Idiocracy (2006) in Movies ·
The creators really underestimated their own work when they dropped it straight onto the streaming market, never imagining it would eventually become such a cult classic...

Ricky Schroder - The Champ as The Earthling

It feels like the Democratic Party news outlets are just as unreliable... I’m definitely on the same page as you here:

Back in '87, you'd hear Sand Dance playing constantly on the radio, and I think it was even featured during prime time on MTV...

Those folks over at Index would probably find a way to label everyone in gardening articles as "right-wingers" too...

In theory, everything sounds wonderful, but the reality on the ground is a completely different story. It would be such a relief if the platform's moderation policy were actually 100% neutral, treating trolls from all sides with the same level of scrutiny instead of protecting the same handful of people for years... I won't go naming names, because we all know exactly who they are, whether they happen to be bots or just some regular losers...

The way they're managing everything regarding COVID-19 is just completely unprofessional.
Honestly, I can't say I'm surprised by their actions anymore...

Nanjing! Nanjing!...
It truly stands out as one of the most powerful war dramas I've ever had the chance to watch...

Mulan...
I remember seeing it on an American network a few years back, and honestly, you're much better off watching the original Chinese masterpiece than that Disney's trash...

It’s honestly quite unsettling what this young Swedish blogger is saying here:

I read something completely different, actually... It seems like Norwegians and Danes are getting really worked up and are threatening a massive boycott of Delta Air Lines, while they're blaming the dislikers on the right wing and Russian hacker...
The thing that seems to have sparked the most anger was a young African man talking about "our Viking heritage"...

I remember posting something similar about Koreans a while back, and I was immediately swarmed by those usual trollish types who just wanted to start an argument about "racism"...

Rachel Allen55 said:Way back in the day in America, I was visiting some TV station—can't even remember which one now—watching this goofy sketch comedy show. In one of the bits, some guy runs this ice cream parlor or maybe just a little cafe, doesn't really matter. What killed me, though, was the premise: he’d hired a bunch of Swedes to work there because they had fled to America as refugees due to all the unrest over in Sweden.😁It turns out our Swedish neighbors took that exact same route to get here.

Word is they finally caught him. I just can't wrap my head around how he could have strolled out so casually, almost like he was playing Steven Seagal in one of those movies...

Did anyone catch that Swedish documentary series "troll hunter" on PBS last night?
It's quite interesting how they focus on people living out in the rural countryside, far away from the major cities...
There’s a real mix of characters in there, ranging from the typical small-town troublemakers with too much time on their hands to those who act as political critics...

Is this actually happening somewhere?

The article claims some guy was just having a casual, friendly chat with the police at a train station in Seattle, only to be sent off for a urine test because they suspected him of using steroids—all because his muscle definition looked a little too perfect.

Really?
Fun fact, the guy is from the US.

I wonder who is actually writing their laws...
Like some Monty Python sketch...

I stumbled upon an article claiming that the recent traffic chaos in Washington, D.C. was actually caused by "gender-equal" snow removal efforts. 😵🙏

A few years ago, I might have laughed this off as some sort of joke, but honestly, I don't think that's the case anymore.

Basically, the socialists and the high-society leftists currently running things in Washington, D.C. have implemented a rule where sidewalks and bike lanes must be cleared before the main roads. The logic? Statistically, men are more likely to drive cars while women are more likely to cycle or walk, so if they clear the streets first and leave the paths for later, it’s labeled as "discrimination and gender inequality." Yes, you read that correctly. 😵

quo vadis Sweden?..

Epilogue:

If something like this happened in a place as liberal as Canada, there would be riots everywhere and Quebec would probably just break away...

I wonder if these geniuses actually commute by car or by bike themselves...
What happens when the entire city just grinds to a halt?!🤔

The Green Party in Sweden is basically like a toddler when it comes to their naive, clueless logic. 😵
No wonder the far right is popping up everywhere like weeds after a rainstorm.

People used to say "naive as a French maid," but nowadays they might just say "naive as a Swedish liberal"...
