Is there any way to turn off my "active status" so I don't show up as online? It might sound a little weird, but I swear I’ve seen people do this. For example, if I see a post that was just made right now at 😂, say around 9:05 PM, I'll show up as being online, but some other users still appear as offline 😁 Maybe I'm just overthinking things 😛
So, I recently found out I have E. coli in my ejaculate. My doctor put me on a four-week course of antibiotics, and even though I’ve been taking them for about ten days now, that stinging sensation just won't quit. Does anyone here know more about this? How serious is it when you find E. coli in your semen? Also, should I be drinking cranberry juice—can that actually help at all?
Jeremy Wilson5 said:When it comes to cakes, you should probably plan on one cake serving about 20 people. So, for a crowd of 200, I’d suggest aiming for 10 cakes if you're going with something like a croquant; however, if you opt for a traditional wedding cake, maybe 2 or 3 fewer would suffice. If you're thinking about serving extra sweets later on, you might want to account for one additional cake just to be safe. I’d also suggest looking into the Mississippi Delta, at least regarding their decorations. I haven't personally tried them, but I imagine the flavors are somewhat similar—there's just nothing quite like homemade, I suppose. The closest local option would be an American Pie. They are located up in the hills, right near that famous first Kerum shop (at least, that's how it was explained to me! :-). Generally speaking, the women there make absolutely wonderful cakes and wedding treats.
Thanks 😍 But how many pounds of sweets should I actually order?🤷
I was actually thinking about ordering from somewhere like Bobis or maybe down in the Mississippi Delta... I assume they all offer delivery, but I’m just not sure how much I should get. I know back in Honeycomb you could grab a combo deal that included their pies, so that's why I mentioned getting the meal without the dessert.🤷
Should I go ahead and order the cakes and pastries? How much stuff do you actually need for a crowd of 170? 😲
Everyone agreed to me without even mentioning dessert—is that because they don't offer sweets, or did they just assume I'd be baking everything myself? 🤷 But let's be real, there's no way they're doing it. 😬
mm you're being way too picky... won't go downtown, won't go to San Diego... honestly, you're harder to please than I am 😂 we went ahead and booked the Mammoth so it's happening whether you like it or not 🤷
It looks like Ino and Mammoth are keeping their distance from each other lately, right? They’ve both got about a month and a half of downtime ahead of them 🤷 But honestly... just thinking about those two together 🙂 I'd love it if someone could post some photos of those two rooms (if they're out there anywhere) along with some thoughts on them... 🙂
Thanks so much, Raymond Brooks7 😘 Now I just need the contact info for all the other photographers... please, ladies 😍
EDIT: I found most of them... thanks to your suggestions and the absolute chaos of the group chat 😉 I'm starting to look for venue numbers that can accommodate about 150-170 people now... So if you have any recommendations—shoot me a DM with the numbers 👋
Karen Young17 said:For those who haven't seen them yet—those Newton-style photo corners can actually be picked up at Staples. I grabbed some over at the shop on 109 Main Street for about $56...
Does anyone happen to know where in the city I can find those paper photo corners? You know, the kind you use for scrapbooking albums? 🙂
Hey, does anyone know if they make one with eight spheres? If you guys know... 🙂 price doesn't matter 😁
Ugh, yeah... definitely time for me to weigh in on this thread. I'm a 21-year-old guy... had one hemorrhoid about a year ago. I went to see a specialist back then, and let me tell you, he performed the exam live, and I've never felt pain like that in my entire life. It was absolutely brutal. After that, all five of them finally subsided after about four days. I'm not entirely sure what the doctor did during the exam, but I swear it felt like he just poked right into the wound. Before that incident, I was stuck at home in agony for two weeks; I couldn't even walk. I was using Faktu ointment and doing like a hundred sitz baths a day before the doctor finally pulled me out of that mess. Fast forward to now... two days ago, right after a bowel movement (which was soft, by the way), I felt it pop out. Usually, it feels like something is just there, and I expect it to retract within half an hour like it always does. But this time? The intense pain and the fact that the whole thing was hanging out really messed me up. I spent all of yesterday traveling outside of Chicago without any cream or anything, just constantly washing up. I haven't had another bowel movement yet, even though I've totally adjusted my diet. Today, getting back into the city, I finally picked up some Dolocain—or whatever the name is—and I'm finally applying it. But here’s the thing... looking through 21 pages of this thread, I don't think I've found anyone with a situation quite like mine. People keep mentioning tiny drops of blood, or just a couple of drops, or things the size of a grain of rice or a poppy seed. Honestly, it's tripping me out because when I checked my boxers this morning, there were about 20 drops of blood everywhere, and the hemorrhoid is sticking out and is roughly the size of a small walnut. What the hell is going on? I have no clue. If there's anyone here who is terrified of doctors, I am officially your guy—I'm the one who sat through that surgery/exam completely raw without any anesthesia. So, what should I do? Faktu wasn't doing squat for me. We'll see how the Dolocain works. I just need to kill this pain so I can actually move normally again. Sending love to everyone else dealing with this; I can see a lot of you here know exactly what it's like.
Sophia Fowler14 said:In America, everything seems to be upside down and backwards, so this petition doesn't really surprise me! Regardless, it's great to see a few like-minded people teaming up to start something positive! Count me in—where and when can I sign???🙂 👍👍👍
PS. Petitions like this one bring people together, and once they actually see some results, it makes the whole community much stronger!!
I'm right there with you... unfortunately, it makes you wonder about things here in our beautiful country.😢
I'm not quite sure when things will get moving. I'm down south, and as the saying goes: "The further south you go, the sadder it gets"... which feels pretty accurate for my city right now. Trust me, I am more than willing to join everyone else across America in supporting this.👍
As soon as I hear any updates regarding this petition, I'll definitely post them here.👍
Sending warm wishes from the sunny South to everyone who took a moment to look at this post! 🙂
I'm crossing my fingers that they get the medication added to the coverage list—hopefully soon—so you can all get treated and put this whole nightmare behind you.
Maya—even here in the States, Herceptin wasn't covered until about two years ago. A group of women fought for it through the media, so Moth—it might be worth looking into making some noise that way too.
Honestly, thank God it’s been almost five years since I dealt with all of this, and I really hope it's stayed in the past. I fall into that category of women diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. Thankfully, I don't need the specific drug anymore, but there are so many women in America right now who desperately need it and just can't afford the astronomical cost.
I truly hope we can make a difference if we work together... 👍
I was wondering if there's any way to change the color of my username... for example, instead of having DumaDuma in blue, could I make it look like a moderator or admin's name? 😂 Not necessarily exactly like theirs, but maybe something like light blue, gold, or something else cool...
Bradley Fisher18 said:Everyone just chill out. Honestly, it’s fine. It was just some drunken antics—nothing major to worry about... 😍
So why are you stirring the pot for no reason? Reading stuff like this instantly puts me in a bad mood.
The vibe within our circle is great. My group and I actually decided we prefer hanging out with other small groups rather than dealing with the rest of BBB. There's way less drama, and everyone stays chill without all the side-eyeing.
Here are two new ones. I honestly feel like I’ve achieved everything I wanted with my physique; now I’m just maintaining it through a mix of S-Factor training and cardio. 😉
You can't really see my waistline in this one, but it's definitely there—it looks pretty toned otherwise.
So, I'm looking for a private clinic in Chicago where I can get a quick urology checkup. I'm pretty sure I've picked up some HPV (a wart on my genitals) and I want to get it removed right then and there... Also, if anyone knows roughly how much that would cost and how long the whole process takes, let me know, because I really want to get this sorted ASAP. Thanks for the help!
