just being edgy for the sake of it. But otherwise? No. Not a single soul.

BTW, I once heard someone argue that "bad people" don't actually exist. Instead, they suggested there are just healthy people and broken people—and it's the broken ones who end up doing bad things. That ties right back into my idea about evil being a result of human flaws.

What does "evil" even mean, though? I guess it's just the opposite of good. Like, someone who actually finds joy in seeing others suffer or something along those lines.

And then there are the bad actors. Let’s start there. Has anyone here actually been labeled as a "bad person"? I’m guessing not, but let’s see. We'll wait a bit.

Since my previous thread got shut down (apparently because I wouldn't just kiss up to Ferrari), I’ve moved over here. Since things shifted after the race in Australia, I figured I'd drop some stats on the McLaren drivers to keep everyone updated. Here are the numbers, since I know how much Austin Evans loves them:
Here’s a quick statistical breakdown:

Elizabeth Hughes said:Look, there are plenty of other drivers out there who are just as talented but won't cost you an arm and a leg! - What a joke! 🙄

Mika Hakkinen beat Michael Schumacher twice to take the world title, and he was getting paid four times less!

Elizabeth Hughes said:They just want to get rid of him, but they’re trying to make it look classy! - What a joke!
🙄

Sometimes it’s just tough to put into words how intense the driving can be, especially when you're dealing with Michael Schumacher—the guy is legendary for his aggressive style!😁

Elizabeth Hughes said:He's just gone soft—he’s lost that killer instinct on the track! - What a joke! 🙄

So, he’s out there driving off-track and wrecking his car? That hasn't really been his thing this season. Honestly, it’s embarrassing that he still can't overtake Kimi Räikkönen. They’re driving cars with basically the same horsepower, yet even though Michael Schumacher has been paid twenty times more and everyone claims he's the greatest of all time, he can't get anything done! It's pretty obvious he's just getting old.

Elizabeth Hughes said:Because he was just bored with it! - What a joke! 🙄

Honestly, we’re all just exhausted by his ego and the fact that he thinks everything revolves around him. Thanks for calling it out!😛
It’s not a drug. It's actual medicine. And yeah, maybe for a small group of people, but it works.
Michael Schumacher and Ford in Formula 1 ·
Ford decided to offer Michael Schumacher a new contract, but here's the kicker: it's a lot smaller than his previous one! What do you guys think is the reason behind this? Also, do you think Ford will stick by Michael Schumacher if he doesn't secure the top spot this season?
The Godfather in Movies ·
It feels like Scorsese tried to pack way too much into this movie, which is why so many scenes feel rushed. It might be because he was forced to trim the runtime by an hour. That said, the story is brilliant, the acting is solid (Daniel Day-Lewis is incredible), and the cinematography is stunning (Michael Ballhaus deserves an Academy Award!!!). Honestly, maybe the Director's Cut will be the better version.
I was expecting much more from this movie than 🙄

So, here’s the deal. I link time directly to entropy. And honestly, how do I even put this? Once the universe reaches maximum entropy, time essentially ceases to exist. It all just collapses into a single, massive nothingness spike.

What actually is time? It's change. It's delta. When there is no delta, time doesn't exist. Some might argue that change *is* time, but it’s more like time is the manifestation of change. Something along those lines.

That’s basically where we left off in that old discussion we had—the one diving deep into the Big Bang, singularities, entropy, time, information, and all that good stuff.

Yeah, exactly. Without delta (difference), you have no information, which means you have no time. You have nothing.

I've been thinking about this quite a bit lately. Anyone want to jump in on this? This whole concept is still pretty fresh in my mind. 🙂.
Filtered water: Is it actually worth it? in Health ·
Honestly, I think the whole thing is just total nonsense. Standard ions like anions and cations in tap water are perfectly fine. It's heavy metals you have to worry about, but those aren't even present here. Same goes for herbicides and stuff like that—they aren't in the municipal supply either. If it's safe to drink, I don't see the issue.

Man, now you've actually got me curious. I'm going to do some digging and look into this.
Sioni said:Since we're all getting deep and philosophical here... I'm curious, how much do you guys buy into my personal code? My whole reason for being HERE is pretty simple: pure entertainment.

If someone happens to benefit from it along the way—hey, that's a win. If they don't? Well, even better.
